You'll miss them a minute after episode 24 ends

I really enjoyed The Early Spring. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after a few episodes I was completely into the story. It’s one of those series that slowly pulls you in, and before you know it, you’re really invested in the characters and what happens to them.

The main characters are definitely one of the best things about the series, although they can also be a little frustrating at times. She can be too obsessed with her career and professional success, to the point where it sometimes feels like her work comes before everything else. I understood her ambition, but there were moments when I wanted her to just relax and enjoy her life a little more.

He is almost the complete opposite. He can be extremely cold, distant and individualistic. At some points, I even wondered if there was something else behind the way he behaved because he seemed to have so much difficulty understanding or expressing emotions. But as the story progresses, it becomes clearer that his personality is largely the result of his enormous success in business. He is so used to being successful, independent and getting what he wants that he can come across as quite arrogant and even a little full of himself.

That contrast between them is actually what makes their relationship interesting. They are both very strong-minded people, but they approach life in completely different ways. Watching them slowly understand each other and change because of their relationship was one of my favourite parts of the series.

I also really liked the script. The conversations generally feel natural, and the story gives the characters enough time to develop instead of rushing everything. Some situations are a bit predictable, but I didn’t really mind because I was still interested in seeing how they would deal with them.

Another thing I loved was the atmosphere. The series looks beautiful, and the music works really well with the story, especially during the more emotional scenes. It has a warm and cosy feeling that makes it very easy to get absorbed in the world of the series.

Of course, it isn’t perfect. Some parts are a little slow, and I think some of the secondary characters could have been developed more. There are also moments when the main characters’ personalities become a little exaggerated. However, I think their flaws also make them more interesting and believable.

Overall, I’d give The Early Spring a 9/10. It has a good story, strong chemistry between the main characters, beautiful visuals and plenty of emotional moments. Even though the two main characters can be frustrating at times, that’s also part of what makes their relationship so interesting. I definitely enjoyed watching their journey and would recommend the series if you like romantic, emotional and character-driven stories.

A bit flat

Okay, so I’m writing this review as someone who actually read the book, because I think that makes a pretty big difference here.

I completely understand why they made Luan Nian nicer in the TV adaptation. In the book, he can honestly be kind of an as*h*le, and I can understand wanting to soften his character for the drama. But I think they’ve taken it a little too far.

He’s too nice now, and honestly, I think it makes the story flatter.

One of the things I really liked about the book was that you could understand the huge breakup. You understood where the story was going, why things were happening, and ultimately why their relationship fell apart. Luan Nian was the one with the communication problems. He was closed off, emotionally distant, and unwilling to really let Shang Zhitao into his life. And you can actually see him slowly opening up — unfortunately, by the time he does, she’s already emotionally moving in the opposite direction.

In the drama, though, they’ve changed so much of that dynamic that it almost feels like Shang Zhitao is the one who struggles to communicate and is the problem in the relationship.

For example, in the drama, he introduces her to his friends and is very open about her. In the book, she basically never meets his friends. They don’t really socialize outside of their Fridays and weekends together, and that distance is actually important to the story. You can see him slowly changing, which makes the relationship — and eventually the breakup — much more meaningful.

Here, there’s barely any evolution because he’s already open and affectionate from the beginning.

So instead of watching two people gradually learn how to be together, it kind of feels like we’re just watching two awkward people being awkward together 😂

And honestly, I’m finding myself much less invested than I thought I would be.

I’m not saying they needed to make Luan Nian exactly like he is in the book. I actually understand why they softened him. But they softened him so much that they also changed the entire dynamic of the story, and I’m not sure the adaptation is better for it.

The drama is not good

The 10 Reasons Why The Early Spring is an ordinary, unrealistic, baseless, and one-dimensional drama! This is based on various Chinese entertainment videos that I watched in the U. S. that discussed about the current C-ent dramas, etc. This is not saying anything about the actor or actress real real life, their real issues, etc. Although I do not find Jing Bo Ran as good looking, charming and/or better acting than Xu Kai Cheng in Well-Intended Love I and II. This article is about the drama itself and my perspectives about Jing Bo Ran and Sun Qian's role as Luke and Flora and what I think of their acting performance. I think Sun Qian is better looking, better acting, etc. As a 45 years old Asian female who is currently living in the U. S. since 1990s, I have watched Chinese-speaking dramas from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and China since 1990s and have seen this evolvement into baseless, unrealistic, mediocre web drama about work place and mixing romantic issues for certain niche market.

