Bad acting & no chemistry, gosh I was bored to tears
I have a column on reddit where I compare 2 short dramas that are based on one source. I found out that this drama is suitable for my column. I watched and...felt disappointed.What I liked:
1. FL characterisation - I liked that FL was a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner.
2. Supporting characters - I really liked ML's mother. She was smart in her approach to get to know FL. I also liked FL's adopted family who was kind to her.
3. ML characterisation - He was Mr Nice Guy.
4. Romance - It was sweet with both being faithful to each other. No bai yue guang drama, well that imposter's act didn't last.
What I disliked:
1. Acting - Huang Hao Wen was stiff that he made the ML bland. There was no chemistry between him and Shi Tong. The couple felt like 2 friends who just happy being married. I was bored to tears watching this drama. I wrote an article on my laptop with this drama playing on my tablet.
2. Antagonist - FL's ex was horrible and so was his mom. His bai yue guang was manipulative.

Finding Love By Leaving the Dark Past
I love this drama. It is pure love and redemption. Less violent, no major abuses even though the FL suffered great emotional pain but the ML loved her purely and unconditionally. The ML and the FL are handsome and beautiful and have great chemistry. The ML really spent time and was consistent in loving and caring for the FL to the point that she gained recovery and strength and inspiration as a beloved of her husband.The family of the ML is so wonderful and loving. They are a joyful family from the grandfather and parents. They are so supportive of their son and very kind to the FL.
Even the villains are very tame in this drama. I highly recommend this.

A passos lentos
A história é desenvolvida a passos bem lentos. Inicia-se já na ruptura da FL com o falso parceiro para o casamento com o ML. A partir daí é mostrado mais a rotina diária deles para o desenvolvimento do sentimento dela para com ele, todas as suas inseguranças, inibições e até a baixa estima que foram causadas pelos 8 anos de um amor não valorizado.Mas confesso que, apesar da FL defender o ML para todos sempre que necessário, ela não era nenhum pouco proativa no relacionamento em si, a não ser fazer 1 macarrão logo que casaram e um café da manhã. 99% dos beijos que tiveram na história foi pela iniciativa do ML, nunca da FL.
E o final parece meio desnecessário a suposta noiva e a tia avulsa no rolê aparecer para uma participação tão curta, era mais fácil ter rumores na mídia como foi o plot inicial do que isso kkkkk
Enfim, chegou uma hora que fiquei cansada pela FL.
