Expectations more than exceeded.

I can't stop saying this, but this drama keeps surprising me. It’s moved far beyond that predictable romance between a human and a demonic entity, offering a well-crafted storyline where every scene fits perfectly into the bigger picture. The sexual tension between the protagonists—or whatever you want to call that overwhelming connection—is intense and works brilliantly on screen. Credit goes to both actors: the way their characters long for each other is almost palpable. Now, as for the anti-heroine, she’s a fascinating character who masterfully balances her comedic side with her dark, more sinister moments. She’s layered, engaging, and knows how to fully embrace her villainous side when needed. I also have to mention Kim Jae Young—he was born to be a leading man. He has a rare kind of magnetism, and above all, his facial expressions perfectly capture the wide range of emotions that many actors don’t even attempt to convey. As we head into the final stretch, I can’t shake the feeling that the drama has only just begun. Without a doubt, this is one of the best shows of the second half of the year.