I don't get paid or anything to write this article. This is from my authentic personal opinions after watching various C-ent videos in English discussing about the drama, clips on weibo mobile app to see what the romance and acting are about, the sypnosis, etc.

I believe that there are many people who are looking for dramas to watch all over the world so they're checking it out so people are attracted to light dramas, etc.

1) This is written from a web novel so the same repackaging and by screenwriters who are interested in commercializing the drama without any sense of the real world. Same old thing about CEO lacking EQ toward the female so it's one dimensional. Why do 45 years old women are interested in this about boss when his social issue is about toward love, which is personal subjective opinions. I believe 45 years old women who are working would be more interesting in office issues. Lacking social issues toward an individual that Luke likes does not mean that he lacks social skill. How can someone lack social skill can run an advertising firm?

2) This drama is about the advertising industry, which is an industry in decline. Luke, the character played by Jing Bo Ran wears clothing as if the company rakes in a lot of money like an investment banker or high-end law firm. It would be more realistic if this office setting take place in a marketing firm of a larger company. Even in the U. S., the advertising industry is in decline. Companies have internal marketing department nowadays more.

3) As for Luke's EQ of helping Flora getting better paid, overtime, etc. The adverting industry is not a blue-collar industry. It's a professional services industry so overtime is not something that the ad industry would offer, which is in major cities, etc. This is why all kinds of web writer and screenwriters are working within their exclusive groups who know no real world, thinking they can replicate the same formula, etc. without any reality, human relationship issues, etc. Also, the ad industry is not a sales and commission job unless the job is a sales job so a person would have to wait until the end of the year to get a bonus if there are revenues. Also, the manager would have to see visibility for next year's revenue to give some bonus at the end of the year. If Flora or any employee is on a trial for work, then after 6 months, it can be reevaluated for compensation, etc. Or otherwise, entry-level jobs generally starts out the same fixed salary with potential bonus at the end of the year for the industry. Flora is his girlfriend and he is her boss so there is potential conflicts of interests. Also, if you're paying someone more, then what other people who also put in the work and want better pay.

4. I believe this kind of drama is bad for young women because why would someone hire you and then say you're not qualified to work there. If you watch The Devil Wears Prada, the editor is also tough so it's best not to over exaggerate these kinds of words. How many of you in these regular admin jobs are actually the best and brightest?

Also, Youku marketed the sypnosis of this drama on MDL and on Youku's platform is not the same. On Youku's sypnosis started with "The forbidden love..." There's nothing forbidden love about this.

6) If people are saying they're working hard, how come people have time to watch these dramas on a daily basis when the episodes are released. I also noticed that many women who are watching this are in comfortable admin job with their laptops with the couple on their screenshot. If you're complaining about your fat and/or low EQ bosses, then how come you still have time to watch this drama, which should not be your priority? In Japan, employees would wait for their managers to go home and then go home, which is a horrible culture that I do not believe China has. Also, there are woman in China making more than 2M Yuan!

7) This is not a good drama for young men to watch because it's not realistic, one-dimensional, etc. when it comes to how to help women with their pay, etc. It's popular in less developed and/or traditional countries like China, all parts of Asia and some parts of Europe but not the U. S. or western democratic Europe. If you want to watch for some light romantic parts when they're in private, then it's fine. I already watched some of them on weibo mobile apps, then watch for that only. There are scenes like Flora helping with his shaving, etc., which is something you already know. The kisses are not any better than Ten Years Late, Got a Crush on You or other dramas from other actors or actresses, etc.

