Chaser Game W2: Utsukushiki Tennyotachi Episode 6 Reactions
Back in the present, Fuyu asks Itsuki when is was that she thought Fuyu was more than a (good) friend; that was after a day at the movies when they encountered pouring rain on the way home. While watching the soaked Fuyu dry up, and later while drying her hair, Itsuki realized she “liked” Fuyu and even said it three times – but Fuyu didn’t realize it at the time.
Fuyu was with a guy back then who two-timed her – but Fuyu was surprised how little she felt about that. This is the scene that lead to their first kiss. Then, it was Fuyu’s 19th birthday; Itsuki want to spend the night with Fuyu, but Fuyu lived in the University dorm where you are supposed to check in at night, nor can bring guests. So, they part after partying much to Itsuki’s chagrin.
Then, it’s Itsuki’s birthday – and Fuyu prepares a meal for her, but she is sick. Fuyu isn’t the greatest cook – the dish is a little salty – but Itsuki eats it happily anyway. Fuyu this time ignores her curfew and takes care for Itsuki. This lead to their first time together. Fuyu was also the one suggesting Itsuki should apply for a job at a game company. They even wanted to apply for shared accommodations – but as at least Fuyu (I assume, also Itsuki) was not of legal age (20) at this point they would need parental consent for this; not much of a problem for Itsuki, but we all know Fuyu’s parents.
Back in the present, Itsuki proposes to move in together – with Fuyu’s daughter, or course. As it’s getting late on their University flashback evening , they share a kiss.
Then, we move forward two more months: Fuyu and Kou’s divorce is final; Kou and Fuyu will both raise their daughter, but she will be living with Fuyu. Kou will stay in Japan trying to become an animal handler. Then, Itsuki makes good on her promise and the three of them move in together – on Fuyu’s birthday, which is why Itsuki and Tsuki surprise her with a birthday cake, and Itsuki thanks her – for being born, for meeting her, for living together, and for always telling her she loves her. As the three of them share a hug the episode ends.
And that’s it. A “Chaser Game W” episode without any drama that essentially recapped the best parts of their (close to) ten years together, while also starting a new chapter. I liked the emotional episode 5 a little better, but there is not much of a drop-off.
Now let’s see with what they will fill the final two episodes – the next one look like it will focus and domestic bliss, but also on work stuff.
