Probably one of the best cbl I've ever watched. Even better than ABO & RL

ABO & RL are totally different genre from this. You can consider those more on the lighter side. Here the plot is thick. The acting is on another level. Yun Qi aka fan has done a damn good job for his debut drama. Hao yi ran aka yao has done a phenomenal job with his role. You know an actor has done a good job when he can make u sad or cry or feel every emotion his character feels. That's exactly what he's done in episode 8 and the reason i thought i should review this now!!

Initially the drama started pretty light. Just a manipulative seme trying to trick the uke into love cz he thinks the uke sees the world a certain way that's not as dark his view of the world. It was pretty fun kinda gave ABO vibes till episode 6... but episode 7 onwards when yao started realising what fan had done and him being in denial trying to deny his love could ever do such a thing to him. Those subtle sadness he shows their interactions even after they makeup🤌🤌🤌 chef's kiss.. u could see him hurting even if he smiled.

He nailed it in the 8th episode where eventhough he realised his love had done that he tried to stay strong tried to deny it one last time and went into the room and said "lust blinds judgement. I lied to myself and others" as he looked at the messed up bed. Kinda trying to deny love trying to make himself believe that it was just lust hoping to feel better from it. He hit the final nail when he came out and revealed to fan what he found. Damn the way he cried asking him what did he ever do to deserve this (literally nothing) and to do 1 last favor by not showing his face to him this life and that he would consider this last year a nightmare 😭😭😭😭😭 yao was never someone who could fall in love and open up completely to someone. But he did that for fan. Just that morning he asks his mom if fan was the man who would make him believe the world is a better place but fan broke everything. For yao he didnt just lose his lover, he lost his faith in people, his ability to trust people, his everything. That's how heavy this drama is and the actor has done absolute justice to the role❤️❤️❤️

Also this one had the best redemption arc ive ever seen in a BL. I was wondering what Fan would do. Frankly i was surprised. He fixed every mistake he ever did. Fixed Yao made him even better than before. Gave him the family he longed for... and the ending was just beautiful 🤌❤️

The more i rewatch it the better it gets

I found this drama after watching Star and Sky. Initially i skipped it cz the poster gave serious vibes but then i saw edits on style and cz i loved JD From SnS i gave this a go only for them and I loved it. The 1st time i watched it ngl i skipped all FirstKhao scenes cz i didn't find their story interesting n was not much into their pairing. O was here for FadelStyle. People in the comments say Dunk sucked as Style but i totally disagree. He's the most perfect style we can get. His character is a mechanic he's supposed to be a little rough round the edges but also he's supposed to be a little feminine abd beautiful which dunk delivered. I feel this is probably the most beautiful dunk character I've seen off the 4 dramas. His acting had definitely improved when compared to SnS i liked every bit of FadelStyle. I might be too emotional but i cried when Style tries to stop Fadel from killing people indirectly, the way he handles the ex's death, them talking about being burried together and when he followed fadel knowing he was gonna die, n when he cried in that hotel😭. Style is probably the greenest bottom I've seen in the history of BL. He's kinda cocky and weird but he loved Fadel a lot❤️. The drama was just soo beautiful and perfect.

Months later i just had an urge to rewatch this gem obviously for FadelStyle but also cz we dont have many dramas with this kinda plot where it involves mafia and hitmen but is also comical and romantic and also cz now i also was into FirstKhao ship and this time i rewatched the whole thing without skipping and i loved it even more. I think a drama deserves a 10 if you're going back to rewatch it. So I'm gonna give it a 10 cz ik im gonna be rewatching it over and over again.

THE BEST UNIVERSITY ROMANCE EVER!!!

I'm writing this review as I'm rewatching this. This was my 1st JD drama and i loved it soo much i watched the sequel, special and anything available close to it and even ended up watching all JD dramas. It's just that good.

I really loved how the characters were written they were natural, soft and not over the top but the show was quiet engaging and made my heart flutter every second. I love how natural dao was this is something we don't usually see. He had his 1st love and when they met again he was awkward and kluen was just an introvert ❤️ it was soo damn adorable.