8) I believe Youku belonged to Alibaba and is much a bigger company than 10 years ago, etc. so the people who work on these dramas are the same web writers, screenwriters, producers, etc. so they can also subscribe on Netflix, then Netflix would pay them a nice licensing fee, but Netflix is only 2.4M views because they cannot make other people who is not getting paid in any form or shape to watch a drama. Other people are looking for a drama to watch so they look at dramas all over the world, and the number of views is an easy metric to go by. The same with Tencent too. The same issue with bs writer unions that cannot produce a decent screenplay!

9) As for fashion, trying to do a v-shape, the actor is not as attractive, and he's not that big so having wearing overfit clothing is kind of out of shape, etc. I am sure men would not wear tight clothing, but wearing overfit clothing can look cumbersome when you have to work around to do business, etc. Also, the industry is not doing well even the in the U. S. so how come he's wearing clothing as a high-end investment banker so then, how come he would have money to pay his employees if he's wearing really expensive clothing!

10) This article has nothing about the actors' lives, etc. and about their roles in The Early Spring and their acting abilities based on my authentic subjective perspectives.

RELACIONAMENTO REAL

Esse foi o drama que melhor retratou um relacionamento de verdade: pessoas imperfeitas, com limitações, mas que, no fundo, ainda se amam.

Nenhum outro drama teve a sensibilidade de trazer para o público a realidade dura e crua de uma relação. No fim, a gente percebe que não existe relacionamento perfeito. Um relacionamento é feito de duas pessoas tentando fazer dar certo, é uma via de mão dupla.

Esse drama mostrou como a falta de diálogo abre espaço para mal-entendidos e suposições, e como a falta de cordialidade nas palavras pode machucar mais do que uma dor física.

O drama abordou vários temas que fazem parte de uma relação verdadeira e mostrou, de uma forma muito realista, os desafios, as falhas, os sentimentos e as tentativas de duas pessoas que ainda se amam.

Amei tudo! A atuação foi impecável e, principalmente, A OST! OST MARAVILHOSA. ❤️

Para mim, 10/10.

Péssimo!

Esse drama começou interessante, mas a medida dos episódios, foi ficando cansativo e desgastante, assim como o relacionamento dos protagonistas.

Dois personagens que possuem dificuldades em se expressar. Um deles é tóxico, enquanto a outra carece de autoestima.

Flora passou por um processo de crescimento e desenvolvimento pessoal, embora ainda sim, apresentasse muitas falhas.
Em contrapartida, Luke não mudou nada, ele não tem nada de complexo, é apenas arrogante e babaca. Contudo, apenas dois episódios com ele demonstrando emoção foram suficientes para fazer esquecer todo o resto.

O relacionamento deles não é de superação e nem segundas chances, é disfuncional. E tudo foi solucionado com algumas lágrimas e afastamento, quando o que realmente precisavam era de uma terapia.

O final foi apressado; dedicaram muito tempo a questões sem importância, poderiam ter gerido melhor o ritmo dos episódios.
Os atores possuem uma grande química, isso é inegável. A trilha sonora é excepcional, emociona em muitos momentos , mas o drama perdeu seu ritmo, apresentando um roteiro bem mediano, irrealista e final clichê.

THE EARLY SPRING (PRIMAVERA ANTECIPADA)

