Outstanding GL with high performance leads
Saying that I’m obsessed with this show is minimising the impact it has on my brain.I’ll start by saying that I DON’T LIKE CHAO PLANOY’S adaptations (haven’t red any novels) because they have so many toxic and poorly written characters.
But this one took me off guard.
First of all, just so you know, this is one of the few GLs out there (at least so far) where the two leads (Namtan Tipnaree and Film Rachanun) have a pretty solid background in the industry and had many main lead roles in straight shows, and they have been professional in each of them.
GMMTV combined two strong women with completely opposite personality irl and they are absolute fire together.
On a professional level, the actresses (esp Film at the very beginning when the Pilot trailer was released) were very shy around each other, but they requested to have workshops even before filming, while they were filming a straight show (in which they also starred together “Ploy’s yearbook” but they were “enemies”) so that they could build up the chemistry and get rid of the shyness during working. And they succeeded marvellously.
They are still a bit shy around each other but when they act together you doubt they are not lovers in reality, meaning they are high performers in what they do.
Not to mention they cried when they watched the official trailer for the first time, they really care about the project.
So given that, they are (at least to me) the best in acting I’ve seen in a GL so far, their characters even if they are not green flags, are very compelling and honestly well crafted.
Snap25, the company producing this show, has done an amazing job with the dialogues, twists (so many, like every episode you have more questions than the previous one, but it keeps you HOOKED) and the main love story.
The two main characters May Metawee and Ai-Oon are just two broken souls who are desperate to be loved and loving someone. Their relationship (although is packed with lies and secrets for now) is a slow process of falling in love and understanding of each others.
We all know it will have an happy ending because it’s Chao’s novel and GLs are still new so they wouldn’t dare not to give it to us. Meaning that the two main characters are falling in love and they will overcome all the obstacles and lies surrounding them.
The story is flawing, the twists are exciting to see, the love May and Oon are having is so soft it melts your heart and the two leads are just incredibly professional.
It’s a lethal mix that I personally found myself drown to.
I recommend everyone to give it a go, despite the fact that none of the characters are green flags but they are well written.

Watched this after spotted Girls Rule
After watched Girls Rule and found out the Main Lead's pair got acted on another GL series, I invested my time to watch Pluto, and it was worth it.It brought different vibe and style compared to Girls Rule and so far, compared to other Thai GL's series I think their act are the most natural, not over exaggerated, and blended with the characters.
Thumb up for GMMTV
Looking forward to more of their works ahead.

The Best GL so far
Okay so I started watching Thai GLs in 2024 before I watched pluto I have already finished watching Gap, Blank, 23.5, Love senior, Love Bully, My Marvellous Dream is You, The Secret of Us and Affair. What I have to say is that I loved all of the GLs that I mentioned, however Pluto outshines all of them (in my opinion). It probably is due to the fact that this is my type of show, it is messy, the characters are all flawed, a lot of drama but NOT and I emphasize this NOT toxic characters (like in others where one of the girls SA 's the other one or any non consentual stuff). Anyway so far not any GL has topped this one for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Ice Cream - f(x)
This is probably the best gl series ever, I can't even make ts up. The story is so good; I read the book and kind of wish there were some parts from the book into the series, which they did in a way, but just certain parts. The acting is genuinely the greatest thing ever, no kizz. The way Namtan is able to perform twins just shows how good her acting. The way I can tell who's Oom and who's Ai is just crazy because irl i can't even tell my friends apart sometimes. Same goes towards Film, I truly believed she was blind and she is such a cutie as well. The series itself is perfect, the music, acting, story, it is all so perfect. I just rewatched it again and it's just good. I think this was the first gl series (not just thai gl) where I was locked in and didn't get cringed out plus no weird scenes or anyone getting taken advantaged of. It's ranked high for a reason, truly so beautiful and can not wait for more projects. I love you NamtanFilm. Also I lowks cried a lot because their acting was just too good, especially Film's in that one scene. Was this review helpful to you?
Pluto – Exactly the kind of art I want to continue watching.
Pluto is one of those GL titles that completely stopped me in my tracks. I genuinely couldn’t get over it for days. The acting, the atmosphere, the setting – and especially the chemistry between Namtan and Film – took my breath away. What impressed me the most was the story itself. It feels truly unique, something I haven’t seen in the GL genre before. It’s the kind of series that made me think, “Wow, I’ve never seen anything like this, and I need to watch it straight through until the end.” When I finished it, I had that familiar emptiness, wondering what I’m supposed to do with myself now that it’s over.
I also deeply appreciated that Ai-oon (Namtan) leans more masc, making the dynamic fresh instead of the usual fem x fem pairing. And honestly, the acting deserves all the praise – playing a dual role or portraying a blind character is incredibly difficult, and they delivered beautifully.
And the intimate scenes… stunning. Not cheap or exaggerated, but emotional, tender, and filmed with so much care. They genuinely touched me. I’m grateful to everyone involved in creating Pluto, because this is exactly the kind of artistry I want to keep watching.

