Honestly when i started watching this drama i started out of boredom but OH MY who knew this would become my new obsession...The Main leads are very handsome and and yes the story is full of Actions and also the intimate scenes are top notch... Don't let the bad reviews stop you from watching this series...The series is worth watching in repeat... Cause at the first watch you'll discover many new things and it might be a little confusing for new comers so you might need to watch it again but every second is worth watching...Gunner and Nice have a very good chemistry...and also for me Gunner is Handsome as hell which is giving cherry on top energy...the series is overall very good...the acting is good along with the story line and visuals... eagerly waiting for this couple to have another series... Cause they deserve it... Such a hot and sweet couple...Give it a watch , you won't regret it...Also (A LITTLE SPOILER) The kiss after Slap was so damn hot... One of the best bl i have seen their acting story chemistry is fire I watched again and again. When I watched fell in love with Keen, he is really cute. Their NC scene is also really good.The way they solve problems is really great definitely watched it again and again.The story hooked me because it is not only about romance, but also about how two people learn to trust, understand, and stand by each other through every challenge. The acting is incredible—every emotion feels real and natural, not forced at all. The chemistry between the leads is absolutely fire. Every glance, every smile, and every little gesture made their connection so believable that I couldn’t stop watching.

I fell completely in love with Keen. He is so cute, charming, and at the same time strong in his own way. His presence on screen always grabbed my attention, and I admired the way he portrayed his emotions with such sincerity. He made the character feel alive and memorable. Chemistry like no other

just finished ep 12...

tbh i didn't know what I was getting myself into because I didn't watch the trailer or read the synopsis. i love going blindly into a series.

if im being honest I didn't have much expectations but I got hooked right from the ep 1. I really loved Thun and Keen's dynamics, chemistry, dressing room s*x, their relationship and their journey.

they didn't get along right from the start. it took them a couple of episodes to fully understand each other but once they did they were inseparable. I loved every bit of them being together

the storyline was also amazing. i loved all the twists and turns. some plot twists were obvious and I predicted but some i didn't see coming.

I think this series had everything that I wanted and it was very entertaining. I loved the boxing scenes. they were well choreographed. all the other actors did an amazing job too.

I liked 2nd couple too and I loved that they both always trusted each other and stood for and with each other. the 3rd couple... i mean more like hinted couple, our girls. I really liked them too. i wish we had some sort of confirmation or them maybe go on a first day but it's OK in my heart they will eventually get together 🤭🤭

So different than I expected and... I love it!!

So, I started watching this after seeing a few edits online and watching the trailer, I was afraid that the series would be to 'violent' or something like kinnporsch, but I'm actually really satisfied! This series definitely surprises me, I wasn't expecting the main couple (Keen and Than) to be soooo cute!

I actually really like how cold Than in the beginning was.. and Keen irritated me. I just really disliked how Keen was acting the first few episodes going against what Than wanted and I liked that he finally got to that realisation after some time. Another small thing I disliked, is how fast they fell in love, I was anxious there was gonna be a lot of drama the last few episodes and when it comes to their relationship there wasn't!

Anyway's I really liked this show and I'm definitely gonna rewatch it!

"How can I make this about me" probably said Keen.

The idea of the series itself is nice. Having a romance story about boxing, which is not really explored in BLs, is creative and it really adds to the value of this BL. It was executed nicely. I know nothing about boxing, but I think that, contrary to some other series, the boxing part does not get lost behind the relationship. They really did find a good balance between the boxing, the love relationship and the plot.

Now, I'm going to be honest. To me, Keen (the main character) is very insufferable, making everything about him every time. Thun has a problem that he does not feel comfortable sharing, and Keen is like "Well, if you don't share it, it means you don't trust me, and we shouldn't be together.". Thun is not okay with what Keen does, he shares it and gets absolutely dismissed like what he says does not matter. I think people don't talk enough about the domestic violence that Keen did. Because yeah, slapping your boyfriend is NOT ok, and it should not be romantized. I like the other characters, especially the side couple and Ait, who, even if he did wrong, had at least a reason to do what he did. But Keen is just disrespectful to whoever is not ok with him, and I hate him for that.

