A fun and light hearted loving series
First let me start by saying i adored this series a lot. The actors were great and the leads chemistry was there. Its shows a lot about different types of people that are out going and people that are home bound and that both are ok and an mix beautifully. I was surprised at home much I enjoyed the series. The beginning takes a bit to get into especially with them not seeing each other in the first 5 episodes but when they finally meet in person the series turned around and was a lot of fun. I found my self laughing and crying at the tender moments and yet the pain and loss of the leads go through. It shows the ups and downs of friendship and relationship. This is a lovely series through from beginning to end. I was very happy to see the growth in all the character's. My only real down part was I wish that showed more of the growth for the side pairing of Game and Win, other then that was lots of fun and great moments.Was this review helpful to you?

Ultimate feelgood!
As soon as the theme song starts, my brain switches to 'happyfeels'. This is the most feelgood BL I've ever seen. Everything comes together. The main couple is incredibly sweet, but they manage to just stay on the right side of cringe. They balance each other out perfectly, both in the story as in their acting. The dramatic element is brought by balancing the difference between extroverted and introverted, an overly protective mom and the side couple, who had just enough screen time and had a very interesting story arc themselves.The show makes you feel like love is possible for everyone, as long as you allow for each other's differences and be open to each other. Love can enrich your life in ways you never imagined. This show goes on my re-watch list!

Sweet drama about dealing with introvert+extrovert relationships and misunderstandings
The casting was really good as both actors suit their roles well. The series is interesting as it shows an introverted persons struggles with wanting to fit in and find love but due to his negative experience this becomes difficult. His neighbour 'God' is very sweet and extremely understanding, he never pushes diaw too far out of his comfort zone and is a gentle and loving boyfriend. It is lovely to see introverted people get some representation in a more positive light.The problems with the show are the misunderstandings, I dont mind when shows have misunderstandings but i think it could have been handled better here. The misunderstanding was due to lack of experience in relationships which is understandable and also emotional maturity. They should have portrayed Gods character as sharing more about his background first before he complains about diaw not sharing his. This part could have been written better but overall its a good show and worth a watch. Its sweet and heart-warming.

Very great uplifting drama
This show is very very good. I am not a drama expert and I have my own taste, but if you are looking for a drama that have a good story, character having a background, not too heavy, but still there. I find the acting quite good, not the best I have seen but it was not terrible, the acting is good enough to not take you out of the watching. It's a simple storyline, but IMO they executed it well. Things are not too messy, but it is still interesting to watch. I don't think there is any part to "skip" personally I found them relevant. I think they represented well the introversion, as one myself I felt particularly connected to Diew. I rarely see my type of behaviour in a show so it was refreshing to see the focus on introversion and extraversion here. I recommend this title!Was this review helpful to you?
butterflies
This series is absolutely delightful—it’s calming and gives you that fluttery, butterfly feeling. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. I had no expectations going in, but it turned out to be an incredible rom-com. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment—the scenes, the expressions, the acting—all were fantastic. "Monster Next Door": To be young and to flourish feelings of passion
It is not my usual approach to writing reviews, especially when the series still airing. Still, after a lovely time watching the fourth chapter of this work, I am inclined to leave my candid sentiments and contemplations in this commentary.
These past months, I have been quite unhappy with the writing of some newly released series. It is an individual matter, truly. However, I see myself struggling to bear the tone in which these stories are portrayed, and certain production and directing choices that flatten the narrative. It is a matter of emptiness. Works that are supposed to depict love, friendship, and such heartfelt themes feel like nothing.
Taking this into consideration, I am delighted to note my thoughts on "Monster Next Door: EP4". There is a vibrant serenity in this show. It is truly a "nostalgia" of times that weren't that long ago, but the contrast of the web dramas of now and then certainly makes it feel like a century has already passed. "Monster Next Door" is a 2024 series, that resembles the first boy love dramas of past years; the foolish portrayal of young love, the everyday atmosphere of university, the awkwardness of the raw immature emotions of passion... To be in love in this phase of life, the youthful that blossoms, is a silent agreement to missteps, inexperienced sayings and actions, and vicarious embarrassment of oneself. It is not ever an enjoyable memory for the majority of us. But to bear a passion is that; this dreadful affair of sweet horror.
In wise choices, they decided to tell a tale of young love in such a way; that precious discovery of a new world that will never look as good as examined by the eyes that once weren't complete with memories. The story of Diew and God has been, until this moment, an ideal one, like that first memory of passion that kisses the mind every time we dare to think about it. Like the cold soft rainfall on a hot summer day; it soothes our mind. 'No work is flawless, like in life, everything has to have some wrinkled scar to make it truly appealing. "Monster Next Door" does not have a model screenplay that acclimates with the bigger part of the viewers. And for that, I allow myself pettiness and feel cheerful about it, because this sincere slice of life was what I longed for.
On a last word, the certain mood of the whole drama makes me think about a song, that I dedicate to the ending of this review.

