First time watching Jinyoung act, and he did amazing! T@nG1na ang Gwapo nya. The way he demonstrates his struggles and him.. so dAEBAK AHHAAH.

I avoided this because the poster made me think it was GL and I wasn't in the mood for it.

I didn't even recognize that it was Park Bo Young on the poster! I can't believe I almost missed this one. Because Park Bo Young happens to be one of favs.

Out of all her recent works, including Melo Movie and Daily Dose of Sunshine, I like this one better. The story was engaging, the characters interesting and multi-dimensional, and the drama was immersive. I rarely felt the need to skip any scenes.

This is what I like about some of these quality kdramas, everything is just right.

I did enjoy enjoy the story, the only reason I am not rating this 10 is that I felt that something was a bit missing, I can't place my finger on it, it could be the misunderstanding between the leads that wasn't very convincing, but then I think about the Mi Ji's turmoil and reject that notion.

like a blooming flower

i grew up with a sister who looks exactly like me, that people usually confused us for twins. we also literally have the same personalities as mirae and miri, which made watching this with her lowkey awkward but it was so good. i cannot even begin to explain just how awesome and realistic this kdrama was. the writing was of another level, with amazing character developments and such realistic depictions of people. havent watched a kdrama this satifisfying in a long time, and it truly healed some parts of me. some angles were not it, but that's my only complaint. i guess i also wanted more from the second couple, pls that man was so hot i need more of them asap

So many unsatisfying conclusions

Honestly, the show is alright, minute to minute its fine, but so many things just conclude in unsatisfying ways.
If it wasnt for Park Bo Young and the twins mom actress i would probably drop it around 6th episode.

The portrayal of the twins by Park Bo Young is well done, but the way their relationship is handled just felt off. Are they supposed to be super close to the point where they are able and willing to swap or are they not because if they are so much of the flashback stuff should not have happened.

And the flashbacks oh the flashbacks. They bring up some threads but then in current time it just gets waved away as misunderstandings. Miji basically ruined her life because of misunderstanding and not talking to her sister or anyone else. Her friend abandoned her when she was struggling but that was also misunderstanding i guess? Cause why would be need to deal with any of this, right? It feels like the writers started stuff in the past that they didnt know how to handle in the present without any conflict, so it just comes out that it was misunderstanding and now its all fine. SURE.

Then there was the sideplot of the restaurant owner, which was kinda pointless for the story.
The grandma dying felt like a padding for final episode. Emotionally honestly, it was like it wasnt even there,

Both sisters carreer choices at the end felt unearned and like they were just picked out of a hat, i guess Mirae working farm was just easy cause she already worked there, but it didnt feel right for her either and Miji going to college and doing psychology came out of nowhere, like how? How did the writers came to that?

I just finished watching it so its 6 now, but i feel like the score in my head might go down if i look back on it in a week.

A quiet, deeply human drama that proves not every masterpiece needs big twists.

i don’t think i’ve connected to a kdrama this quietly in a long time.

Our Unwritten Seoul isn’t the kind of drama that hooks you with huge plot twists or nonstop cliffhangers. it’s slow, introspective, and sometimes painfully ordinary… and that’s exactly why it works. it trusts the audience enough to sit with uncomfortable emotions instead of rushing to solve them.

the biggest strength is easily the acting. the lead performance is honestly incredible. playing two characters who share the same face but feel completely different could’ve turned into a gimmick, but it never does. after a few episodes, i stopped seeing “one actress playing two roles” and genuinely felt like i was watching two different people. that’s not something many actors can pull off.

what i loved most is how human everyone feels. nobody is written as purely good or bad. people make selfish choices, they avoid conversations, they hurt each other without meaning to, and they slowly learn how to live with themselves. the drama doesn’t force dramatic confrontations every episode because real life usually doesn’t work like that.

the romance is also refreshing. instead of relying on endless misunderstandings or forced love triangles, it grows through patience, comfort, and mutual understanding. it feels earned. you actually believe these people would choose each other outside of the drama.

visually, it’s beautiful without trying too hard. the cinematography matches the mood perfectly, and the soundtrack is subtle but memorable. there are scenes that say almost nothing, yet somehow leave the biggest impact.

that being said… i completely understand why this won’t be for everyone. the pacing is undeniably slow. if you’re looking for constant excitement or major twists every episode, you’ll probably end up frustrated. there were definitely moments where i wished certain storylines moved a little faster, and a few supporting characters could’ve been explored more deeply.

but honestly, i don’t think this drama was ever trying to be exciting. it’s about identity, burnout, family expectations, loneliness, healing, and learning that changing your life isn’t one big moment—it’s a series of small choices.

by the end, i wasn’t emotional because of some shocking finale. i was emotional because these characters felt real. i cared about them.

it’s one of those dramas that quietly stays with you after you finish it. maybe not perfect, maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s sincere, beautifully acted, and emotionally honest from beginning to end.

