Gen-san, a street vendor, and his younger brother Tohru are forced to flee the capital and end up in Shinshu. When they drop into a hot spring inn in search of a job, something seems odd. There, Gen-san reunites with an old acquaintance, the company president, and, blinded by the quick money, hands over his brother Tohru. Shocked, Tohru gets drunk and ends up running into a gay bar owner...
