Like my ex, disappointing.
I really really wanted to love this completely, but it left me unsatisfied. The first episodes started out strong but the quality just petered out. The leads have excellent chemistry & is one of the reasons to watch this. But their relationship progression felt too fast. Most everyone is shitty in this, especially the father. He deserved to die twice. The brother is annoying & sister is evil. MC starts out like them as well, but changes later. The performances of most actors are just average.
Story was promising, but the script was underdeveloped and most times illogical. Should've made it more slick & cohesive. The action sequences with Daou was some of the highlights. Product placement makes it look cheap as always. It also falters in the technical side. The 7/10 is only for the main leads. It's a one time watch, nothing spectacular.

Best drama of this year for me.

No spoilers just reviewing the acting and story
The first episode was pure art and action. It was one of the best in a long time.It literally contained all the needed backstory to further the story forward, the action and the tension as well. The acting could not have been better from all the cast, but the two main actors and especially the one playing Pheem is doing the role of a lifetime.
There are a few of postproduction errors but these are found after the first or second rewatch and honestly i think it is what makes it fun too, because they do not hinder the story (for example the plaster on the wrong side of the face).

Budget KinnPorsche
It's budget KinnPorsche, not entierly the same plot, but with many similarities just in a smaller not as well produced manner. At first a was having a real good time despite the no so great quality there was something quite entertaining about this series. For a hero or in this case anti-hero to be truly admirable his opponents have to be grander and more powerful than they are and the villains in this story delivered every time, they're much more powerful, calculating, meticulous and ruthless which makes you want to root for Pheem. Although it's a revenge drama mostly action driven it's got some really good comedy moments thrown in. The fight choreography was pretty O.k, the gun fights on the other hand were bad to the point that I giggled every time a gun was fired.
I was having a good time I truly was until episode 7 I wad driven mad by rage and don't even want to know how it ends, I was rooting for that little maniac, making ecuses for him but he lost me, I cannot forgive him and I do not want Than to forgive him either so, I quit, I'm out . I loved Offroad in this villainous manly role and I would love to see him as THE Villain in something better or another anti-hero that I could actually root for.
I think might go rewatch Century of Love, the only series staring this two that's actually worth watching to see if it helps me forget this crap exists.

Amazing Show
I am super impressed by The Wicked Game The series. They really delivered what they promised. It is really a wicked game of anger, love, betrayal. How perfectly they depicted the story. Pheem's character is so realistic. He did not hold back. He was raised to get revenge. He can't just forget everything in one day because he is in love. His character development needed space, time and show gave just that. He started changing slowly and finally realized what really mattered to him. Every single character delivered perfectly. I am so in love with this series. I love grey characters. And Offroad as Pheem is just beyond perfection. I am blessed to see this series. Daouoffroad never disappoint. ♥️Was this review helpful to you?

Pheem! Pheeeeeem! Pheeeeeeem! KinnPorsche from Temu
Good potential - weak execution!!This took a moment to watch... It actually didn´t start off that bad! Some compelling and intriguing story elements - but it turned very boring very quickly. Mostly due to the rather bland characters.
The first time we started to not take this series seriously was when other character started calling Pheems name like a pokemon. Like Pheem Pheem Pheem- hello???
The story kinda got stuck and ended up repeating itself - almost like they worte it with ChatGPT but the free premium ran out and it started to just repeat itself.
Chet was a kinda dissapointing character - but they didnt do anything with his storyline at all ? He was basically just screaming and throwing stuff everytime he had screentime, apart from his banger lines being his last words (when he was bleeing out and couldnt scream or throw something)
What pissed us off the most was the ONLY baseline for Than and Pheem being that goofy ahh playground scene -- IT WAS A ONE TIME EVENT STOP REFERENCING IT EVERY 20 MINUTES!! (not to mention that ugly fucking ring)
Speaking of rings - the pacing was wayyyy off like marrige??? We expected them to adopt a child in the final episode LMAO
The end was pretty rushed, they spent a lot of other sceentime on useless stuff BUT main story elements they speedrunned
Pheem kinda reminded us of a less evil Hua Yong without Omegaverse - he has those psychopathic tendencies.
Than on the other hand seemed okay - but not to mention he instantly forgot everything Pheem has done to him once he got laid LOL like he HATED him - they did the dirty - Than was sunshine and rainbows again HAHHAHA
Overall - a sadly boring watch with some laughs inbetween for us.

