A successful movie director in his 60s falls ill while working on his latest project. Although his family and friends try to keep his terminal cancer diagnosis from him it eventually becomes too obvious to hide any longer. When the gravity of the situations first dawns on him he becomes angry and lashes out at both hospital staff and wife, but over time he comes to grips with his situation. Deciding not to die in a hospital bed on life support, he chooses to instead leave to finish his film and make his final days the best of his life, surrounded by everyone he loves. Edit Translation
