Touching

This was a dramatic improvement compared to the first season. Fuyu reemerged more emotionally vulnerable and, though battered from intense familial pressure, managed to rise above and take a true stand for her and Itsuki's relationship.

Not only was there a more concrete storyline and satisfying ending, but they also had something to say: If we always hide, we'll never create a more accepting world where Queer people can feel safe and comfortable to come out. Let us not reinforce our culture's promotion of silence and enduring.

And Tsuki—darling Tsuki—was a national treasure, encouraging and supporting her moms just by being an innocent, confident, and kind little girl.

Even if you never watched the first season, I recommend you watch this one.

Heartfelt but Flawed

So, the series combines elements of romance, LGBTQ+ themes, and coming-of-age storytelling using the trope of romance, friendship, and resilience within a school setting, incorporating complex relationships. The series' depiction of Itsuki and Fuyu's reunion after overcoming previous pain and family judgment appeals to viewers who appreciate stories about resilience and complex relationships. The relationship between the characters adds emotional depth, making their road to acceptance and happiness interesting for many viewers. I still feel the series could need greater pacing, particularly in its examination for additional characters and subplots. For example, Fuyu's mother's frequent interventions and the reemergence of Fuyu's first love could take away from the main storyline, resulting in unneeded drama that can become monotonous. Some episodes have been quite refreshing and pointed out the real-world conflicts that the same-sex couples face these days. My fav character is the lil one - Hayashi Tsuki, she is the sweetest ever. Anyways, apart from the kid, I truly liked the chemistry between Itsuki (Sugai Yuuka) and Fuyu (Nakamura Yurika), the actresses did well but well, Chise (Yeo Reum) stole the spotlight for some time, she did great.

This season is much better than season one and one more thing, there is not much love scene between the leads, they do get intimate and it was kinda cute - I found it purely sweet. I won't give any spoilers but once we get into episode 6 and 7, real problems arise for Fuyu and Itsuki being two mothers of a kid and whatever they faced in the drama is a depiction of what happens in many places around the world for LGBTQ+ couples. If you have watched season one, it's mandatory to watch season, you won't regret. If you enjoy emotional storytelling with a focus on individual development will most certainly find it interesting, despite some narrative flaws.

Happy watching!

between NOT Manga-like and UnNatural

lovely story, but this drama need better script writer
and better director
better dialogue's lines
better act
it stands between Reality and Manga-like
the twists feels karappoi
I hardly feels the love between the characters
it needs more intense short love scenes

between NOT Manga-like and UnNatural

Better than season one!

Omg!! Season two was sooooo good!! I really liked the first season, and season two only got better!

The plot was better written, there was better acting, it is safe to say this season really upgraded. A lot of the new plotlines were interesting and good. The love triangle really added to it and created some drama in an unannoying way. Also, can we talk about how perfect their chemistry is!?!! The leads did amazing together. I loved this drama.

This season felt refreshing. It had a nice ending; oh, how Ill miss Itsuki and Fuyu! It's such a good drama; I hope the actresses work together in the future. If you've seen the first season, be sure to watch this one!! It won't let you down, and just watch if you like gls in general.

Absolutely beautiful

Finally season 2 has come to an end and well I loved every single minute of it!

Having the story of season 2 solely focus on Itsuki and Fuyu and their relationship and their journey to happiness was definitely a step up from the first season. Also loved seeing Itsuki and Fuyu grow as the story progressed, it made me fall in love with them all over again. Of course the lovey dovey moments between Itsuki and Fuyu are absolutely adorable and beautiful as well. I think some favorites are from Ep 4 and Ep 6 (if you know you know)

I also really loved how much the season 2 tackles with the struggles that LGBTQ couples go through, it captured it really well. From family to pressures of society and just wanting to be accepted. It really was so well done. There were many powerful, emotional and heartfelt moments that had me crying, Itsuki and Fuyu deserve all the happiness in the world!

Also I really did love the addition to Yoruem, it took some time to warm up to her at first but I really did love seeing her around and her being Fuyu's rival of sorts and just how she was important to Itsuki. Also the other supporting cast members were great but the outstanding ones are Tsuki and Kou! Both are absolute MVPs for supporting Itsuki and Fuyu to the very end!

Yuuka and Yurika once again are absolutely adorable, their chemistry is just absolutely perfect and I can't ever imagine anyone else as Itsuki and Fuyu! They are ItsuFuyu!

Also once again the music for the show is a 10/10! The ost is absolutely beautiful as always and I loved the new theme song by imase and the ending song by Yurika was just perfect since it was a song about Itsuki and Fuyu and their relationship and love for each other!

But if I did have to nitpick about something it would definitely be the pacing. You can definitely tell there is a pacing issue with this season as it does try to tackle too much at times. It is like they wrote season 2 with hour long eps in mind but in the end they didn't get the hour long eps so they had to cram in many things at once.

But even so I still absolutely loved season 2 and just this show in general. I am so glad I found this show and fell in love with its characters and story. It has become one of my favorite shows ever, I just love everything about it and I never wanted it to end.

I really do highly recommend it, especially if you are a GL fan and love emotional heartfelt storytelling with individual character development at its center stage. And ofc if you are a fan of the series it is a mandatory watch!
