3 women, each at a different stage in their lives, seek a new life overseas due to their own reasons and expectations. Faye, who married early, has just been cheated on by her husband. For a change of environment, she visits her best friend in Taipei. There, she recklessly tries to find someone to marry in order to settle down. Married couple Lydia and Leo were both high-flyers. When they reached a bottleneck in their careers, they quit their well-paid jobs in Hong Kong and moved to Green Island to run a hotel. They had been to Green Island before and had fallen in love with the carefree lifestyle there. However, reality rarely matches our expectations. Lydia is a perfectionist. Her business has been hit by the pandemic, and she does not get along with her local business partners. Having to juggle business and family planning, conflicts emerge between Lydia and Leo. Yvonne, an art teacher on a work permit, has been living in Taipei for a number of years. One day, the school informs her that her contract will not be renewed. Thinking that she may not be able to get used to the fast pace of life in Hong Kong again, Yvonne desperately wants to stay in Taiwan. Her colleague Shun Wan and good friend Yu Shan are eagerly helping her find a way to stay. However, what Yvonne needs to do now is be honest with herself about the real reason she wants to stay in Taiwan. (Source: makerville.hk/en) Edit Translation

Not Sure Float Where... Really Just Floating Without Destination In Sight...
I went into this "just because". I was looking for something to watch and chanced upon this.I watched 13 out of 15 episodes. I had every intention to go back to it but after some time passed and more time passed, I could hardly remember what I had watched and so, I decided to drop it. I did not think that I missed out on anything at all though.
What I Liked A Little Bit:
- Slice of life drama which I enjoyed.
- Natural acting in general.
- The little boy actor, Kit Kit, because he was such a mature little boy. He was so helpful and thoughtful. Such a good kid.
What I Didn't Like:
- The actress, who acted as Faye, was, to me, all kinds of awkward and weird and I really did not like watching her. I found myself frustrated whenever she came on screen and I did not feel invested in her character or her circumstances. She behaved very oddly throughout the show and things were not properly explained. (Perhaps because I did not complete the show and so... I would never know.)
- Unexciting story plot.
On the whole, I do not recommend this drama as it is really quite dry and dull. What something else? :P
