Qi Lu was waiting outside for Qin Xiao with breakfast, which the latter declined, stating that he already had one. They were having a conversation when Qi Lu mentioned they were friends. Qin Xiao refuted claiming he was unaware of it. Qi Lu asked Qin Xiao why he had cooked for him if that was not the case. Qin Xiao asked Qi Lu to stop smiling. He asked Qi Lu why he insisted on finding out who drew the sketch. Qi Lu apologized and replied that he found it interesting and that he liked the sketches very much. Qin Xiao was called to the office about designing one of Liu's friends' bars. Inside the classroom, Qi Lu was then introduced as the newest student. He chose to sit close to Qin Xiao but was asked to move further away due to light blocking. It was postponed, though, as Liu announced that the class would commence. Qi Lu and Qin Xiao were together during lunchbreak, though Qin Xiao's reception to Qi Lu was lukewarm. He then returned the key chain to Qi Lu. Before the exam, Qin Xiao received a phone call about his missing Grandpa. Qin Xiao and Qi Lu skipped the exam to look for Grandpa. Qi Lu found him. Inside the grocery store, emotions are running high between Grandpa and Qin Xiao to the point that when Qi Lu attempts to intervene, he gets hurt when Qin Xiao pushes him and hits the wall. He invited Qi Lu to stay for dinner to thank him for helping. Upstairs, Qin Xiao attended to Qi Lu's injury. He also revealed that his grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Meanwhile, Tan Yin and Liu were having dinner. They agreed to meet again the next day so Liu could take him somewhere. It turned out that Liu wanted Tan Yin's ears to be checked and possibly get hearing aids. Tan Yin initially got scared and tried to run away, but Liu reassured him. The scene ended with Tan Yin wearing hearing aids and Liu teaching him to call him Gege. (Source: MyDramaList)