A proper title with a drama that represents what we live in.
Today I finished this drama and I feel a strange feeling I don't know why but the drama of boys' love is smooth and comfortable, it is not boring or annoying, its special character is comfortable for the viewer, the flow of events and the feelings contained in the episodes, the feelings of the main and secondary heroes are comfortable, the way it develops between them, how they describe their feelings without speaking is wonderful, I liked how the drama shows that the things that you do not expect to happen to you will happen to you without planning and also how to talk and express your feelings without planning for any expectations from the other parties, I loved it very much, I recommend watching itWas this review helpful to you?

overall: 9.5/10such understanding parts when it comes to being alone and different in the outside world and that it's okay to be quiet but interfering with people you've seen is like seeing someone you don't even like outside and that he choose to be with his pet khun sky which is reasonable since being in a relationship that did go well as a introvert just doesn't fit well when they want to make you change but after you meet the "right person right time" it comes to a strong romantic connect.

Actually a very cute show
Okay, so I am changing the way I do ratings because the other was lowkey boring (I lied I am not). The drama gets an 8.916 out of 10 for me, so I will round that to a 9 out of 10. Overall it was pretty good and a nice cute watch.Monster Next Door, it was a romance, and yeah. (THE ACTORS HAVE A 7-YEAR AGE GAP IN REAL LIFE). I know one of the actors from Two Moons the Ambassador and the other one from Big Dragon and Step by Step, but seeing them together was new and I didn't hate it actually.
So the plot follows Diew a first-year who is an introvert and god is his next-door neighbor who is a third year (and for some reason in freshmen dorms) and an extrovert. They start by talking over their balconies and then more stuff happens and then they fall in love, yay! I think that they did the plot pretty well, I think it was an interesting premise done pretty well. The tone was lighthearted and fun and I genuinely did enjoy it. I saw a lot of good things about him and they were justified because it's a cute watch and not really much of a thinker. I think they did the pacing really nice and it was a slow burn but didn't feel like it if that makes sense. It had this joking nostalgic vibe to it while also adding its own twist to things.
Let's break it down by episode because I waited way too long to write this lmao. I started making edits of Thai actors and I can't stop. This was such a good show bro. The first year and third year in the same dorm room were wack but that's fine. The dynamic was pretty nice and i liked it a lot not gonna lie. And i dont know what the fuck a midnight solitary is but that's nice.
Back with their dynamic, i love the extroverted x introverted trope. God is just such a good guy and he lights up the room and i really need someone like that. The vibe of the show was just a nice break and it was nothing special but that's what made it nice. Turtles scare me so much. I love the blonde hair on the actor who plays diew, i saw him in another show and i like the blonde brings out his features so much better. The actor who plays god, big (only know that because i made an edit of him) is so handsome and i cant explain it. uh introducing whatever beer and wan have going on, i wish they developed them more because i feel like they didn't do anything with but did so much at the same time. This show also had me freaking out about college because holy fuck, what is my roommate is like wan? Uh we could tell right off the bat that beer and wan had tension, they just got a really shitty plot. Friends from the moon, the shity ass band that was so not relevant but a nice plot deviation.
One thing i didnt like, i had to pay for Wetv bro. Yeah the man singer in the band was the only good villain in this and he wasnt even that good of a villain, he just didn't like god at all and it never got better and he only tolerated him because their boyfriends were friends. But gods freinds were opps lmao. Also, God balling out with his fucking wingspan (he's 6'2 its on his instagram), he is so fine. I also am a INTJ Architect, which i dont know what that means but i took the mbi thing.
God's characters was one of the best because he was just really nice guy and it was just really well done. And i talked bout how he gives off daddy energy which i still stand by lmao. God wanted Diew so bad. The way his expression changed when he saw diew, oh my god bro i want him. And that daddy dom energy continues because holy fuck.
