Midori lives with her father, Youji. Since her mother passed away, her father, who writes picture books for a living, has been unable to write anymore. One day, Youji brings home a Chinese woman named Rinrin, and she becomes Midori's stepmother. Due to differences in personality and culture, Midori becomes embarrassed and can't accept Rinrin as her stepmother. Youji then draws a picture book for his daughter Midori. Edit Translation
