Those drugs are not fully illegal/unapproved in Korea, only controlled!

I was prescribed both methylphenidate (concerta) and atomoxetine (strattera) in South Korea (but not simultaneously) so I know a bit about this... The episode said they are only for high-risk patients. Not sure what that means. All you really need is an official ADHD diagnosis.

ADHD meds do not have a 'focus' effect on those without ADHD... they will actually often make your cognitive skills worse and make you anxious and jittery. Just like excessive caffeine, since methylphenidate is also a stimulant. The only ADHD meds that are fully illegal in Korea are the amphetamine-based ones, such as lisdexamfetamine. The kid was taking straight up meth, though lol - completely illegal everywhere.

Another shameful mother

In a previous episode it was a perfectionist mother of five years child torturing an innocent teacher because of "problems" with kids. And now we have a mother obsessed with being accepted and for that she uses her only child, forcing him to become something he doesn't want by heart. It is really shamefull.
