Simply a comfort watch

I really enjoyed this series. It doesn't introduce anything new to the genre but it also doesn't go overboard with the standard romantic tropes...they are certainly there but moderated over what has become all to common in romantic dramas.

I really enjoyed the acting by Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun. I felt they played their characters excellently. Park Ji-hyun did a great job playing someone that had given 7 years of her life to a one sided relationship that had not seen proper closure. While it was sometimes frustrating to watch her struggle to move on from her ex and with her jealousy over Si-woo's ex, the way she portrayed those emotions was just right – making her character understandable rather than irritating.

Seo In-guk's portrayal of Si-woo was equally good. Rather than the standard purely stoic ML, his subtle grins and caring glances added a lot of depth to his character. While Si-woo is an excellent example of a green flag courtship, I did think he was a bit too accommodating to some of Ji-yoon's insecurities. The seesaw metaphor that comes up in one of Ji-yun's discussions is an excellent example for a healthy relationship.

The workplace drama is your standard bad boss / conniving executive trope but fortunately the series doesn't spend an inordinate amount of time on it. It was frustrating for there not to have been any repercussions for the sabotage they committed as there was ample proof of their guilt and it was something that could have affected the entire company.

As with almost all romantic drama's I wish they'd spent more time with the secondary romance. Kang Mi-na and Won Gyu-bin did a great job with their characters and I'd have liked to see them fleshed out more (too bad the secondary romance is seen as obligatory to have yet rarely given the time it deserves)

The last episode was a bit weird. While the ending itself was satisfying, what they did with Si-woo's character was strange and somewhat out of left field.

So while the series did have some issues, I did enjoy it throughout. The minor irritations were far outweighed by the vicarious pleasure of watching Si-woo and Ji-yoon budding relationship.

NOTE: as others have mentioned, the English dubbing is horrible. While I always watch Asian dramas in their native language with English subtitles, for some reason, Prime video was set for the thumbnail trailer to blast out the version with the English dubbing...it was almost enough to make me not want to watch it.

Recycled Tropes and Zero Chemistry

I can somewhat understand screenwriters, but I’ll never get why actors keep accepting the exact same recycled storylines. It’s the same cliché plot we’ve seen a million times—all they did was change the company’s industry. A cold boss, petty misunderstandings, absurd breakup reasons, and the female lead’s "unsolvable" inner conflict that could literally be fixed in two minutes.
I’m genuinely exhausted and dropping this after episode 8. It offers nothing in terms of plot or romance. The leads have zero chemistry, and their relationship feels completely forced. Honestly, every time they share a scene, the show seems to drop into agonizing slow motion. No real dialogue, no romantic spark—just endless slow-mo walking, talking, and staring at each other.
I'm officially done with this show.

WHITEWASHED, SHALLOW, overly simple, meaningless. Not a kdrama but Kwood. No com. Almost no rom

This is such a shallow and bland series. It is not a kdrama, but Kwood. It is labeled as rom com but there is NO com and honestly there is no rom either, except a little bit for second leads. First leads are two very shallow cowards. ML behaves like a robot, and FL behaves like a middle school teenager

The drama is whitewashed sterile neutral so that it does not piss off any audience and it is easy to understand even for dummies.
In other words, it is completely watered down so that no flavor is left.
Sure, it is "safe" and "politically correct" but it is BLAND BLAND BLAND BORING BORING BORING
There is almost no meaningful deep dialogues that change people and resolve issues and problems. Two unhealed adults are so isolated in their own little world that they seem like they are floating in outer space. The sequence of gray scenes, gray scenery, stationary and unexpressive actors. Very Western, very Hwood, very * S H A L L O W * and thus BORING TO DEATH.

Like we are watching a senior home where people are deaf and demented so they never interact, move, express their feelings, talk to each other. THERE IS ALMOST NO DEEP TALKING WITH EACH OTHER nor deep self reflection.

We never see ML reflecting and changing. We see FL doing stupid things. Neither one communicaates and both keep secrets. .

It is totally lacking the sophistication, depth, humor, satire, jestering, social commentary, community work, self introspection, character growth, deep dialogues, and community growth that is the signature of all real kdramas.

The poker faced , mostly stationary ML and his unwavering dedication to FL is just BORING TO DEATH, and the immature flakey FL is just disgusting sexism - of all things that are characteristic of kdramas, only that one rare fault of kdramas, the sexist portrayal of an immature loser women, was kept.

I switched to watch old kdramas such as It's OK That's Love. Once I finish watching iconic old kdramas I havent seen yet, there might be nothing left to watch.

pathetic FL | no sparks whatsoever

I don't like FL's character at all. Even the makeup doesn't help, she looks 20 years older than she is. She is absolutely unbearable, and EMOTIONALLY immature.

FL and ML dont have aby chemistry.

why most of women act like children, why don't act like grown adults. So tired of this. They are very good at work but the private life, emotional, communication is disastrous. And dont do anything to grow.

