Despite finding the true murderer of her parents, Ling Yan refuses to believe Mo Qing Chen is innocent and breaks off her relationship with Lin Chi. Ji Ding Luan’s spiritual teacher returns and wants him to accompany him on his travels, making Qiu Wan upset. Lin Chi and Mo Qing Chen help Ding Luan and Qiu Wan through their difficulty.