Also uh jane. I fucking hate her and they didnt develop her villian at all and i just felt like she was still a villain even though she had a shity apology. everything about the villains, they were so many one off's that had no fucking point at all. and the confession bit felt very awkward.
God's face is so expressional that i can tell everything and him when jane came in and he is just like giving that off vibe which we see more later but he is so damn jealous and its lowkey sexy till the end but we will get to that. "Change for the better is good, but if the change is affecting your mental health and self esteem, then that's not good change." me bro. uh this was diew and his pedo ass ex and i think that was the moral of the story and it was pretty good.
The titles on wetv for the different episodes was cute. Win and God are the same person just different fonts. They had such good chemistry, it was crazy. Just their whole everything fuck they are so cute.
The first year third shit continued to lay heavy in my mind because what the hell. the angel devil shit was so funny and very cute. It just adds to the charm so much. I still dont know why he had the picture of his ex bro, that was pissing me off. Gof is the only man you need. His back is big enough to help you with all of your problems. like not big back big back but that physically. Fuck he needed to take his shirt off more. Wan and beer was such a case of weaponized incompetence and i hate when shows do that. and then i started thinking about the ex bro. The ex is done with vet school. VET SCHOOL. wait i just asked my friends who wants to be a vet and that is 4 extra years of school on top of the 4, so thats 8. and they were dating when he as in high school, so do the math on that, that is pedo. "You're jealous, but you should be calling the police." I said they werent going to touch on the jealous but they did, and they fucking ran with it. It was like crazy jealous and it was very weird.
He resented his mom and i think they should play into it more. They did so muh better on this and t was one of my favorite parts on his bro. He loved his dad a lot and his mom was a hands off parent, thats why he resented her so much. "Diew is uncomfortable because God‘s treating him like a baby, but it’s not necessarily being treated like a baby. It’s just a way of showing love, but he wouldn’t know that because his ex is a pedophile who said that" I liked how the show showcased that bro. "That “babe” or “teerak” made me feel things I didn’t know I needed to be felt. Daddy who? Oh, my fuck. It's been like 10 minutes and I keep going back." I am so in love with god is crazy, gonna rewatch this episode. The sex scene i am remembering that now bro it was so great bro.
The whole jealousy thing. "I understand both of their sides completely. They are both the same in the aspect of they don’t tell each other things directly. God is a terrible boyfriend. He is scared of this guy and you are gonna let jealousy blind you." God was being so annoying and lowkey really toxic, it was insane. like i love him but it was like a what the fuck. it was like a holy shit, he got toxic so fast and hes a big bitch so it was scary.
"God is a fucking crash out because this snowballed so fast." CRASH OUT BRO, BECAUSE WHAT THE HELL. "God and Diew have made up. Wan and Beer are being weird and having a conversation shirtless in their room. You can never go back to a normal friendship after a confession. This is why people keep their emotions bottled up. "Can you kiss me?" Nah we are gonna make out again. You can never go back and it is a damn shame, but that friendship will never be the same no matter how much you try. I love hugs in dramas, i wished they did these more. They are so cute. It brings me some much joy. Romantic hugs are just perfect. They are freaks and I could just tell from the start. I still love their dynamic to bits. Why did he take his shirt off so fast? Moring kiss. with your shirt off yeah fucking right. FUCCKKKKKK. FORGOT ABOOUT HER. For once i do not know what you should do."
"Actually forgot about his mom and there is no way to dig yourself out of the hole you are now in. The mom is unintentionally putting his son in a bubble and making him resent her. This is what my mom is doing as well and when i get to college i will finally be free. Talk about turtles, have sex, wish God would beat me like he beats the drums, normal couple stuff. God going into auto-protect mode is so sexy. I would touch that sweaty back any day of the week, just saying. I love the parallels. Love the parallels. One thing this show had was a lot of one off villians, which was weird.They resolved like one of them and the other ones just didnt get resolved. Awe. That was actually really cute."
This was a really cute show and i am going to watch this shit again. i would recommend this. Okay bye!

