- Teacher with ulterior motives to becoming a teacher

Both include a teacher different from the others, a complex line of students and a hierarchy in the classroom is heavily implied

School 2013 is more student-focused in the main characters are two students with a complicated past friendship.

Both dramas have pretty much the same motive: to grow and nurture students into becoming adults. School 2013 is more heavy in terms of circumstances and conditions, but it's a must watch.