Another problem that made it hard for me to watch is the scenes being extremely long. I don't know if it's only a feeling of mine, but it seems like the director did not want to cut, and sometimes you have three full minutes on just them looking at each other. I understand the need to want to show everything, but sometimes it was soooo long.

Overall, I didn't hate the drama, because the story was good and very innovative. The actors are good and the cinematic construction also. I just didn't love it either, because they made the whole world revolve around Keen.

This could have been fun but was lacking instead

This series could have been good but the story was way too fast to want to keep watching, the lack good story flow and unrealistic lead pair getting together to fast was boring and Keen is a horrible child like character that is in everyone else business but his own. I am sure the actors are great but this series is lacking in the chemistry and story flow department. This series could have been great but the lead pairing got together in 3 episode which was so boring because they needed more drama in the storyline before getting together and what you got was boring love it first sight which looked bad on them and turned this into a fluff piece instead of adult acting. Keen character is horrible and childlike that he is an adult college graduate who sis smart and yet acts like a 16 year old opening his mouth where he should not. I loved the co-cast and Thun was great but this series needed some work. Ending was horrible.

this show was a knock out

This was a banger, a knock out if you will. Yeah, this was a fun one, and despite some flaws, I enjoyed it. I would give it an 8.5 (8.7) out of 10. What I liked, what I didn't like, overview, and final thoughts. (Also, I might be heavily biased because I love shows like this lmao, spoiler timeeee).

Okay, what I liked. I think the first thing that comes to my mind is the plot. Well, it definitely had some holes in it (which I will go into depth about later), and I felt like we were running in circles around each other for a lot of it. I don't know, I also liked the Protecter X needs to be protected. And they didn't even have a weird dynamic, like it was oh no my parents are dead, and the oh I am cosplaying as poor and I am very standoffish. Let's fuck. Like that's the vibe of this show, and it's fun. Next is their chemistry. This is, I think, their first show together, and hopefully not their last, because their chemistry was gorgeous and made this so much easier to watch. Their sex scenes were good, their dynamic was good, it didn't really feel forced at all, and I think that's great. Also, the random second couple was also so fun, like I felt like I was sneaking around with them while they were trying to keep everything hidden. It was such a fun aspect to this show that I enjoyed as well. OUR VILLAINS, okay, so great plot twists with all of that because I was not expecting it all, and then when it finally came out, they didn't stop, and I think that is amazing. Phuwish, or whatever his name is, was such a good villain because I genuinely thought he was a good guy and that I was just going crazy, but nope. Fantastic job. Also, his little dog. Everyone, including the boxer guy's dad, folded so hard, but not him. This guy did not stop, and that is what makes the BEST villains. They don't know when to stop. Doubled down to the very end, which was great. Uh yeah. There might be more, but that is it for now. Keen's character. YESSSSS. They wanted him to be this airhead submissive guy, but he is so fucking smart, and that was so fun in this show, and I enjoyed it a lot.

What I did not like. Running circles around this fucking plot. Oh, we are broke, oh we have money, oh we are in debt, oh this, oh that. Like fuck off. We need this fucking plot to move my lord. Heavy on that. It has such a good plot and such a good start, but when they start doing the run-around bullshit, I am like my lordddd. Also, I have two things: their relationship in some parts and some of their sex scenes. They touched on my problem with this in the special episode, but their relationship was lowkey shit. And they were like cute and shit, but they really REALLY needed to develop this out more instead of making their dynamic more like uh I get something out of this relationship. Yeah, they just needed more foundation to their relationship, and they became very aware of this in the special, but not in this, which was kind of annoying. Next, and the final idea that comes to mind is their sex scenes. They were great, don't get me wrong, but some of them, AND ONLY SOME, were so fucking random my lord. Like they were just having sex to have sex, and they should have used this time to develop their relationship. Yeah, I think that's it. Not it, THE RIDDLE. Fuck that, that was so fucking boring, my lord. We spent way too long on that, and ya girl was out the entire time. SO FUCK THAT.