A produção entrega uma estética visual impecável e um ritmo dinâmico que prende o espectador desde o primeiro minuto, retratando o universo da publicidade com um realismo maduro e envolvente. O coração da série, contudo, pulsa na química avassaladora entre Luke Luan (Jing Boran) e Flora Shang (Sun Qian). A eletricidade e a intensidade magnética desse casal são tão fortes que sustentam o vício do público e elevam a obra a um patamar superior, justificando com folga a sólida nota 9.No entanto, o 10 perfeito não vem por causa de um deslize grave de roteiro na construção moral dos protagonistas, pois quem assistiu o drama sem ficar fazendo comparação com a novel vê que o Luke não era escroto. teve semelhança porém não identifica a novel. A narrativa insiste em tentar fazer o público engolir que Luke é o "escroto" da história. Embora comece como um chefe frio e exigente, ele evolui, abre mão de suas defesas e se mostra um parceiro maduro, disposto a ceder pelo relacionamento. Mesmo assim, o roteiro tenta forçar o telespectador a culpá-lo por conflitos em que ele claramente não errou sozinho.Se olharmos para a real problemática do casal, o verdadeiro epicentro das crises sempre foi a Flora. Ela inicia o romance impondo um monte de regras rígidas para proteger sua carreira, mas cai em uma contradição insustentável ao longo dos episódios:Quebra das próprias regras: Exigia transparência total de Luke, mas agia com extrema hipocrisia nos bastidores.Mentiras e omissões: Vivia mentindo e escondendo coisas cruciais, minando a confiança do relacionamento.Comportamento contraditório: Enquanto Luke tentava jogar limpo dentro das limitações que ela mesma criou, Flora agia de forma impulsiva, criando tempestades desnecessárias.Primavera Antecipada é uma obra excelente e visualmente fascinante. Porém, deixa um gosto amargo ao tentar "passar pano" para as atitudes problemáticas e contraditórias de Flora, enquanto sobrecarrega injustamente Luke com a culpa de uma instabilidade que ela mesma provocou.

E a OST é detalhe a parte pois estou fascinada pela essa OST 10/10❤️

Um C-Drama de sentimentos

Que experiência foi esse cdrama 🌸🥹
Sinceramente, não esperava me envolver tanto. Não sou uma pessoa que assiste muitos C-dramas, mas The Early Spring conseguiu me conquistar justamente pela delicadeza da história e pela forma como os sentimentos foram sendo construídos ao longo dos episódios.
O que mais gostei foi a forma como a história apresentou um amor real, com sentimentos, erros, escolhas, desencontros e principalmente amadurecimento. Não foi aquele relacionamento perfeito, onde tudo acontece facilmente. Eles erraram, se machucaram, tomaram decisões que nem sempre foram as melhores, mas, com o tempo, conseguiram olhar para tudo aquilo, reconhecer os próprios erros e entender o que realmente sentiam.
E acho que é justamente isso que torna a história tão bonita: eles amadureceram. ❤️
Em muitos momentos eu fiquei pensando que a vida é exatamente assim. Às vezes existem sentimentos verdadeiros, mas as pessoas ainda não estão prontas para lidar com eles. Às vezes erramos, fazemos escolhas por medo, orgulho ou imaturidade e só depois conseguimos enxergar as coisas de outra maneira.
E The Early Spring conseguiu mostrar isso de uma forma muito singela e emocionante.
Agora fica aquele vazio pós-dorama e a saudade dos personagens.

O que tá acontecendo?