Why was this show so perfect?
Okay, so I know some will say this was boring and nothing really happened but literally so much happened! This was a beautifully told character driven show about over coming personally and emotional obstacles in order to grow not only for yourself but for the people in your life. The characters and conflicts were so incredibly realistic and relatable that it has been impossible for me to stop thinking about them. I related to Diew so much and I could see myself in his character. The time he took to open up to God and to feel comfortable was so amazing, I really like that nothing about it was instant. The characters, both Diew and God, took their time getting to know one another and really developing their trust for one another. I was able to understand the conflict from both characters points of view. It was very well acted and I hope these actors have many more projects in the future.Was this review helpful to you?

Simple, Lovely, Golden Retriever
Monster Next Door is probably one of the sweetest thing that I have watched. I know and you can clock me on this one but I am a sucker with a good love story that does not overly dramaticize or sensationalize stuff but instead they are trying to just be as normal as they can. This is why I really loved it. Basically, the story of the show follows Diew who is the stereotypical example of Introvert and God who is a stereotypical example of an extrovert. They fell in love with each other with the efforts of God to really push himself to be loved by Diew. I think we can say that it is a love at first sight and the romance is more or less what we can consider to be easy because they are already felt something towards each other but the main hindrance to their relationship is their difference in personality. We have a character who is more comfortable with speaking and I really understand this character so much but I think what I love with the character is that even though they marketed him as a stereotypical introvert, we also got to see a different side to the character as he is trying his best to really relate to the people around him. I think this is a big plus because we need this kind of representation that they may prefer to be alone but there are also those who seeks comfort in the people that they are close with. This is why I love that he is given a friend with Game who is also an introvert but is more flexible. I applaud that they did not just make him a stereotype and made him into a more realized character. He is played by Park Anantadej Sodsee or Park. I was actually trying to figure out his character as well but we got to really see him shine in the moments that are more quiet. I have to give it to him because he was able to show range with his facial expressions with a character that is usually not speaking. Then, there is Big Thanakorn Kuljarassombat or Big who plays God. First and foremost, I already have a huge crush of this guy even before I watched this series so I am so happy that I get to see him as a lead character. He really deserved it and I was so proud for some weird reason because he was good. He is a golden retriever in this show and I love that he really tried to understand Diew and he is not just forcing him to follow his values or his ways. I respect that. Seriously, I think I have watched stories where the introvert had to adjust to the extrovert but they really decided to slowly let each other into their lives without changing who they are. This is the main thing that the show is doing and I love that they did not try to overly complicate such thing and instead just focused on the romance that we are supposed to watch and it worked. I loved their interactions as they try to understand each other better. They are respecting their boundaries and even though they had a big fight in the show, I will have to say that I am glad that the directors and the writers did not make it into something so much bigger that they cannot resolve in one episode or just by talking, they had to separate for awhile but they are trying their best to respect each other’s boundaries and to not let their emotions get the best of them so when they talked, they felt more honest and mature with each other. I LOVE THAT. Also, I love Big so much as God. I mean, the guy is the most attractive human being with that fucking smile that will just make me swoon. The body, PERFECTION. He is so perfect for the role and it worked so well. The secondary characters are okay. I think this is where the miss is a bit. They really focused on the main characters and the secondary characters are not given stronger narratives except for the secondary couple. Wan and Beer are okay but I was happier to see Game and Win so much. Win is just so cute and I would not mind if they will have their own BL series. I will watch it in a heartbeat. I really enjoyed watching this BL because the pacing is good and the story is easy to watch. I like that we got really good sweet moments in between that really accentuate the love they have for each other. I love that there is good character development for the main characters not just as a couple but also as individuals as they are trying to also fully accept who they are and what they are for each other. No Monster here! Just Turtle.
I had been waiting for this drama last year. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was different than the plot/trailer I watched.The turtle situation was a bit annoying the first half of the series. Mostly because they really really focused on that turtle guys personality and did not let up. But I swear this drama changed my perspective. It made me more tolerant and I got what they were trying to do.
After they started getting into the whole point of the drama I was like "Oh, I get it.". We are not judging, we are listening and trying to understand.
I absolutely loved it. I loved their very different personalities, I love how they did what they wanted seperate and stuff together, I loved that they truly accepted one another. It was great.
I've re-watched it a couple of times and I will re-watch it more.