My first GL
Oboom asks her twin sister Aioon to breakup with her other partner so she can go on her honeymoon with her new husband (she owes her a favour), she refuses but since Oboom gets into a coma she decides to do it. Her other partner turns out to be a rich blind woman.I love the representation of blindness I feel like the actress did a very good job. This series was really try not to feel bad for everyone challenge. Like no one is a villian, I have sympathy for all of them. Unemployed main lead with bad jobs that constantly thinks they’re bad at everything and wants to be a writer… wait is she me? These characters are so complex it’s crazy.
I feel like the runtime is too long. The pacing is weird asf it’s too long and then some parts I want more of but never get.

Pluto is everything
Pluto is my favorite Girls' Love series, in many ways. I always wanted to read and watch a romance involving twin sisters, and Pluto delivers exactly that, plus there's the complexity of the sisters' love interest being blind and initially confusing them and start dating the "wrong" one.I confess that I also made the mistake of reading the novel; it's not that bad, but the series made everything a thousand times better and improved problematics points from the novel.
Not to mention that Namtan and Film's acting was perfect! I love them and how excellent actresses they are...which makes everything better!
I loved watching every episode. I have a soft spot for episode three too, in which they have a sincere conversation about family, how they feel being an outsider, where May, Film's character, says, "You know, apart from being blind, I wish I could be deaf too, just to shut myself off from everything." It really gets to me.
An emotional and sincere scene.
Another scene that isn't talked about as much is the episode where Ai-oon talks to her friend Ben about loving May. I cried like a child here Emotional and sad. An then there is episode eleven...
Anyway, there are many scenes, and the last episodes are impossible not to cry over.
And despite that, it's also a comforting series. I've watched it more than once and I feel like I always want to watch it again whenever I have time.

Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster
Pluto was like my third Thai gl and after the first two I didn't think I could love a pairing as much as my main but let me tell you NamtanFilm gave them a run for their money. This GL made me laugh, cry, get angry and root for the red flags. 10 on 10 would recommend. It starts slow but soon enough you get sucked in the story and the plot. The scenery is perfect and since I've watched it I can't seem to get it out of my head. after many other GLs I can still say Pluto is in my top 3 of my fav GL.Was this review helpful to you?

What are you waiting for? Go watch it now.
I absolutely love this series. They delve into the experience of people with disabilities and how the world is not shaped or designed to accommodate their most basic needs. Tactile grounds surface indicators or as I described it so ineloquently braille path guides.
The acting from Namtan playing a twin - absolutely smashed it.
Film was greatttt pretending not to see Namtan cry omg she's just great too
Loved the story and lessons behind it.
10/10 would rewatch.

What makes Pluto truly special is its strong character development. Each character is well-written, with their own motivations, backstories, and emotional struggles. The actors deliver outstanding performances, particularly in emotionally charged scenes, where subtle expressions and genuine chemistry bring the story to life. The relationships between the characters feel natural and complex, drawing viewers further into their world.
Visually, the series is beautifully shot. The cinematography is elegant and often symbolic, using color and framing to reflect the emotional tone of each scene. Combined with a haunting and memorable soundtrack, the atmosphere becomes immersive and deeply engaging.
Beyond its entertainment value, Pluto explores meaningful themes such as identity, loss, friendship, and personal growth. It invites viewers to reflect on the choices people make in difficult situations and how they shape who we become.
Overall, Pluto is a must-watch for fans of thoughtful drama with a touch of mystery. It proves that Thai series can compete on a global level in terms of storytelling, acting, and production quality. Whether you’re new to Thai dramas or a longtime fan, Pluto offers an unforgettable viewing experience that leaves a lasting impression.