Inicialmente eu achava que estava assistindo a um drama taiwanes, jurava de pé junto, mas foi quando percebi que era só um drama chinês meio picante (?) que conseguiu passar na censura por não estar passando em TV aberta, anyways.
A dinâmica do drama é rápida, vão ser 24 episódios então acho justo, mas eu acreditei que estava vendo um minidrama também (acreditei em várias coisas e duvidei da minha sanidade assistindo a este drama kaakakakakak). O trabalho da câmera é bom, só que deu a impressão que eles gravaram tudo no meio da tela (a impressão de minidrama), não todas as partes claro, mas a maioria.
A trilha sonora é boa também, nada muito "UAU!", mas alguns refrões ficam na mente.
É o meu primeiro drama com o Jing Boran e meu segundo com a Sun Qian, e particularmente estou amando a atuação.
Agora vamos pra história: é um mix.
Tem coisas que eu gosto, mas coisas que não (essas são as maiorias).
Sei que esse bagulho de química é torto, mas é inegável, os personagens combinam muito.
Gostei mais da Flora, como no início ela disse que ficou "presa" ao Luke por 6 anos, eu quero entender onde se deu a desconstrução dos valores dela e como ela se submeteu a ele por todo esse tempo, visto que ela parece ter uma inteligência emocional bem forte e que consegue se impor contra ele quando algo não a agrada. Eu espero que eles expliquem bem e desenvolvam bem essa parte delicada, com certeza depois do episódio 11, nos próximos 2 episódios ou 3, vai ter aquele episódio de "entrega", onde ela desiste de resistir a ele (como aconteceu em algum episódio anterior), e que agora ela se doa por completo, e siga o fluxo que o Luke comanda; porque ele não cede em nenhum momento. O que realmente é algo a se pensar, pois ao mesmo tempo que entender os erros dela seria algo bom, entender a dinâmica do relacionamento dos dois vai ser doído, já que podem ser muitas possibilidades e cair no cliché de: "ele era bom, só que foi perdendo o interesse"; "ele me tratava medianamente, mas só de estar perto dele eu já me sentia muito feliz". O que provavelmente vai resultar numa dependência emocional, visto que eles vão se separar, mas vão terminar o drama juntos, o que não apoio.
Eu espero que eles não banalizem o sentimento da garota, e que a Flora não termine como a ex do Luke.
E se for pra torcer pra um casal mesmo, eu torço pra Flora e pro colega de quarto dela, o Sun.
Luke e Flora entregam muita tensão, desejo e tudo o mais fantasioso que se pode imaginar, mas um relacionamento não vive disso, não vive de saídas no final de semana, o que Flora mais sente por ele é admiração, e desejo pela aventura que ele pode proporcionar a ela nos finais de semana, fora isso, os dois não sabem nem dos hábitos um do outro, isso com um ano de relacionamento. Ela merece segurança, não aventura e tensão emocional, confiança e não preocupação se o caso de final de semana dela tá "traindo" ela.
Agora o Luke: que personagem escroto.
Vi pessoas comentando que na novel ele é pior e no drama ele é mais complacente, meu Deus do céu.
Tá me dizendo que ele faz coisa pior na novel e no drama é a versão mais fraca dele? Desisto.
Sinceramente, a galera tem que parar de romantizar cara escroto e babaca e com a inteligência emocional de uma criança de 10 anos! Ele é muito imaturo, ele só quer o rala e rola, não quer saber se ele feriu ela, se ele tratou ela bem, nada, ele só vê ela como o mesmo pedaço de carne que ele pede no restaurante todo final de semana, a objetificação que esse cara faz com ela é surreal. Ele não se toca quando machuca ela, não pediu uma desculpa em 11 episódios de 40 minutos corridos.
Tomara que tenha algum plot que ele se jogue aos pés dela e pede pra ela voltar pra ele.
Os roteiristas não souberam colocar ele pra bater um papo namoral com ela, sem falar de trabalho, sem falar em manter relação secreta, sem falar em se soltar pro amor, sem apelar pra beijo ou pra cenas sexuais, por 10 minutos, eles não tiveram NENHUMA conversa construtiva no relacionamento que foram mostradas em câmera, nunca falaram sobre hobbies, gostos, papo calcinha, papo cueca, mano, ela é tua "namorada", pode até ser melhor chamar de ficante séria, porque é o que é, mas ainda sim, não tem diálogo! É desgastante, é possível ver como homem objetifica a mulher, só ela tá desgastada nisso tudo, pra ele tá de boa, no final de semana eles "conversam" e se acertam. Poisé, resultado? Ele vai pra Suíça no ano novo com os amigos, e tem uma amiga nesses amigos que gosta dele, e fica em cima dele o tempo todo, mesmo ele falando que tem "namorada", e deixa ela na China, porque na cabeça dele, que já sabia que ela tava triste com ele pelo que aconteceu no trabalho, tava tudo bem ele ir viajar com a garota que vive dando em cima dele. Namoral, homem não se manca.

Conforme for lançando os episódio, vou atualizando a resenha, mas por enquanto essas são minhas impressões.

