So You Also Like Me (2024)

Decent drama with weak emotional chemistry from Leads.

I was finding Lu Lulu drama with Ma Shiyao and found it with the sub after a while.

A story of a stoic special forces soldier versus a doctor.

The adopted daughter is the antagonist, ruthless and manipulative. ML's nephew is a scumbag with an inexplicable self-confidence. Lu Lulu's portrayal of the female lead is as dashing as ever, while Ma Shi Yao's portrayal of the male lead appears younger than her. The core plot revolves around a sweet, mutual love story, but the emotional tension between the leads still weak. Plot is quite fast pace.

Those who enjoy misunderstandings resolved and reconciliations, and who can accept antagonists driving the plot and relatively mild romantic interactions between the leads, might find it worth watching.

So You Also Like Me(2024) is a nice romance miniseries with ML: Ma Shi Yao (as Gu Cheng An) and FL: Lu Lu Lu (as Ji Ci) in the leading couple’s role. The cast did a good job bringing their characters to life and, although the leading couple had great chemistry, they were apart more times than together. Still, this miniseries is entertaining and it is about 66 minutes long.
