Red Lines Reveal Dark Secrets
If Strangers from Hell and Taxi Driver had a child — it would be S-Line.While the main plot of S-Line isn’t exactly the same as those dramas, it feels similar. The overall vibe is heavy, tense, and unsettling, much like Strangers from Hell. There’s a constant sense of discomfort and mystery that keeps you on edge the entire time.
In terms of structure, it follows a more episodic format, similar to Taxi Driver. The core storyline develops slowly in the background while new plots and mini-stories unfold in each episode. This keeps the drama fresh and engaging, giving you something new to latch onto every time while still weaving in deeper threads (no pun intended).
The leads do a great job portraying subtle shifts in emotion, and the supporting characters are equally unsettling. They are layered and unpredictable, you never quite know who to trust. I’ve always loved Lee Soo Hyuk and rarely see him in lead roles, so it was such a treat to see more of him on screen (and he absolutely delivered!). As for Lee Da Hee, while I haven’t always connected with her performances in the past, she had a much smaller role in this and actually suited it really well - I was pleasantly surprised. A Rin played her character so well, it was interesting to see a different side of her acting.
The storytelling is bold (sometimes disturbing) and while it’s not perfect, with some parts feeling underdeveloped, the plot is intriguing and easy to binge. It’s fast paced with a unique concept, and despite only 6 episodes, the drama uses its time well to thoughtfully uncover many details.
If you like psychologically heavy dramas with a mysterious edge and enjoy watching dark stories unfold one episode at a time, S-Line is absolutely worth checking out!

It begin as a conceptual work but it fell into a trap at the end
I feel this is very conceptual and till ep 5 it was a 10/10 for me (gorgeous cinematography and visual storytelling, acting on point, engaging episodes) the 6th episode is a whole other story, I am someone who usually loves a nonsense story that is all concept and metaphors but I find the sci-fi part a bit lacking, almost lazy writing, and while I liked the very ending it could have been different imo, it turned something somewhat new into a cliché, which has it’s place when you know it’s good and works but for this one it didn’t work, almost like they were trying to be unique and fell in the trap of using bad cliché instead of good one (if it were camp and absurd I would have liked it more but they left it in that mid “this is conceptual but still normal enough” way that almost hits somewhat like an uncanny valley). That being said, I still gave it a 9.5.

A brilliant series, but not for everyone.
A brilliant series. No romance or tears. Life is shown just as it is. An excellent portrayal of questions like: Is it hard to be God? What happens when all secrets are revealed?All the actors created believable characters. I especially enjoyed A Rin’s performance — her character felt real, relatable, and evoked a strong desire to support and protect her.
And Soo Hyuk with his bouquet — simply incredible. His character fully understood who he was, which is why the changes in the world didn’t affect him.
I love shows that make you reflect on serious topics and inspire self-growth.
But this series isn’t for everyone.

Unique concept but I lost interest
Its mature and had explicit content so I guess its too heavy for some people.I like the darkness that it shows. For once, the characters haven't been polished to perfection. They have their own imperfections and faults. I like that.
The best part of the drama is that you don't have any idea about what path the lead characters will choose and how will they end up. Almost everyone is grey and I don't think I have seen that in any other kdrama.
Its not the most thrilling but its still thrilling enough to bind you to the screen till the end.
The style of direction actually felt japanese to me interestingly. Overall, its somewhat dark but if you like unique thrilling dramas, this is for you. The acting is actually good.

Very interesting and educational kdrama but . ... lacks "something"
The drama explores the old concept of "thread of fate" and the new age / yoga / martial arts of aura and energetic cords between people, between chackras and tan tien, etc.So the series simplifies the concept and makes it "easy to see" red lines between people who have had sex. There is no indication of the quality fo the relationship, just very simple plain count - did you do it and with whom. And then there is a line between you.
So we get to see various cases of use and abuse of those lines.
The acting is quite good. Except FL.
The filming is a little too dark and murky. Needs to be filmed more clearly.
The concept works and is HILLARIOUS bc ML "the good guy" is not really a good guy. He is a murky unethical irresponsible guy, and then has to shape up. Hopefully.
It is good that FL decides on her on to turn a new leaf and be useful.
The drama addresses issues that most psychic people have - being shunned and ostracized and humiliated....