Rating: 9.5/10.

this isn’t the loudest drama of 2025. it doesn’t need to be. it’s one of the most human.

I found myself connecting with both sisters in different ways, especially the feelings of isolation, watching life pass by while simply trying to survive, and struggling in a toxic work environment. This drama captured those emotions with a realism that felt painfully accurate at times. What I appreciated most was how honestly it portrayed the ups and downs of life. Beautiful story and amazing acting results in a drama that packs a huge emotional punch.

This is a beautifully written drama with such emotional depth. I wish I had even a fraction of the story teller's talent to express how much I loved this drama and all the little warm nuggets of life stories in it. It is serious and heavy, yes. It has some missteps, yes and more importantly some character decisions will frustrate you unless you truly understand the havoc depression plays on the human mind.

The representation of depression in the drama can be very real in the physical sense for some people and in some cases it might be a metaphorical representation of what happens on your brain. That door opening.. it feels like your mind finally opening up to some joy and some feeling.

So this is not an easy going drama and it is not a romance or rom com. It is therapy wrapped in a story with some amazing lines.

Park Bo Young's acting alone warrants a watch. It is unbelievable sometimes that the two characters are played by the same person. The actors who played the mothers are also amazing. The male leads were good but you will be spellbound by the women here.

"Life isn't a story book with an ending. it is a notebook that you have to fill in".

Go watch it. Give it a shot. Bawl your eyes out.

The first few episodes are all about mood: long walks, late-night convos, awkward silences, and little moments that say a lot. By ep 4–5, their connection deepens—not in a dramatic way, but like two people slowly realizing they matter to each other.

By ep 8, the emotional tension is real. Past wounds resurface, choices start to clash, and you feel that something unspoken is always hanging between them. It's not fast-paced at all, but if you vibe with slow-burn, emotionally rich stories, this one hits. The loneliness, the timing, the what-ifs—it all feels raw and real. A little slow at times, but beautifully layered.

I'm completely hooked on *Our Unwritten Seoul*, and even though the series isn't finished yet, I’m giving it a 10/10 without hesitation. It’s truly a masterpiece. The story is deep, touching, and incredibly realistic. We follow young adults trying to achieve their dreams while juggling social, familial pressures, and the loneliness of city life. It’s beautifully written, and the characters are so authentic that you get attached to them from the very first episode.**

**The performances of the actors are outstanding. The chemistry between the two main characters feels so natural, making each interaction even more emotional. You truly feel everything they go through – their doubts, fears, joys, and victories.**

**And the OST... A real masterpiece! Sion's track, especially the intro, is absolutely mesmerizing. The music perfectly complements the scenes and adds another layer of emotion. You get completely immersed in every note; it’s an auditory delight.**

**Visually, the series is a feast for the eyes. Seoul is filmed in a way that makes it feel poetic and almost magical. The city itself becomes a character, with its bustling streets but also its quiet, peaceful moments. It’s beautiful and immersive.**

Such a really really beautiful and heartwarming drama ❤️‍

EVERYTHING about this drama is perfect and truly original. I love the cast so so much; the characters are so endearing.🤍 The storyline is amazing.

I had forgotten what a great actress Park Bo-young was. Her portrayal of the twin sister was remarkable. She also managed to create incredible chemistry with ML Park Jin Young (he’s such a good actor too) just by looking at him with sad eyes, and his gaze in return was overwhelmingly warm, without words. This is what I call unspoken love, which speaks volumes.

This is a touching and very well-written drama, very well performed by all the actors. I also really loved the dynamics between the families and friends, they all had a character development. I was particularly touched by the old lady in the restaurant, who often made me cry.

I really liked the pacing of Our Unwritten In Seoul. They didn’t rush the ending. This is probably one of the dramas that I personally think has a great ending.
For me, this is the best drama I’ve seen this year.

The definition of perfection

From minute 1 episode 1, to the last minute of the last episode, this was perfect. Not a single loophole, not a single extra detail, not a single regret of "man i wish this happened". I was not bored for one second.

It's a story about an identical twin that swtich places since they were kids to help each other, and they do that one last time as adults. One good at studies but very quiet and good at enduring, while the other is more athletic, outgoing and bright.

Park Bo Young proves to be one of the best actresses of her generation. You can tell the twins from one blick. An identical twin that even their mother fail to recognize, you, as an audience, are able to recognize them from one look. She created two totally different personas, different narratives, different demeanors with one face.

I really enjoyed this show overall. The story is beautiful, all the characters involved are beautiful, all of them had depth and meaning.

PS: when you hear 10 cm OST, just know the drama is about to be good as hell.
