While working on their graduation documentary about ten eerie abandoned buildings, university students Xu and Ren inadvertently stumble upon a mysterious cult site. Suspecting something is amiss, Xu’s mother arranges a family vacation to unwind, unknowingly plunging them into the sinister web of the cult. After the entire Xu family mysteriously vanishes, the complete footage ends up in the hands of an internet influencer. Upon its release, the video sparks intense online discussions and even prompts rescue efforts. Amidst the commotion, the influencer teases the impending release of a personal recording from Xu’s perspective, announcing a live stream from the location of their disappearance.
