Uuuh this was a fun one

(sorry for any mistakes beforehand. I am writing this at 3am and won‘t have time to proof read immediately)

Has the trope of „close proximity“ and „only one bed“ lol.

The good stuff:
- I didn‘t know anything about the plot before starting, so the way I perked up when the princess switch plan started. Immediately hooked.
- big props to all actors, they did great. Becky with her double role definitely stood out. 90% of the time I saw the characters as two separate people. But also ‚Grace‘, how Renée played her 👏👌. Definitely got scared at times.
- the action scenes were great. Nice tension, good fighting scenes.
- I loved the daughter father dynamic between General Wathit and Lom. hehe
- as always so far I really enjoyed when the other cousins plus their wives appear and interact with each other. As well as other recurring characters like Fah the journalist.
- that people got seriously hurt and/or died. Put the stakes quite high and the danger has to be taken seriously
- the villain monologue with her background story with that singing gave me chills.
- The bridal bouquet with the flowers. Mmh.

The meh stuff:
- For this one I thought „ye, this has the right amount of episodes“ until the last episode happened. Again a 1h 30min long one and the giving up her title and then the wedding happened a little to quickly. The struggle duty vs love was a little too short.
- Generally the part with Blew not knowing what (romantic) love is yet was introduced a little late for me.
- I would‘ve loved to see more of the main villains, especially during that two episode island „retreat“ in the middle of the series. The plot slowed down a little too much there. A simple radio or TV report on the whereabouts of the impostor princess and co. would‘ve been enough. Just so we always remember what‘s at stake and try to figure out what the villains next step could be. The actively executing bad guys were a good threat but I would‘ve loved to see a little more movement from the master(s) of the plan. Especially once the original plan didn‘t work out.
- That the father didn‘t even show up for the second wedding. Nor the brother (at least he is in contact with Blew) There I was a little sad on behalf of Blew. Maybe we get a reunion in an overarching special episode. I hope so. Would be sad if we left it like this.
- I thought the fact that Lom is a serial flirter (dater?) would be a bit more relevant throughout. I mean it was but then again not. She was smitten with Blew from the get go which struck me as odd compared to the Lom we know from Earth & Air. And in the last episode I got a little confused. So, is Lom just a flirtatious person but that‘s it…? No flings? No situationships? No serial unserious dating? How convenient. That would‘ve thrown the plot overboard otherwise.
- something about the bouquet going to Fai…

…I think I had more to say but my brain is fried now. I can‘t think anymore. I will go to sleep (at some point rewatch the series) and then edit this review again.

Like a Soup without Pepper

Oyyyyyyy this is actually my first time watch FreenBecky GL drama and Surprisingly its GOOD.

Okay, i have read some of the Review before watching this Drama and i agree with one review that say this is like Disney Princess drama GL Ver. and i kinda like it. The intensity, the Drama, the progress, the ACTION ??? no doubt its really good.

I kinda love how P'Nam always be the one that late to the scene just because how busy she is XD.

My only problem with this drama is actually came from the Last Episode, from 1 to 7 i like it, i love it, the pace the action is really good, but the last episode kinda giving me a "WAIT!!! Pep Neung *WithNamtanVoice", I respect how Princess Blew actually tell the truth to King Arthur about her sadness, about how she love Lom, BUT why you only address how short they met ??? Blew is a Soon to be a Queen and YOU ONLY ASK ABOUT HOW SHORT THEY MET ??? Mister, your soon to be Queen Daughter is having a fling with a women, WITH A WOMEN !!! I think that is the first thing that should be your main concern and anger towards her BEFORE kicking her out of the Palace. its not that I'm homophobic or something, its just feel like something missing, its like a soup without pepper or salt, there something missing the DRAMA, the ANGER, a lil bit Sadness, a lil bit crying, THATS the only missing piece in my opinion. The rest is already good as it is.

Expected more....But got Disappointed

I would say this is the Series that everyone, not only FreenBecky fans waited for. I expected a lot for this, not just because of the cast, but mainly because of the story line as well as it is the 3rd series of the 4 Elements. I found Rebecca as a real world princess, God man! She herself looks like a princess, but for Freen, I must say she looks slay in the bodyguard look and her cloths are Fine as Wine, but something still stops me from accepting that she is not the right one for this role. I couldn't feel the Strong Famine with her, this is a series where the main lead must look strong but her fights and gun fights seems so dull without any range of power pack actions. I even felt like romance were being forces between them. I expect Lom to be more strong especially for this role, but all I got is disappointment, I thought I am the one, but I could hear from lots of people about the flaws, review and ratings are fine, but apart from Earth, Water and Fire...We all know Air is the most awaited one, but surprisingly I found Earth and Water more engaging and good to watch.
I'm completely okay with Becky's role, but had a huge disappointment on Freen, the cousins I'll never blame them, the way Rose looks mature, Din's down bad nature for wife, Lada's glow insane glow after her marriage and Nam being focused on only her wife and work made me enjoy those scenes, tbh I loved watching them as a married couple more than focusing on the main leads. One thing I'm still enjoying is Fai's relationship with her cousin, I loved her in every elements, here too the way she gave her Heart and Soul to help Lom is beyond Everything.

If anyone want's too see the Air, give it a try but I won't suggest it for the re-watch thing, as Air is Kinda bore in my knowledge, but you will all love The Earth and Water...both the Cousins are hell Green Forest and do watch Fire, cuz apart from all her cousins she's gonna fall harder for her wify a lot😂😂

Cute watch

So, theres a few things I feel like I should mention in my review here. Overall, The Air was an enjoyable watch, although there were definitely a few things that bothered me. One of the biggest was the way the foreign setting/characters were handled. I’ve had a similar issue with other shows where a character is from a foreign country but somehow speaks a language that isn’t particularly close to their own, especially when the country isn’t even a neighbouring one. It just felt a little strange to me and gave me some weird vibes from the beginning. Minor details since this is a Thai show so it makes a lot of sense that they would mainly be speaking Thai, so none there its just the whole Blew's apparent mother tongue being english but speaks Thai more without having any anglicisms or loosing words, I myself grew up bilingual so it was a weird ick, but it didnt take me so out of the show too much.

I also felt like the romance between Vayo and Blew was a little rushed. It was cute, and I enjoyed watching them together, but I wish the show had given their relationship more time to develop naturally, maybe making it a 12 episodes and not 8 it couldve been explored more. Because of how quickly their feelings progressed, some of the emotional moments didn’t hit quite as strongly for me as I think they were meant to.

This was also my first 4 Elements series, so there may have been some things I missed or appreciated less because I didn't have the context from the other 2 shows that had already finihsed airing. That's probably partly on me. Even so, I still had a good time watching it, and despite my criticisms, I think The Air was a solid and enjoyable watch overall.

Where is the romance? Where is the life?

I read the novel and just watched episode 8, and it was disappointing. I liked the fact that the series gave Blew a little more personality and initiative, in the book she barely shows who she is. But at the same time they killed Vayo. Where is all that charm and joy that she used when talking to her crushes? Where's that funny, naughty person who made us laugh while making fun of her cousins? She seems to be afraid of Blew even after they finally get together. Why would it be so? Did she get depression after the whole escape?
The first two episodes were wonderful, I have nothing to complain about. But the quality was dropping a lot. It was the same action repeated a thousand times in each episode, the same scared face from Lom and the same strange smiling expression from Blew.
Freenbeky was very poorly used in this series, I just remembered that it was them in the beautiful final kiss because they know how to deliver a beautiful kiss.