I would love to see women and men that inspire us emotional, mental, creative... I was waiting to see this series. now, o mega disappointed in k land.

It was such an effort to watch and finish the 6th episode. Two bland people who meet in an office.

I like the second couple, the acting, the chemistry. I wish Seo In Guk to choose better scripts and to have good parteners in acting, that evidence his talent and uniqueness. This man is a pleasure to watch him. Sadly the drama was a floppy.

ai commercial?

the characters really start well. they both are smart and handle office problems well but the events after first four eps and their concerns don't make sense to me and hence the flow is also very off. it honestly felt just like how they say in one of the ep "let's make a drama to show off our AI products" and it indeed ends up giving a very beautiful commerical for integration of AI in home appliances. But really why would consumers spend so much money only for the companies to extract so much data through AI integration and give minimal safety features and most importantly make everything subscription based?

Feels Like Dropping It, But Still Clocking In!

I like the story and all, the sweetness of FL and ML scenes and the second couple are really nice. I know conflicts should make the story interesting, but just for me, I've seen the tropes way too much in every office-related drama series, and the conflicts sometimes can be unbearable to watch. What just really brings it to me is the actors are doing their part really well. I would commend Ga-Eul's actor as he represent the most clingy and pathetic ex, and the Mr. Ko's actor as well for acting the stereotypical office drama boss who likes to play on his superiority on the others. Overall, wished that it could just be different.

I go on vibes and this office romance brought them all!

Reading some reviews, I see this show wasn’t to everyone’s tastes.
But for me, this was an office romance that hit just right!

It wasn’t overly dramatic; the pace and flow were done so well. And when conflict between the couple cropped up, it was resolved so soon, most often the very next episode! I can’t express my joy for that, when usually, the writers draw that out so much it becomes an utter drag to watch. So, all my hats are off to them for not relying on needless emotional conflict.

What I also appreciated as a watcher of romances in all genres and tropes, is that they had so much open communication. Another rarity! Feelings were confessed, thoughts, inner fears and insecurities were discussed! I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, as we’re used to – there is always an episode before the end that everything goes to hell and your heart is dragged through the angst.
But it never came!
The finale was so sweet and lovely.
I can understand why this office romance wasn’t for everyone, but this one felt like it was written for me specially, lol.
I adore the MMC and his low lidded dreamy, yearning eyes.
And now I’m a fan of the FMC, too.

A side note to say I loved the supporting cast, especially the work task force. Those twists when we were led to believe two of them were being snakes and then they were not all along – fantastic!
A notable mention for the reverse age gap side story with the second couple. One of my fave tropes, so I enjoyed this immensely.

And because I’ve mentioned things being rare several times, I’ll close my review by mentioning how great it was that his ex-wife was lovely and supportive! Not a lick of drama from her.

An all-around gentle and heartwarming drama I will absolutely watch again.
Low angst, minimal unnecessary drama, and adorable characters.

An adult romance - Early impression

2 episodes in and I'm pleasantly surprised.

The drama initially makes it look like a very fast-burn office romance, but what's actually drawing me in is that the attraction seems to be based on competence first. The ML didn't notice the FL because she's pretty; he noticed her because she's ambitious, full of ideas, and genuinely good at her job. The romance is growing out of admiration and respect rather than pure physical attraction.

That makes it feel much more like an adult romance to me. The workplace story is just as important as the romantic one, and so far the two are complementing each other really well.

Interested to see where it goes.

A Refreshingly Real Start to an Office Romance!

As someone who has been waiting far too long for another Seo In Guk drama, I went into See You at Work Tomorrow! with high expectations—and after Episode 1, I'm relieved to say it didn't disappoint. What immediately stood out was how natural everything felt. This isn't a flashy rom-com that throws dramatic meet-cutes and over-the-top conflicts at viewers in the first hour. Instead, the episode takes its time introducing exhausted office worker Cha Ji-yoon and the everyday struggles of corporate life. The workplace setting feels authentic, from the endless deadlines to the emotional burnout that many viewers will probably relate to. Of course, the biggest highlight was Seo In Guk. He has always had a talent for making even the smallest expressions feel meaningful. His character comes across as calm and composed on the surface, but there are subtle hints that there's much more going on underneath. Even with limited screen time devoted to backstory, he commands attention whenever he's on screen. What I appreciated most was the drama's mature tone. Rather than rushing into romance, the first episode focuses on the characters' emotional states and the realities of working life. That slower approach gives the story room to breathe and makes the developing relationship feel like something worth investing in.
After just one episode, it's too early to judge the overall story, but the premiere successfully hooked me. The writing feels grounded, the chemistry is already promising, and Seo In Guk's return alone makes this a drama I'm excited to follow every week. If Episode 1 is any indication, See You at Work Tomorrow! could end up being one of the most relatable workplace romances of the year.