It gets really weird and then you realize it WAS weird from the start, bc sex is associated witih VIOLENCE .... the ending is realistic..... ep 6 was weird like modern theater performance. But it lacks... something... it is about VIOLENCE and GUILT and BLOOD and KILLING associated with sexuality.... so .. the whole drama is like some chistian thing. Yeah like it was made by a born again christian or something like that... so much guilt blood and viiolence... DEFINITELY A TWISTED CHRISTIAN CHURCH VIBE

Very promising. Has the potential for drama of the year
The plotline is extremely refreshing as you can read from the description.The direction is top notch. This is what I would call an amazing social commentary through the lense of fiction.
It delves into every troubling topic under the sun. That includes social anxiety, jealousy, cheating, obsession, pedophilia, abandonment, murder, corruption...you name it and this drama has it.
What binds the audience to this drama is THE THRILL that it gives you despite darker themes. It's nail biting, at least in the beginning .I have very high hopes from this drama.
The cast is well casted. Good job to the director. The actors are doing a great job.

História mal contada …
é uma viagem em que o roteirista parece ter tomado várias drogas quando escreveu ……* Resumo mal feito mas vai ajudar a entender essa história … a série se passa numa sociedade alternativa aonde essas linhas vermelhas ( s line ) representa conexões com quem as pessoas tiveram relações sexuais … existe duas maneiras de ver essas linhas : usando o óculos que a vilã entregava de propósito ( já sabendo que a pessoa sofria ou sofreria algum trauma por algum segredo ) ou com um dom natural ( que é o caso da mocinha da história ) … a história se passa contando sobre como as relações sexuais influenciam na nossa sociedade e cotidiano de maneira negativa … a mocinha pelo seu dom é perseguida por essa vila a vida todas mas só descobre quem é no último episódio com a ajuda do detetive … o último episódio é o confronto final da mocinha com a vila que na verdade é uma entidade não humana / espiritual ( algo assim ) que consegue controlar todas essas linhas e essas pessoas que meio que formam uma seita , a vilã quer manipular a mocinha para se juntar a ela … a vilã machuca a mocinha que faz com que seu sangue seja jogado sobre o mundo todo já que ela está em uma outra dimensão superior e todos agora podem ver essas linhas vermelhas fazendo com que ela já não seja mais especial … a mocinha não aceita se juntar a seita e mata ela , mas no final da a entender que ela não conseguiu mata-lá … exatamente porque querem fazer uma segunda parte , mas não tem nada confirmado …
* Final aberto : dizem que o final está aberto para a possível segunda temporada … a história deixa dúvidas no ar , a vila mata aleatoriamente ? Quando ela mata quem chega perto da mocinha para deixá-la frágil , a gnt entende … mas ela usa isso para as pessoas se vingarem de quem machucou as vítimas por delitos sexuais ? Mata só pelo sangue ? Ela ajuda essas vítimas ? O óculos manipula mesmo ou é só uma fraqueza na personalidade das vítimas escolhidas ? … sei lá …
*Objetivo da história : na verdade é meio q ué uma crítica sobre as relações sexuais construídas pelas pessoas que não São tão simples assim , não é apenas sexo , existe o julgamento social , traição , estupro , relações não consentidas , frustrações sexuais , manipulações para ter essas relações ….. enfim , cada trauma é bem montando o que ficou ame pé nem cabeça foi o objetivo da vila em querer atrair a mocinha pro lado dela …. Ela quer o que ? Matar todo o mundo a toa ? Ela quer construir uma sociedade puritana ou perdida ? Ela quer testar a hipocresía humana ???????? Sei lá ….

