Amazing Start 1/13
William and Est, what are you doing to me?! These two swept me completely off my feet. Their chemistry is absolutely off the charts and it’s only the beginning. The first episode is giving everything: so many emotions and a plot that already feels different from the usual GMMTV fare. Thame and Po are two broken people who are clearly about to find in each other the comfort and healing they so desperately need. Thame is chasing his solo dreams, leaving his bandmates behind while Po is carrying his own pain, all while documenting the emotional chaos of Mars’ final concert. There is so much loneliness in both of them and I already know their story is going to make us cry, swoon and then cry again lmao.
The acting is also WOW. I mean I expected Est to be good (he’s been a favorite for a while now) but William? He completely caught me off guard. His portrayal of Thame is so vulnerable and at the same time, you can’t take your eyes off him. Is there anything this man can’t do? And don’t even get me started on their chemistry. Thame and Po’s interactions feel so natural yet emotionally charged. There’s a slow burn brewing here that’s going to destroy us in the best way possible. I CAN FEEL IT.
This show is also feels very mature. Yes, there are lighter moments to balance things out but I think its more about healing and self discovery. PLUS the production quality is chef’s kiss y'all. Every shot is so beautifully composed, you could frame it as art ffs. And the music is of course an orgasm to the ears. I mean, we are talking about LYKN here.
Either ways, this first episode has me hooked. There is incredible acting, the chemistry is beyond amazing and the emotional parts are very well done. I can’t wait to see how Thame and Po’s story unfolds. It’s already promising heartbreak, healing, and everything in between, and I am so here for it.
Note : This review will change as the story progresses

A Mature Storyline
I had not expected , I thought this would be same Thai traditional cheesy BL story but I was wrong . Gmmtv did a great job .Disclaimer - I wrote this review according to my own thoughts . This review may contain spoilers . It will be change according to the upcoming episodes .
Story - Po , a heartbroken soul , was wondering a good job but everytime for being honest he failed at the interview . He recently broke up with his partner ( Earn ) and tried to heal his broken soul . He suddenly got a job at a big entertainment company and he was tasked with documenting a boy group's ( MARS ) final concert before their disbandment . Thame ( the leader of MARS ) about to make a solo debut in South Korea for a misunderstanding with his bandmates .
Impression - A mature and emotional story . The way the actors expressed every details ,is excellent . Thame and Po , both of them were trying to understand their hearts with each other's companion . The cinematography and visuals are top tier . As William is here then the music must be good , yes his beautiful voice stole our heart . The intro was so beautiful , one of the best intro I ever seen .
Overall - Try one episode , you will understand . I am giving 10/10 .

Review ep1
was really angry with William's character, but it's ok because he's literally in idol survival mode. I really loved Est's character, he's so handsome! I love his acting.I'm very proud of my Lykn boys (fan since before the series was announced☝️) them acting and singing is everything, I'm 100 times more in love.
(Tui and Hong's girl here🤭☝️)

ThamePo best series
Definitely one of the best series I’ve watched. The cast and cinematography the plot, everything was perfect. To think this was William’s debut series and Est first time in a lead role, the chemistry and acting was out of the world. Literally a no skip series, every minute of it is crucial. Nut, Hong, Tui and Lego, did exceptionally well as well, they really brought their characters to life. Well done to the full cast, I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds. You got me squeezing my pillow and kicking my feet every Friday night! 😍Was this review helpful to you?
Best Dialogue and Rational Plot lines thus far after KinnPorsche
OKAY what the FREAKY. I made an account just to make this review because this drama is just THAT GOOD.Honestly, I went in blind and without expectations because GMMTV BL series are usually a tiny bit cringe for me. Oftentimes, Thai BL has irrational dialogue and unreasonable plot lines that just make the series completely unwatchable. For example, The Heart Killers. YES, I know it has quite a high rating on mydramalist and that everyone raves about it but it just was not quite for me. The storyline is a little illogical, one example being that one of the MCs, Bison, being a hitman, still decides to trust and love another MC, Kant, on "first sight". Also, some of the dialogue and scenes MUST be skipped or at least fast forwarded for me, like Fadel dancing, Fadel tying up Style against a swimming pool, etc.
But I digress.
The plotline of this drama was so mature and logical. The director brings out reasonable character development out of Thame in just the first episode. The dialogues between Po and Thame? Just chefs kiss. No cringe scenes YET, no insensible plots YET. I am seeing great potential for this drama. I hope it lives up to my expectations that has skyrocketed since the first episode.

