My Bias Is Showing?!

최애가 나타났다! ‧ Drama ‧ 2025
Both shows share a lying to seduce a man for another person/lover plot. I do think MBIS is interior to revenged love, but it's a quick watch and it has it's moments.

An Idol and an ordinary person fall in love. A variety show is filmed. Misunderstandings lead to dramatic results. Cute, funny, with dark undertones.

A fan meets their idol in person. Both fall in love, but both also hold secrets about their real intentions and their past. Cute, funny, with dark undertones.

Both feature a relationship founded on misunderstandings. Aejoon and Heesu (the MC of their respective shows) have similar vibes and their narration over the episodes has the same feel.

Your typical idol-drama. Eye candy actors and run-of-the-mill plot. It's a fanboyxidol drama, quite similar to HPL but the idol falls in love with the fanboy

It's also a idol x fan (well, in this case hater) the story is longer because is enemies to lovers, it is a bit cliche but is actually funny to watch and has a second lead couple with a deep story and backstory with the male lead, it's more complex than my bias is showing but if you liked it you might like So I Married the Anti-Fan

Basically, Idols are getting entangled with their fans.
Both these shows give you the “oops I fell for my idol” itch. In both stories, the main guy starts off worshipping someone from afar, Chiaki’s obsessed with model Ai, and Aejoon’s a secret fanboy for idol Siyeol with the trope of life throws them right into their crush’s orbit we all adore. Cue chaos, secrets, and way too much awkward tension. Both stories have that fun mix of “I can’t believe this is happening” energy, plus genuine emotion as the fan–idol walls start to crumble. If you like BLs with hidden feelings, forced proximity, and a dash of fashion or fame drama, these two are basically your next comfort reads.

Both are BL comedy dramas about a fanboy who ends up working with his idol and tries to hide the fact that he's a stan as they gradually fall for each other.

Okay hear me out... in FC Soldout we have Ji U, who is trying his best at not showing that he is a fan of actor Gang Jae when said actor becomes part of the soccer team. We also learn that Ji U come out of a depression slump because of actor Gang Jae, who inspires him to continue on. In My Bias is Showing we have Aejoon, who also came out of a depression slump through the help of idol Siyeol's music. & he is also trying his best to keep the fact that he is a fan of Siyeol a secret to everyone, especially to Siyeol... both have that fan x celebrity trope going on ????
