Very beautiful CGI, no unnecessary character death, every goal of the character is fulfilled.

Ji Bozai - Hou Minghao did a good portrayal of a complex character like Ji Bozai. A character that doesnt trust anyone but really loved to. As Hou Minghao said, Ji Bozai is not really hard to please just needed to show your loyalty and trust towards him. A selfish and selfless character at the same time. He is ready to sacrifice himself for Hexu Six Realm. Even though he was imprisoned and deceived in the Sunken Abyss, his experience did not turned him into a bad person. Very empathetic towards everyone, he still chose to forgive those who did him wrong.

Ming Yi - Lu Yuxiao also acted well, I have watched her before in My Journey To You and she did not disappoint. Honestly I do understand why Ming Yi lied to Ji Bozai as Hou Minghao analyze her character, she is a proud warrior, revealing her identity to her nemesis would be a hard punch to her ego as a warrior. She is also selfless character, always wanting to help everyone even though she knows the consequences of her action.

Overall the two of them have insane chemistry, I just don't understand those people who said they don't have any, like are we watching the same show? Both of them have insane face card and high understanding to their characters so they are able to play their character so well. The story line is okay to me, not so complex to understand and the flow of story is bearable, even though kinda draggy sometimes especially when there are unnecessary screen time of some characters but over all 10/10 for me.

OMG GUYSSSS THE DRAMA IS FINISHED ?? “Love in the Clouds” completely took over my life!!

Honestly, I’m stunned it concluded. From beginning to end, the tale flowed beautifully - the speed, feelings, each character getting their due. Not simply a typical fantasy show, instead a heartfelt exploration concerning devotion, affection, also giving up things for others.

Neo Hou delivered a stunning performance. He moved between serene composure then devastating heartbreak without missing a beat - it felt completely real. His eyes conveyed everything. I was a fan of Lu Yuxiao after seeing her in Serendipity, however, her performance as Ming Yi truly won me over. She brought such poise alongside an understated power to the character. Each time pain crossed her face, yet a smile bloomed anyway, it struck me. Watching her become strong - a journey from innocence to grit - felt like witnessing art.

She’s got Master She – genuinely a sweet soul. He’s looked after Ming Yi forever, quietly keeping watch like a silent protector. That steadfast dedication just gets to me. Not flashy displays, merely consistent kindness alongside deep affection.

Honestly, the devotion from Mu Qibai’s guard(omg I forgot his name😭😭😭) felt unreal. He even gave his life to help Mu Qibai succeed - it shattered me. Though labeled villains, their commitment struck a chord - a poignant display of affection. It showed me how fondness blooms even where shadows gather, alongside steadfast allegiance.

Honestly, Twenty-Seven just got to me. A total sweetheart - so devoted, I felt connected instantly. When he gave everything up for Ming Yi? Devastating. Tears flowed freely. It went beyond service, past simply following orders - he felt like one of us.

Bu Xi alongside Twenty-Seven? Honestly, a delightful pair. The way they connected felt so natural – playful arguments, gentle teasing, looking out for one another. Each shared moment simply shone. I kept rewinding scenes; seeing them together genuinely lifted my spirits.

Meng Ya Qiu? Seriously funny. He stumbled through everything with a smile, offering much-needed levity. Like when he figured out - inside a jail cell - that his boss was actually Lord Hanfeng all along? Tears streamed down my face, yet I grinned. He possessed a naive quality; somehow, even bleak moments seemed brighter because of him - a contrast I cherished.

Honestly, Situ Ling just broke my heart. I really believed he’d turn things around - instead, he went completely off the rails like Chu Zhao in that drama, Legend of the Female General. It stung, yet somehow felt right for someone so stubbornly sad.

Yan Xiao alongside Tian Ji - they simply fit. It wasn’t a flashy romance, instead woven with quiet kindnesses, each willing to give everything for the other. Seeing how Tian Ji prioritized Yan Xiao felt genuinely lovely.

THIS WASSS SOOO GOOD GUYS SOLID 9.5/10

Great watch!

