This is one of the best and most mature characters I've seen in a C-drama in a long time. Esther yu SHuxin completely owned the role and handled every aspect of it so well. The character feels layered, realistic, and emotionally engaging, and that's a huge reason why the story works. The writing is strong, the character development is meaningful, and the drama doesn't rely on the usual clichés to keep viewers interested.

Wan Xing and her thousand ways of trying to convince
Wang Fa to become the football coach. I really hope the school is paying her enough because girl is doing absolutely everything at this point.
And when she tried to scare Wang Fa but ended up scaring herself instead. Then she pulled out her final card, the "door-in-the-face" technique. Girl, the secondhand embarrassment was so real and Wang Fa saw right through it.
This episode was absolutely unhinged from start to finish 😭

The relentless bickering between the overly analytical PhD student and the stubborn, rugged coach injects a brilliant layer of comedy into the script. Watching them constantly try to outsmart and subtly sabotage one another transforms their professional relationship into a playground of laugh-out-loud moments, proving that the drama handles playful banter just as effectively as its inspiring sports sequences."
