Had potential, turned out disappointing
I hesitated to write a review for a while, so I took some time to gather my thoughts. This series had potential, but for me it ended up disappointing and it wasn’t for the reason some people assume. It’s not about Doha not ending up with the team leader. Honestly, I would’ve been fine even if he ended up with the barista; that wasn’t the main issue.
What bothered me:
A lot of viewers rooted for the best friend early on because he initially came across as a green flag (not everyone, but many did). But his character kept getting worse and worse. I’m used to seeing characters start off red flag and eventually get character development, especially if they’re meant to be the final couple , but this felt like the opposite. I went from “I don’t mind if they end up together” to “I definitely don’t want them together.”
His behavior turned into ragebait at some point. The non consensual kiss already crossed a boundary , if your friend can’t feel safe being vulnerable around you, that’s a problem, then i thought let's ignore that and move on then he became controlling and aggressive: Doha couldn’t talk to a guy without being lectured, and the best friend even punched someone who did nothing wrong and just because he is jealous. Meanwhile, he walked around acting like he was allowed to do whatever he wanted and that's supposed to be romantic.
When Doha asked for space to think, I was ready to like the best friend again if he respected that. But instead he kept pushing. Someone tells you they need space , especially after that kiss and him feeling confused and your response is to pressure them? at somepoint he is just screaming red flag
I didn't bother watching the last 2 eps , there is no way im going to magically like it or root for them.
As for Doha himself… he looked like a grown man but often acts helpless with the mind of a small kid ,i wish he stand up for himself ,this show could have been so much better

Bad start
A 28-year-old man who has never kissed anyone. If the reason is anything other than not accepting his own homosexuality or a past trauma, it’s hard to believe. It really feels like a not-very-realistic series. As for the story itself, the idea is good: three men in love with the same person. The problem is that this highly desired main character is wanted for strange reasons: he’s immature, inconsistent, and seems to have no passion other than drinking, even though he can’t handle alcohol at all. He constantly gets himself into unlikely situations, easily avoidable. We have no idea what they see in him.
The episode 5 trailer looks like it might finally move the plot forward a bit, so I’m staying for now. Let’s hope it gets better.

Watched 2 Episodes and I’m Already Planning Doha & Taekgyeong Wedding?haha..
Peach Trap is honestly my new BL obsession. Doha is so cute that three guys end up falling for him .. the handsome and caring team leader Jeon, Haram the cafe guy who got'eliminated' way too fast, and Taekgyeong, Doha childhood friend who protects him like a VIP bodyguard.Yes, team leader Jeon has the looks and the gentleman vibes. BUT the chemistry between Doha and Taekgyeong is on a whole different level. They feel natural, sweet, and ridiculously adorable together. Taekgyeong clearly sees Doha as someone way more special, even though Doha just treats him like “just a friend.”
And Haram..thank you for participating. Better luck next drama......😂
Even by Episode 2, the show still hasn't revealed who Doha endgame is, and maybe he might end up with Jeon..but I'm 100% Team Taekgyeong. Every time he appears, I'm like: 'Yes. That's him. That's the husband.’
Overall, Peach Trap is cute, fluffy, funny, and dangerously addictive. Once you start it, good luck trying to stop..

November was full of sweet, feel good series, giving me my weekly dose of cuteness. I honestly loved this one way more than I expected. It’s definitely not the deepest BL of the year, but it’s a super cozy slice of life, light, fun, charming, ridiculously cute, and surprisingly emotional all the way to the end. No big dramatic twists, just the perfect kind of show to binge after something heavier.Do Ha had to choose between the safety Yeon Sang offered, the familiarity of Gyeon, and the intensity of Ha Ram. Watching his emotional growth was really interesting. In the end, Do Ha realized that Gyeon had always been there for him, taking care of him. Honestly, I think Do Ha was in love with Gyeon all along but was too scared to admit it. That punch landed perfectly. Gyeon instinctively knew Ha Ram didn’t have good intentions. Still, it was nice that Ha Ram owned up to his mistakes and apologized to Do Ha.
Even though I was rooting for Do Ha and Gyeon, I felt sad that Yeon Sang didn’t get the same chance Ha Ram did to find a love interest. Highlight of the series: the adorable wing mom.

