Sinful Marriage

Smart and ruthless Female Lead, smart male lead, both FL fight to change the lives. Both FL believe there more to a woman life than marriage and have children.

Both dramas have strong female leads who know what they want. The ML in Threads of Destiny becomes supportive early on while the ML of Sinful Marriage remains an “enemy” a bit longer. Great chemistry in both dramas.

-have misunderstandings upon misunderstandings
-ML are yandere or yandere-esque (TOW almost instantly, SM midway or 3/4)
-ML are cruel or ruthless to others
-deal with satisfying complicated revenge plots
-have relationships that often feel sadistic, feelings are taken out on another for something that wasn't their fault. (SM onto FL, TOW briefly onto FL but mostly onto ML.)
-ML are political figures, some of the stories are adjacent to or are a part of political happenings

Some of the few dramas I can certainly say without a doubt have the same or similar energy

Both heroines are delightfully crazy and ruthless. The male leads match them in both madness and cruelty.

Enemies to lovers working towards the same end game. Though the leads in D&D are not as crazy, the tension and chemistry between both dramas are great. Also historical/period dramas that lean into political themes.

Very strong and determined female and male characters in both dramas. Here, the main character seeks revenge, but in her relentlessness and vindictiveness, the heroine is no less than him. A love relationship that begins with a lie.

FL in Sinful Marriage might not be as strong as Fu Yixiao psychally. But she's really smart, brave, and straightforward. She feared no one and nothing, loved herself so much. Main couple relationship was similar to Fated Hearts. They started as enemy, but working together to solve the problem. Eventho they were always being sarcastic to each other