Overview time, y'all. This show also took me a while to finish, but I did it. My university's internet is so ass, my lord. The guy who plays (I forgot his fucking name), the bottom has a very submissive face, my lord. Interesting setup. I enjoyed how it didn't take them 12 episodes to fight people. "He didn't care what or who he was going to lose {to}; he just wanted to be number 1." WIN AND AITTTTT. "I forgot we were boxing {for a second} because these two were oiling each other up." My man and the main villain got introduced. "Someone get Keen in the ring, please. That smack was nasty." Around the halfway mark, the show got mid so fast, because the plot started to get confusing. And then it got better because I waited 2 months lmao. THEM GETTING INVOLVED IN AN UNDERGROUND FIGHT CLUB?????? HELLOOO? "Hia getting on my nerves Hia this hia that. Ait tell Win to lock in." "They're doing anything but boxing, I swear." Typhoon's random redemption because he was never evil, just in love WAS PEAK. Yut said fuck everyone. TERRIBLE WAY TO GO OUT. Sex scene yay. And then that's it.

And that brings us to the end. Yeah, I would recommend this show, but it does have a lot of things wrong with it, and one of those is the plot towards the middle. But if you can get through that, it's amazing, with good sex scenes. Okay bye!

Muay Thai, great chemistry, and exactly what it needed to be

Sometimes a series doesn't need to reinvent anything. Muay Thai setting, a good-looking pair with genuinely strong physical chemistry, and a story that knows what it's doing with both — sign me up, and I mean that without irony.
NiceGun work well together in every sense, and that's honestly the core of why this series succeeds for me. The chemistry is there in the quieter moments and it's there in the intimate scenes, and when a pairing clicks that consistently it carries a lot. The Muay Thai backdrop gives the show a specific texture and energy that I found genuinely engaging — there's something about the discipline and physicality of that world that feeds into the dynamic between the characters in a way that feels intentional.
Is it a masterpiece? No. Does it break new ground or do anything particularly unexpected with its premise? Also no. But it's confident in what it is, it delivers on what it promises, and I had a genuinely good time with it. Sometimes that's exactly enough.

Knock Out — Living in the Shadow of a Better Sports BL

It's difficult to judge Knock Out on its own because I've already seen what a great combat-sport BL can look like. Wandee Goodday proved that Muay Thai could become much more than a backdrop for a romance. The sport influenced the characters, the story, and even the way the relationships evolved. Unfortunately, Knock Out never reaches that level. Instead of using boxing to create emotional intensity, it often feels like the gloves are simply another prop in an otherwise ordinary BL.

The premise had plenty of potential. Boxing naturally creates discipline, sacrifice, pain, and personal growth. It should have been the perfect environment to build a believable romance. Instead, the sport rarely feels essential to the story. Most of the time, it simply provides the setting while the romance unfolds almost independently of it. I kept waiting for the emotional stakes inside and outside the ring to merge, but that moment never truly arrived.

The biggest problem, however, is the chemistry.

I never fully believed the relationship between the two leads. Individually, the actors do a respectable job, and I wouldn't call either performance bad. But together, something is missing. Their romantic scenes never made me forget I was watching actors. I understood what the script wanted me to feel, but I rarely felt emotionally involved. In a genre where the central couple carries almost the entire story, that's a major weakness.

The acting overall is decent, especially during the training and fight sequences. The physical preparation is convincing enough, and the production deserves credit for making the boxing scenes feel authentic. Ironically, I often enjoyed those moments more than the romance itself. Whenever the story focused on the sport, it found some energy. As soon as it returned to the love story, that momentum quickly disappeared.

Another issue is the pacing. Despite taking place in such an intense environment, the series often feels surprisingly slow. Emotional conflicts are repeated several times without really evolving, making certain episodes drag more than they should. I finished the drama feeling that several scenes could have been cut without affecting the overall story.

Visually, the production is perfectly respectable. The gym atmosphere is convincing, the fights are well staged, and the cinematography captures the physicality of boxing nicely. Unfortunately, good production values can't replace emotional investment. By the end, I admired the effort more than I enjoyed the romance.

Final Thought

Knock Out isn't a bad BL, but it's an average one built around a setting that deserved much more. After watching Wandee Goodday, it's impossible not to compare the two, and that's where Knock Out struggles the most. One series made combat sports an essential part of its storytelling. The other simply uses boxing as a backdrop. The result is a perfectly watchable drama that never delivers the emotional knockout its title promises.