Another unique thing was the way JD portrayed their characters. Kluen was someone who had a hard time being expressive and when he expressed he was usually misunderstood. I found his character really relatable. Dao was not very violent or over the top cute. He was just a normal kid who fell in love and suffered cz his crush couldn't express himself. I also loved how Fah looked out for his brother. Him and mark are like my favorite that's the reason i love the sequel more than this. Although i really love this drama. I really felt bad for typhoon and Gia but as kluen said a clear rejection is better than false hope

It was literally the best university romance ive watched till date. I think me rewatching this explains how good it is.

One of the most iconic fluff dramas of all time which actually has a plot

Usually I'm not a fluff person cz it kinda bores me when it doesn't have a plot and just fluff. Kinda like your sky or Ai long nai... i liked them but not like I LOVE THEM. I think that's where DWY is unique. It's not just fluff it has a plot and each character has their own personality and depth they're not simply cute or simply cold. They're someone you can actually relate too and sympathize with. I think we all have had our own Qin moments in life although meeting a Duang in real life is rare. I laughed with them cried with them and also rooted for them these couple of months. They just made my day..

I really really really recommend this drama to everyone. Don't miss out on this ❤️ bye bye DuangQin and hello TeeteePor

ONE OF THE BEST KBL I'VE EVER WATCHED!!!!!!

I'm 4 episodes in. Couldn't stop myself from watching it on air🤭. The drama is soo good it made my heart flutter and also made me cry🥺🥺. Usually KBLs are either filled with awkward acting, lot of pauses and rushed story line. But that was not the case here the pacing was right, the actors were not awkward and there were no long empty pauses. I'd say this one was as good as "My bias is showing!?" & "semantic error"❤️.

Another good thing about this bl is that they didn't turn it into "i like you cz you're my brother." This is probably the 1st incest I'm not dropping cz usually when it's stepbrother or cousins troup it's like one likes the other and forces them into a relationship like we saw in "HIStory 4". But here they're cousins who definitely didn't grow up together. They did meet occasionally but all they had was friendship not like you treat him as a brother all your life and have romantic feelings for him.

Damn Il joo deserves happiness. He's suffered soo much in life and now he's suffering in love too. Jeong Han is well... i can't say he's a red flag he's more like a yellow flag. He's loved Il joo but doesn’t wanna accept it other than that he's a nice guy who cares for him. Also we can't forget the visuals both leads are soo damn handsome. Like every scene they're literally shinning 🤭🤭. Overall i think you should give it a go it's a fun watch if you ignore the cousins part... which is what I'm doing😆😆

Edit: okay he's moved from yellow flag to green flag era so 🤭🤭 extra satisfied. Damn and the NC scenes are quite on par with thai bl... kbl and cbl are literally raising their bars🤌🤌 also i like that il joo is not just a weak guy. He even "rejected" jonghan... yes he does get beaten up a lot but atleast he's got a personality ✨️✨️ but yeah last 2 eps i felt there were gaps like why was iljo away from Jung before he went to the airport? N why was he even worried about the photos? I guess I'll get a clear picture when i read the webtoon so I'll give it a 9

Started of good but ending felt incomplete

My initial impression was: The drama is an absolute gem. Probably one of my favorites among the ones currently airing. The plot although is a popular troupe is well written and executed. The NC is just right not too much to make it seem like porn. The acting is spot on. I absolutely love all 3 couples and the pacing is perfect. Given 8 episodes they've made sure they focus more on the main couple and give us just enough of the 2nd and 3rd couple. Another thing special about this drama is that it keeps u curious and wanting more like rn I am curious about saitharn's past and the white shirt guy, the beef between sila and mueng (it doesn't seem that simple), how the deal is gonna go etc and eventhough there are soo many points they need to cover the drama doesn't feel rushed nor am i scared they won't cover them well cz this is probably one of the best executed bl I've watched other than restart, top form and kinnporche

I absolutely love this drama. Although we might not see this pair again cz this drama is not a hit. I think i will be rewatching this drama. I really hate it when people just rate a drama low cz the pair is not a popular pair but then rate a below average drama high by spamming it with 10s just cz the pair is popular. Currently there are dramas that are from gmmtv and dmd that are not up to the par but are rated above 8 just cz the pair is popular but this one has pretty much got hate for being cringe when it is actually not.

