The Judge from Hell Episode 1 Reactions
One can easily identify from the first episode if a Kdrama is going to be a masterpiece, and since Ahin Hye is acting it is already a guaranteed great piece of work. I totally loved it, the VFX and all, Hell, Gehenna, and all the characters with scars or cracks on their faces or neck, fascinating. 10/10

Thoughts:I've been fond of the main actress since "You are Beautiful". Great that she's still acting.Beautiful cinematography, actor visuals, and solid emotional performances.The CGI was pretty crummy, but deliberately cheesy so that it was fine. I just fast-forwarded through it.Poor writing - why would the supernaturally appointed judge be lax, and unable to have the powers to see the truth in order to make their judgements? How are they any different from any other demon, or an earthly judge then? This could end up being a plot point - that the demons are just as arbitrary as humans.But it just felt like the least effort in writing this world.I get that they're deliberately setting it up to give her a character arc by showing her grow to care about people. The doctor panel is a bot odd. The way they're all confident and laughing makes it seem like she's delivering a test - they all know that she's lying, but they have to prove it?But then they keep flashing back to it. So that's a strange set up.I like that she's a demon who isn't invested in people. But sometimes the acting seems a bit obvious. The close up and the obvious smirk.Sometimes the violence scenes felt like it was a revenge porn viewing experience for those who had experienced DV.

I like the Female Lead attitude. The scene with the kids is hilarious. It will be interesting on how her character evolves.

In my opinion, The Judge from Hell is a captivating series that cleverly intertwines themes of justice and the supernatural. The premise of Judge Kang Bitna being condemned to Hell by a spiteful deity is both intriguing and unique, making for an engaging start. Pacing and Plot Points were ? Wouldve loved to actually see her send the bad guy to hell in episode 1.

I just saw the episode. The entry of Park Shin Hye is super I loved it. Her acting is another but I like to see her villain side. I hope the upcoming episode will be amazing.