A Delightful If Belated Coming-Of-Age Romance/Comedy
I'm genuinely surprised by the number of negative reviews this has gotten so far. For me, it's easily in my top 10 list of BL's ever. To me it's a (somewhat belated, perhaps) coming-of-age comedy/romance that is like spun sugar--incredibly sweet, heartfelt, funny and touching. Yes, the production values are minimalist, but that works perfectly here, as there's no need for grand sets or big action scenes. All of the actors are superb, but Jung Su Bin easily steals the show with the most expressive (and hilarious) facial expressions I've seen in a long time. The few moments when is is experiencing consternation about something just make me burst out laughing, actually. So the basic story is that a very sweet and kind young man who's somehow never even had a date in his life suddenly finds himself the object of desire of three incredibly handsome, desirable men, all while he's going through the midst of a major life upheaval. And because he's so kind, he becomes afraid not just of getting hurt, but of hurting someone. The ending is nearly perfect, with a touch of bittersweet for the two who lose out to their love rival, but Yoo Do Ha finally grows up with his first kiss, boyfriend and romance. I really can't recommend this one highly enough for someone just looking for something light, sweet, romantic and very funny. Was this review helpful to you?

The comments are lieing this is a really good light watch
I don't know why people hate this drama soo much with "ugh do ha is dumb for a 27 year old" or "the male leads have no personality". NAH. If this was a straight drama you guys would have went around posting reels on how much of a green forest these guys were or how cute doha was.Where's he rule that a 27 year old can't be timid or talk in a serious tone? Also all 3 MLs had their own personality. Gyeon was this naughty, sweet childhood friend, jeon was this ideal man or 2nd lead who was perfect but couldn't get his man, and ha ram was this manipulative handsome guy.. i think i liked this more than others cz i spoiled myself with the final male lead i.e gyeon so i could watch the series from a pov where there are 2 leads and other sub leads not 4 leads and guessing who is who.
Also i think doha chose the right man. If i were him I'd chose gyeon too cz he stood with doha during his ups and downs all his life and was always there to protect him. Lets forget about haram cz he was kinda a red flag. Some might think jeon was deserving but even if he knew do ha was framed in the start (in real world that could be career ending) but he didn't try to protect him even in the farewell dinner he could do more but he didn’t u can see he hesitated at times while gyeon never had 2nd thoughts when it came to protecting doha.
So yeah its a good drama watch it. The actors are good the story is very relaxing n fluffy. U can watch it on a stressful day and relax❤️

Adorably sweet and wholesome
I love this series so far! It’s light in that there’s no bad guy. Each character is genuine, charming and sincere. And I’m pretty sure each will get a happily ever after. I hope so, anyway. The story is light, but it’s done well without being too cheesy or cringey and it’s easy to connect, on some level, with all of the main guys. But it looks like the next episodes will get a lot deeper and will kick us right in the feelings. It will cover the full range of emotions, so it’s not meaningless fluff. While I do also like the more intense dramas, I am thoroughly enjoying this trend of wholesome bl series. This fits right in with Ballboy Tactics, School Trip, Secret Lover, At 25:00 in Akasaka, etc. I appreciate that this one is a more mature story with working age adults instead of college kids.
Sometimes your soul just needs a good story like this one. And I’m thrilled that we’re getting them lately. I just wish the episodes were longer.

Too Many Hot Guys, Too Little Time
Peach Trap (2025) is such a visual treat! First of all—what a handsome cast! It’s a love square setup, with three tall, hot guys all going after the short main character, and honestly it reminded me of my tall ex (haha!). It’s the kind of drama where you know people will get 2nd-lead syndrome because everyone is so likable. The story itself is simple, but it’s the execution that hooks you. There are conflicts in the MC’s career and relationships, so you keep watching because you want to know who he ends up with, who he kisses, and how everything gets resolved. It’s surprisingly hard to choose a favorite because all the guys are appealing in different ways, like the colors of the rainbow!
The visuals are gorgeous. The cinematography, angles, lighting—everything feels premium. Even the transitional scenes stand out, showing off nature, food, the city… it all adds to the vibe. The music and OST are superb too, and the sound effects gave me a good laugh.
Overall, it’s charming, fluffy, easy to watch, and full of chemistry. If I were the MC, I don’t know how I’d pick either—how to choose when everyone is that attractive? Haha! A fun watch.