Series that makes Heart skips your Beat
ThamePo- Heart that skips a beat It's a series that everyone must watch, storyline, character portrait by actors on point, Best Ost, and others. PO character played by Est Supha it's his 1st time lead and emotion, understanding, and maturity he showed in series is best and on point. LYKN T-pop boys this is their debut series as a lead, and they showed and proved they are here to stay. I would strongly suggest everyone to watch this series and i guarantee you will fall in love with this series and the actorsWas this review helpful to you?
So far my best series watched
It's a really heartwarming and wholesome series. The actors really portrayed the characters well. The storyline was flowing without any bugs and also made sense. The casting were really good too! Having the determination to find a real boy group LYKN to join the series is something to praise for. Good job William, Est, LYKN and the other crew members! Can't wait for the next 9 episodes to be aired. Was this review helpful to you?

A Must-Watch with Chemistry That Sparks
Thamepo is seriously so good! The main couple has amazing chemistry, and you can feel the connection between them in every scene. I also love that the Mars members are a real boyband – it makes everything feel so authentic, plus they’re all super talented. The cinematography is beautiful, and the acting is on point. Watching this had me smiling, blushing, and holding my breath more times than I can count. Definitely worth watching !!Was this review helpful to you?

A Captivating Drama That Masterfully Blends Love, Music, and the Highs and Lows of Fame
With stellar performances, a brilliantly crafted script, and captivating production, this Netflix series has quickly earned its place as a must-watch.The story follows Po, a filmmaker assigned to document the last performance of MARS, a boy band adored by fans. Po’s journey becomes deeply personal as he forms an unexpected bond with Thame, the group’s enigmatic leader. At its core, the series explores themes of identity, vulnerability, and the sacrifices demanded by the entertainment world, all while delivering a tender love story that resonates on many levels.
William Jakrapatr’s portrayal of Thame is a masterclass in emotional depth and authenticity. He captures the complexity of Thame’s life with stunning precision, offering viewers a front-row seat to the struggles of a man torn between public expectations and personal desires. From the commanding presence he exudes on stage to the moments of quiet introspection behind the scenes, William’s performance is nothing short of captivating. His ability to convey Thame’s internal struggles—whether through a subtle flicker of doubt in his eyes or the quiet strength in his voice—makes his character profoundly human and relatable. The chemistry between William and Est Supha (Po) adds an extra layer of brilliance to the series. Their interactions feel organic and charged with emotion, creating a connection that is both authentic and deeply moving.
One of the show’s greatest strengths is its script, which strikes a delicate balance between drama, romance, and introspection. The dialogue is sharp and purposeful, revealing layers of the characters’ personalities and emotions with every exchange. The writers have skillfully avoided clichés, instead opting for nuanced storytelling that respects the audience’s intelligence. The pacing of the narrative is another highlight. Each scene feels deliberate, whether it’s a quiet moment of reflection or a high-energy concert sequence. The script gives equal weight to both the public and private aspects of Thame and Po’s lives, ensuring that the characters feel fully fleshed out and multidimensional.
The production values are also impeccable, with sleek cinematography and thoughtful set designs that reflect the contrasting worlds of stardom and personal intimacy. The soundtrack, featuring original compositions, is seamlessly integrated into the story, amplifying the emotional impact of key scenes.
"ThamePo: Heart That Skips a Beat" is a testament to the power of well-crafted storytelling and exceptional performances. William Jakrapatr’s unforgettable portrayal of Thame and the script’s heartfelt depth make this series a true gem in the world of contemporary Thai dramas. Whether you’re a fan of music-themed narratives or love stories with substance, this series delivers on all fronts.
Now streaming on Netflix, "ThamePo" is an emotional journey that will leave you reflecting long (also blush) after the end of each episode :)
