An atrocious drama that has your blood boiling the more you watch it
Literally as the headline says this drama will make your blood boil where you will be wishing if only every character went on their separate ways or hell never met each other at all. Absolute idiot of an ML followed by one of the most rage baiting FL's I have ever seen. The drama starts off good with tensions between the couple already on a boiling point but the issues with this drama start from the very next episodes. The writing is trash, the character arcs, well there isn't any as they start of as grownup idiots and are the same for almost the entire drama.You may hate on the ML at start, guy literally acts like a dumb teenager who can't even take hints and has no idea on when to open his mouth and what to say. He keeps getting on his wife nerves and even the viewers will be thinking how the hell did this turd even got married. It is in the latter half when his hidden scars and pain is revealed and well almost the ending where he does a few things sensible that you will feel for him but overall he is a idiot.
The most obnoxious character in the entire drama is THE WIFE. I feel Lee Min Jung did this drama as a way to show off her true feelings she has been keeping towards her cheating real life husband all these years. Her character is absolutely selfish, toxic and a total damsel in distress who blames everyone for her misfortune but not herself. Her character may start off as sympathetic but with each revelation her character keeps falling more and more below where you will be wishing may you never have a wife like that and if you do then may god have mercy. She is a total push and pull, forgives then blames her husband, cherishes him but the very next day shatters his heart with vile accusations. With each episode you will be thinking that both ML and SML are better of without a woman like her.
Even the side characters aren't likeable other than two. The ML's family is a nightmare for any married woman and her ex the so called knight in shinning armor who hasn't learnt to not cross boundaries all these years. The concept was good yet ruined by the horrendous writing.
Don't bother watching this unless you want a headache.

A Comedy of Remarriage That Mistakes Trauma for Depth
I returned to Okay, Let’s Get a Divorce because several comments claimed that episode 5 finally balances the responsibility within the marriage. Technically, it does. The problem is how it gets there.We suddenly learn that on the day she lost their baby, her husband did not abandon her. He was actually trying to get back to her when he had a car accident. Then the drama adds an even more extreme revelation: days later, during her suicide attempt, he tried to stop her and ended up with a knife in his abdomen.
Somehow, she apparently remained unaware of this for years until a conveniently introduced character finally tells her. She sees the scar, realizes that her husband never abandoned her, falls to her knees, cries, and apologizes.
The scene wants to be devastating, and the performances give it some emotional weight, but narratively it is cashing an emotional check the writing never earned. We are not discovering the hidden meaning of information carefully established over five episodes. The drama is retroactively introducing extraordinary events to completely change our perception of the marriage and facilitate the eventual reconciliation.
By episodes 5 and 6, I also finally understood what kind of drama this really wants to be: a comedy of remarriage, a genre Hollywood was already doing almost a century ago. The Awful Truth (1937) used separation, romantic rivals, jealousy, and marital competition to bring a couple back together.
This drama follows essentially the same structure. She asks for a divorce, he moves back into their house, they are forced to live together, and each gets a potential romantic alternative. At one point, when both need someone to take care of them, they even call their respective romantic rivals into the marital home.
The problem isn't that I've seen this story before. The problem is that I've seen it done much better.
The drama takes a perfectly functional remarriage-comedy structure and overloads it with pregnancy loss, grief, a suicide attempt, a stabbing, guilt, and emotional abandonment. Then, whenever it wants to become a rom-com again, it simply switches all that emotional weight off and returns to jealousy, caricatured characters, an exhausting mother-in-law, and playful music.
It doesn't integrate genres. It switches them on and off.
And I could forgive it for not being a particularly good drama if it were at least a good comedy. But after six episodes, I haven't laughed once.
I will correct one thing from my earlier impression: the drama eventually does hold the female lead accountable and acknowledges that her husband was not the monster she had constructed in her mind. That is no longer my main problem with the series.
My problem is worse: this is an old story told mediocrely, artificially inflated with tragedies that it mistakes for depth, while constant tonal shifts destroy any sense of emotional continuity.
The Awful Truth understood this formula in 1937 and needed less than 90 minutes.
This drama has had six episodes and is still trying to convince me why I should care.
Dropped for good.

Literal ragebait
stupidest writing I've ever seen, doesn't make any sense and scenes are just made to ragebait I swear to god.Acting failed to get me into the mood of the drama and I'm usually very patient with even the worst writing but after reaching episode 6 I dropped it.
Also the FL stylist needs to be fired her outfits did not match the scenes at all.
The dialogue was so weak I couldn't get invested and that lawyer? How is she leaking her past client's information and telling his ex girlfriend the details of his divorce that's grounds for her licence to be confiscated.
Genuinely pissed me off and I'm not the type to hate a drama and drop it this fast.