I like a good story and this drama has it. The stand out for me is definitely the fantastic chemistry between two main leads. All round good performance from the cast, and I especially enjoyed Hou Ming Hao‘s acting here. OST are really nice as well. Definitely recommend watching this drama at least once.

JBZ and MY own my heart!

I enjoyed every moment of this drama. The chemistry between the leads was 🔥. The way they never hesitated to help or sacrifice for one another was top notch. I'm not usually a fan of miscommunication but inwas rooting for JBZ and MY so much that i was too invested to stop. Situ Ling did a great job as the villain. He kept on raising the bar on getting on my nerves. Glad it was a happy ending and we got to see the main leads trusting themselves.
I loved Grandma, 27, Buxiu, Master She, Tianji, Yan Xiao. I felt they were truly part of the story.

"I would brave any storm to save you.."

This is probably the top contender for my genuine favorite drama I have ever watched.
If your hesitating about watching this stop reading and go watch it right now, I promise you will not regret it.

Just to set the record straight I didn't read the novel before diving into this drama and had no prior knowledge.

This is genuinely one of my favorite dramas of all time in all aspects. Lets first talk about the storyline, its a perfect mix of angst, love, and laughter, I think thats also what made me fall so deeply in love with this drama. I experienced so many emotions watching this, cried with Mingyi, laughed with 27 and Master She, and so much more. There was also so many romantic scenes which made this even better. Acting wise this cast played everything off perfectly. Hou Minghao has gradually become one of my favorite actors after this drama, his acting has improved so much and lets not even talk about how good looking he is especially in this drama. Lu Yuxiao also did such a good job as Mingyi and her acting is so underrated. The chemistry between all the leads were insane. Okay now when I tell you this was one of the best OST's ive ever heard I mean it 100%. The intro song and both HMH and LYX OSTs I was playing while doing everything. I'm so in love with this OST its insane like I don't know if I will ever move on. Rewatch value 1000/10, this drama deserves all the hype and imo it deserves more. I have nothing bad to say about this drama at all, im in love with every one of the characters and I do not want to leave my parents Mingyi and Ji bozai behind. This was also the first drama I watched while it aired, so I stayed up until midnight every day waiting for the next episode, I hope this shows how good it was.

P.S. the ending with pictures of the cast during filming was so cute, I am so sad that its over and the pictures only make me not want to leave them behind even more. I've never felt so attached to a drama so maybe thats why I actually started tearing up when it ended.
P.P.S special shoutout to Yanxiao and Tianji they were so cute

Fated lovers in the clouds

This is what you ordered and that's what you get. I was sat for this drama before it aired and after completing the drama I'm glued on my sit 😅😅. I was not disappointed. My Mingzai sailed across the seas and even the far borders. They flew in the skies in between the clouds, their love cemented in the moon and the stars bearing witness. 🤗🤗🤗

All casts were absolutely gorgeous and outstanding 😍. They deserve awards for this drama. Special shoutout to Lu yuxiao. She nailed her character 👏

BEST PERFECT SHAMELESS COUPLE

This is the kind of drama that made me watch it from the very first day it aired until the very end without skipping a single episode! It’s been so long since I’ve followed a show this closely.

At first, the drama was so funny that I couldn’t stop laughing at their shameless actions. Usually, a drama that starts with so much laughter ends up being sad, but I still decided to keep watching till the end. And now that it’s finished airing, I’ve finished it too and it actually has a happy ending! Finally, a drama that truly made me feel it was worth following all the way through.

There’s one scene I remember is when Ming Yi gives Ji Bozai the sword she made. He kisses her, and she says, “Have you no shame?” That line instantly made me laugh because, honestly, since when did they ever have shame? 😂 They’ve always been so shameless with each other, and maybe that’s why, when they were apart, they didn’t even realize how much they missed that closeness.

Visuals, Acting, Character Depth,

I want to emphasise how amazing the cast have been, especially the leads. They've studied their character so well and really brought them to life. I can't say how much I appreciate HMH's input and improv for some scenes that fed into the yearning of the audience (female gaze oh myyyy)!