EPISÓDIOS ASSISTIDOS: 14/24
E eu tenho que dizer... FINALMENTE, depois de tanta enrolação eles tiveram uma conversa séria sobre o relacionamento, ele pediu desculpas (repeti a mesma cena duas vezes para ter certeza do que ouvi), ela abriu a boca pra falar como se sentia quando ele humilhava ela, depois de 3 anos (ou dois, linha do tempo mal explicada) de relacionamento eles abriram a bosta da boca e se expressaram. Só que ainda sim temos muitos problemas e acho que valeria a pena terapia de casal para esses dois.
É muito tocante quando o roteiro mostra alguns flashbacks do passado de Luan Nian, é importante para a narrativa e nos mostra do porque ele é assim, só que não justifica nada.
Se quiser pegar exemplo de pais escrotos dentro da própria série, Sun leva o prêmio. Os pais dele são muito escrotos com ele e mesmo assim, ele é gentil, amável, protetor. Ou seja, não justifica passar pano. Luke ainda é herdeiro, mais um motivo para não passar pano para esse cara.
Em breve o ciclo do passado irá terminar, 6 anos de relacionamento em segredo.
O que me faz pensar, no início ela disse que foi submetida a esse relacionamento secreto, porém, quem sugeriu ser secreto foi ela; outra coisa, os relacionamentos entre funcionários são realmente proibidos dentro da empresa ou foi só ela que quis que fosse secreto para não pensarem que foi caso de Q.I. (Quem Indica), algo que provavelmente aconteceria. Não me lembro de ter sido explicado isso. E também outra coisa, a ex do Luke, que se matou, ela era funcionária da empresa? Deu a entender que sim. Eles não explicaram isso direito (a série bem que poderia ter 40 episódios, bendita "regulamentação"). Acho que eles vão perder alguns plots bem bons da novel por comta da quantidade de episódios, que trariam uma profundidade maior para a trama, porque até o momento tá parecendo uma réplica do que a Collen Hover faz, pega um tema super sério e coloca de fundo para o foco principal ser algo sexual; no caso aqui, dependência emocional. Eles não retratam como deveriam retratar, é sério que ela não tem nenhuma amiga pra falar que o cara que ela faz sexo casualmente está fazendo com que ela crie dependência nele, acreditam mesmo nessa coisa de amor verdadeiro? o episódio 14 veio para amolecer o coração de alguns, mas é aí que se cai no conto do vigário, ele quer que você ceda para fazer o que quiser com você, no caso, com a Flora. Ele não é carinhoso, não é gentil, um episódio e fazer café da manhã pra ela toda vez que eles tem relação é o mínimo e o máximo que ele consegue fazer, porque ele não tem mais repertório do que fazer, porque ele é só uma casca bonita.

Un fracaso narrativo que confunde el orgullo y la culpa con la madurez

Es increíble cómo se intenta vender esta historia como un romance de superación y segundas oportunidades, cuando en realidad expone una dinámica disfuncional donde la resolución carece de toda lógica y coherencia.

Si se analizan los hechos con frialdad, la relación de seis años ya arrastraba fallas graves por ambas partes. Por un lado, el protagonista masculino pecaba de soberbio, arrogante y condescendiente, manejando el vínculo bajo una asimetría laboral y emocional que terminó asfixiando la convivencia. Por el otro, la protagonista padecía de una falta de comunicación crónica; en lugar de hablar de frente, acumulaba resentimiento y mantenía una actitud ambigua y cercana con su exnovio, lo cual resulta en una falta de respeto inadmisible hacia la lealtad de una pareja seria.

El colapso de la trama ocurre en el desenlace. Tras una huida de tres años sin dejar rastro, ella regresa adoptando una postura de supuesta madurez que no es más que frialdad, orgullo y resentimiento, actuando como si no lo conociera para marcar distancia. El guion comete el error de forzar una humillación completamente innecesaria para el protagonista: si él ya había recapacitado, aprendido la lección y modificado su soberbia, obligarlo a convertirse en un mendigo de afecto que debe arrastrarse y rogar es un capricho absurdo que destruye la dignidad del personaje.

En la resolución final no existe un crecimiento real. Ella no aprendió a solucionar conflictos, sino a huir de ellos y a castigar a través de la distancia; él, por su parte, sacrificó su auto respeto cediendo ante la culpa. En lugar de un cierre sano, el desenlace demuestra que ambos necesitaban asistencia psicológica urgente para tratar sus respectivas incapacidades emocionales. Esta obra es el reflejo de una tendencia comercial saturada que prefiere forzar la sumisión y el drama barato antes que construir una historia con coherencia, equidad y respeto mutuo. Un 1.0 irrefutable.