I honestly didn’t expect the last two episodes to make me cry, but they did. This series was a real rollercoaster of emotions. Pheem & Than: After watching his mother get murdered, Pheem grew up hating the rest of his family and obsessing over revenge. His cold, calculating attitude is just armor to hide how vulnerable he really is. He’s manipulative and driven by vengeance, and while his choices are questionable, I couldn’t help but sympathize with his pain and even understand him at times. Meeting Than again reminds him that kindness, gentleness, and real love still exist. Than’s patience and moral integrity slowly help Pheem realize what truly matters in life. If Pheem is cold and calculating, Than is emotionally vulnerable and that’s what makes him so captivating. He trusts too easily, almost naively, but behind that soft smile is a man desperate for redemption, trying to rebuild the reputation he lost as a police officer, his lifelong dream. Both were betrayed by the same family, which makes their bond even stronger. Their relationship evolves from bodyguard and heir into something much deeper that changes both of their lives. And let’s be real, Daou and Offroad’s chemistry is undeniable, amazing, and easily the biggest pillar of the series.
Risa: She’s the character I loved to hate. I get her struggle to be seen and respected in a patriarchal world that values power above all else, but I couldn’t feel sympathy for her. She’s cruel, and behind that deceptively sweet facade, she’s hands down the most manipulative and ruthless of the siblings, pulling all the strings and playing them against each other. I can’t say I was sad about her ending. Huge kudos to Mo Monchanok though, she nailed it.
Chet & Park: If Risa was the one I loved to hate, Chet was the one I loved to love. I didn’t expect to sympathize with him so much. He’s definitely not a good person, but he’s not cruel either. He’s insecure, and behind his desperate obsession with becoming the heir, he’s really just a scared little boy craving love from his domineering mother and cold, indifferent father. Because of that insecurity, he’s the easiest to manipulate of the three siblings. Maybe he’s the only one who truly wanted a real family. And in a way, he found that with Park. Park’s selfless, generous love is the small beacon of clarity and comfort in Chet’s chaotic life. Despite all their flaws, they deserved a better ending.

short review: Tears, Twists, and Timeless Performances.
I would say this is one of the best dramas I’ve watched. Some people don’t enjoy this type of genre because it’s filled with manipulation, trauma, and heavy emotions that can feel overwhelming. But at the end of the day, it’s just a story written by the author, and the actors are simply following the script. What makes it so captivating is how well they perform—their chemistry feels natural, and every scene draws you in.What I love most is the suspense. Each episode leaves you wondering what will happen next, making it impossible not to stop watching. The twists and turns are unpredictable, and the way the characters interact adds depth to the storyline. Even when the plot gets dark, the acting and direction make it worth following. It’s the kind of drama that keeps you thinking long after the episode ends, and that’s what makes it truly unforgettable.
I cried a lot, especially during the last episode. I thought it would end a certain way, but it turned out completely different, which made it even more emotional. The storyline is excellent, and every actor did an amazing job bringing their characters to life.

I really wanted to give The Wicked Game a higher rating, but...
I feel like many Thai dramas have been regressing lately, gradually returning to the clichés of 2018–2020 when the BL industry was gaining popularity. There are SO many slow-motion scenes and an overly dramatic soundtrack, not to mention the awkward, cringe-worthy romance scenes that made it difficult for me to continue watching. It's a real shame since this drama had the potential to be much better. Was this review helpful to you?
Not every bl needs a happy ending
its unfortunate that these two amazing actors had to act in such a badly written series. They dont want to see each other again, but they always do. They die, but they never actually die. Everyone hates everyone but they also dont. I dont even know anymore. This couldve been an amazing series, but unfortunately they went with too much drama. Its unrealistic and annoying to watch.I love these actors and have loved every series they were in. Their acting is amazing and it also was amazing in these series. even though the story was bad they still managed to make me cry. I hope next time theyll get a better written story to act in.

Poorly written and acted, got boring past episode 3
This was just bad and not in a so bad it is "funny/entertaining" way- over the top scenario / makjang but that takes itself too seriously...ending was just ridiculous
- super repetitive : lie, betray & repeat - ad nauseam
- main actors chemistry was okay but not extraordinary (but they were not helped by the scenario)
I would not recommend this to people, this drama is deeply flawed and without the entertaining factor that push you to want to see what happens next. Here, characters are so unlikable that you just don't care.

Most toxic and logic less series
Honestly it's the first time I am writing any review the story is trash nd everything is just too Rushed never watched any BL that is so dissappointing the mls have a very toxic relationSpoiler
The ml Manipulates other ml for his own benefits and even shoots him even after all that he forgives him that thing is so Trashy
The acting is good and music is very nice other than that everything is just trash the plots are to obvious and the sibling sibling fighting is all that the story revolves around in the ending to the ML pretends to be dead and doesn't even tell his boyfriend he comes back saying that he was too busy with the paperwork of changing his name the cops are also shown stupid in this series there is no involvement of cops in place of illegal things in the end I hope that the ml will go back to his job and clear his name but that is not even discussed this is the first ever series that I would recommend not to watch :))
