This should be called tales of people who utterly failed Zhaodi.

And that scum of the earth being the worst of the bunch!!!! My goodness, the uno reverse of his character was incredibly disgusting. I mean, props to the actor, who brought to life such an utterly vile character. It's like every male figure (and one or two idiotic female figures) in her life only existed to cause her pain. I was amazed the ML could interview them without knocking out all their teeth.

Everyone failed home girl, and I stuck to the end to see who and what the plot twist was. I started it thinking it would be something I would sleep off to, but I found myself wanting to see what happens next. Not sure why, but I couldn't find episode 9. Still, I could understand the story.

I liked that there's no wasted scene or drawn-out conversations, hence why I think this short-form format works for the story. Everything does come together, you just have to pay attention so you don't miss it. All in all, I truly enjoyed this for a short series. I wasn't too convinced by the end, but I think it fits- Karma does come in all shapes and sizes.

A Spooky Investigation Told Across Timelines

This was a good watch. I did have some issues with the pacing—the storytelling felt a bit sleepy at times—but the overall narrative was really unique. It follows a constable investigating a series of crimes connected to a girl he loved when he was younger. The story unfolds under the cover of eerie events told through different characters, and we weave their accounts together into a full backstory as the timeline shifts between past and present. I thought the execution and plot angles were handled well, and it hit all the spooky marks. Some of the flashback sequences dragged a little, but overall, this was a solid watch.