Un drama completamente sconclusionato
A parte Lee Soo-hyuk (che ha sempre il suo fascino in questi ruoli da tenebroso silenzioso 🖤), la storia… non ha né capo né coda.All’inizio sembrava promettente: casi misteriosi, colpevoli da scoprire, questi famosi “occhiali” che rivelano le S Line… ti fai mille domande:
👓 Chi li ha creati?
🧠 Cosa significano davvero queste linee?
👣 Perché solo alcuni riescono a vederle?
Il tutto parte con un bel “perché” che ti invoglia ad andare avanti. E poi… BOOM 💥
Negli ultimi due episodi si perde ogni logica: pura follia.
La professoressa… chi è veramente?!
Sembrava un vampiro più che un’aliena, immortale tipo Hyeon Hop… e perché questa ossessione nel voler mostrare i legami al mondo intero?
E ancora:
– Perché solo lei e Hyeon Hop possono vedere le linee senza occhiali?
– Come fanno a rigenerare il loro corpo?
– E questa “dimensione parallela” da dove sbuca fuori?!
Zero risposte. Solo caos.
Un finale assurdo, sanguinoso, pieno di morti ingiuste e domande lasciate a metà.
Per la prima volta mi sono detta: "Ma chi me lo ha fatto fare?!"
Vampirello mio bello… stavolta è NO. Drama bocciatissimo! ❌

Nossa protagonista é uma adolescente de cabelo desgrenhado que vê linhas vermelhas flutuando na cabeça de quem já fez rala e rola… tchaca tchaca na butchaca…vuco vuco… vocês entenderam!!!
Um dom, uma maldição, e uma tragédia familiar mais dramática que final de dorama com amnésia. 😮💨
Ela cresce reclusa, traumatizada (não penteia do cabelo) e anti-social até que… começam assassinatos misteriosos. E quem entra em cena? LEE SOO HYUK, o detetive com cara de vilão sexy, tiozão gostoso e “pai-solo” da sobrinha adolescente.🕵️♂️🔥
Ele encontra um óculos que também revela as tais linhas — e quase cai duro ao ver que tá mais conectado que Wi-Fi de shopping. Gente, é tanto fio vermelho que dava pra acender a cidade inteira. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
A premissa é tudo. Sexy sem ser vulgar. Um mistério meio sobrenatural, meio cômico, com altas possibilidades… pelo menos… na minha cabeça fértil 😈
MAS AÍ VEM O FINAL…
Sonho? Delírio coletivo? Multiverso da loucura? Ninguém entendeu. Nem os roteiristas, provavelmente. 😵💫
Ficou confuso, jogado, e com mais ponta solta que dorama que foi cortado no meio. E o pior: nenhuma cena do transante transando. Nem uma regatinha suada. Um desperdício de Lee Soo Hyuk. 🤡

déception
Les premiers épisodes sont exceptionnels. Une intrigue qui semble intéressante et des acteurs qui joue justes. Malheureusement, à partir de l'épisode 5 on va de déception en déception. On ne s'attend pas à une fin heureuse mais là, c'est une fin non heureuse mais surtout incomprise. On termine la série en ayant plein de questions en tête et aucune réponse. décevant. Buena trama, pero ... ¿ah?
Siendo sincera la vi por un titkok, pues me causo interes por la trama que no mucho se aborda en los k-dramas actuales, ademas, que estaba el actor que se me hizo guapo en el drama de Tomorrow je.Conforme iba viendo los capitulos, mas dudas tenia (si es que alguien lo entendio tiene libertdad de explicarmelo pls) ¿Qué ganaba la profesora con que todos pudieran ver las S-line? ¿Por qué las personas con los lentes se volvian locas al punto de querer matar a las personas quienes compartian una S-line? Con el capitulo final le pude dar como una respuesta, los lentes servia como medio de control por parte de la profesora a quienes lo llegan a tener, sin embargo, eso aumentó mi duda sobre el por qué hacia todo eso. Dejó mucho que desear en lo personal, pero al ser ficción creo mis demas dudas se resuelven por si solas jajaja.