He's definitely talented and really cares about bringing out the best of Ji Bozai as someone who is ultimately selfless and would do anything to sacrifice himself for the "greater good" and Ming Yi. I love him as an actor and always look forward to these new characters he tackles - the results bear the fruit of his efforts. It's been mentioned somewhere he takes into consideration LYX's comfort too (I think the director asks LYX what she'd want to experience as a woman for moments that would make your heart flutter - then these ideas get conveyed to HMH, correct me if I'm wrong!).

LYX is also one of my favourite actresses and her crying T^T girl is too good at it, especially those eyes! She's very good at acting out these cute scenes, but also in gut-wrenching moments that really make you feel the pain she's experiencing. The scene where she's under the soul-seizing spell and in her limbo, after being abandoned by her own mother, that was so heart breaking to watch when she started shaking on the ground... like that did something to me. I do wish they could go into more of her glory days when she won all those tournaments for Yaoguang!

Not to mention, the intimate scenes in the series are the best I've ever seen in the entire C-Drama world. Unparalleled. Their chemistry is no joke, and off-screen they're quite comfortable with each other too. Can't keep count how many times I've replayed every kissing scene GAAAAH!

I've probably rewatched the episodes 3x while waiting for the final episodes to come out, and I can see myself rewatching this over and over again. I'm a sucker for angst but they make up so fast it got me weak. The best thing about this series is the misunderstandings get resolved quick and things don't drag on for too long!

For an idol drama(?) the main characters have depth and their own struggles which make you really love them both, there's no one to blame. It's very rare for me to not dislike even a tiniest bit of any main characters T^T

MY FIRST WUXIA AND IT WAS GOOD

it was fantastic!!! i haven't watched something with such pleasure and impatience for the next episodes in a long time.

the chemistry is chemistring, the main actors played their roles one hundred percent. in this short time, i really fell in love with Ming Yi and Ji Bozai!

i especially want to pay attention to the side characters: the princess and the physician, who captured my heart. this storyline was incredible 🫶🏻🫶🏻

it was also fun to watch Xun Ming, he's a goofy guy and a great friend. It was also fun to watch Xun Ming, he's a goofy guy and a great friend. and in general, all the secondary characters brought something interesting to the plot and together made a great picture.

i miss them already 🥹🥹🥹

I dont think i will ever get over them?

Have been anticipating this show for months now and it was so worth the wait. From the get go the chemistry between ji bozai and ming yi was electric. Lu Yu Xiao and Hou Ming Hao were the perfect choice for the casting. I dont think anyone other than them couldve done better and delivered the chemistry they did. Its one of those shows that sucks you in to the story and makes you forget about reality. I hope we see them again in another drama❤️‍🔥also the CGI was spectacular and seamless 🙏watching the action and fight scenes literally made mehold my breath. I can talk about this show till sunrise but all you have to know is that not watching it would be a shame. One of the best shows ive ever watched in a while and will always hold a special spot in my heart💗

Bound by Fate, Lifted by Love— A Promise Written in the Sky

Love in the Clouds is the first drama that truly convinced me to watch it while it was still airing — something I never do! Normally, I wait for a show to finish, but with LITC, I just couldn’t resist. The trailers, the clips, the spoilers — they all pulled me in, and I’m so glad they did because this drama did not disappoint me at all.

From the very beginning, I fell in love with the lead couple. Their chemistry is simply electric, and the emotions they conveyed felt so real and raw. I was already familiar with the female lead from MJTY, but the male lead was new to me. After watching the trailer, I ended up watching three of his previous dramas — and honestly, he didn’t disappoint in any of them. His performance in LITC completely captured my heart.

I can confidently say Love in the Clouds is one of my absolute favorite dramas of 2025. My expectations were sky-high, and it didn’t just meet them — it soared beyond them. The story, the acting, the direction — everything felt beautifully crafted and deeply emotional.

At its heart, LITC is about two souls longing for freedom and love above the rigid rules of the palace — a romance as delicate and fleeting as a drifting cloud. It’s a story of two lovers bound by duty and fate, yet brave enough to chase the sky together despite impossible odds.
A tale of a promise made under the heavens — fragile, eternal, and unforgettable.