I saw someone complaining about the gl pair getting more screentime. When they literally were introduced in that episode (ep 3) and barely had like 5 min screentime that episode🙄. That's how unreasonable the hate is towards this drama.

I absolutely love all the characters in this drama including our "villian" gap, our hottie fluke and cutie neau. I hope to see them together in more projects❤️

Edit: the drama was pretty good until the episode where we get saitarn's backstory where the entire episode just start feeling off after which the drama kinda felt average for me. Lot of things were left unaddressed at the end like
- Saitharn's family problems, the reason he ran away in ep 1
- The white shirt guy... who was apparently just a random guy idk felt off to me
- Closure to Sila and Meung's issue and even Meung and his family issues
- the 3rd couple.. they just left it has an open ending

So yeah I felt it was half done. It's okay... i feel they had time but kinda wasted it on the farm issues which was not the main thing for me... could have been better.

Really needed better balance between romance and case solving

Couldn't hold myself back, had to add a review. Damn over the years i love how their acting has visibly improved. Especially Dunk during hidden agenda and star and sky u could see his acting was kinda... awkward and not very natural but then in heart killers he just killed it and here he is killing it😌

I really love how their roles switched from FadelStyle haha. I love how Jade is more like style here flirty & sly and kamin is rich cold boy who's not falling for any of his tricks 🤭🤭 so we're doing great on the romance side

As for the suspense, murder mystery side. I think we're going good here too cz i am curious and kinda regretting watching it on air😭😭

Edit: that's how i started watching this drama but I'm disappointed. I'd not watch this show if not for JoongDunk. I feel the balance between romance and suspense is totally off. For 8 episodes the case has barely showed any progress. The police says they wanna save the kids but they never try🙃. They always show up after someone dies. Okay you don't have permission to protect them atleast ask an informant to tail them or something. The worst part is an inspector's brother is involved and he got no idea about his brother meeting his friends or not coming home for a night. Soo many people died in a short time span this case should on top priority but they're taking their own sweet time. The kids are dumb for not informing the police about the dare letters when all their friends are dead. Any normal person would know they're gonna die too so better get help. Also champ why tf is he scared? He can just hire gaurds and protect himself idk the avengers gang seems dumb the police doesn't care... I'd prefer if they had a better balance like dramas like "laws of attraction" or "goddess bless u from death". gmmtv just sucks with suspense i guess cz it was the same with melodies of secrets but that was slightly better than this.

Edit: the last 2 episodes were kinda good although the middle was meh i think I'd like it much more if i didnt spoil myself with the killer😅 so that's my bad. Also loved the real life joongdunk reference in the drama. Hope to see them marry onscreen soon😭😭😭

It's both amazing and confusing mess at the same time

When I started this drama I kinda liked it but as the series progressed the show went bland especially a couple of episodes in the middle were soo boring. After a point I just stopped waiting for the next episode.

I do agree with the comments they should have just removed the whole magical wish part and this would have been an amazing slice of life cz that was pretty messily handled. It started off good with both friends wishing and their wish coming true and both of them kinda paid their price for the wish too. Xiang Yong lost his loved ones and Wan Zi lost his peace. Which 2as plausible cz his wish wasn't as bing as Yong. Everything just starts going downhill after this. Like people lost their memories once and then it happens again🙄 okay u wanna erase HXY but why did Hama chan forget Wan Zi🙄🙄 makes no sense. Also why did Yong trading his life to undo his wish also undo wan zi's wish?

I especially hated how this whole wish mess was just the gods messing with people kinda thing and although they said there were rules i couldn't see any. These 2 kids get to undo their wish while the doc who i feel also repented never got to undo the wish. Also the introduction of the new god in the end felt absolutely unnecessary to me. Also everyone's memories being distorted differently in the end was also kinda uncomfortable for me. Instead if they either just removed the whole magic thing or just let him experience a world where their wish came true and then they came back to where they started. That would have been much much better.

The 1st couple have an amazing backstory but then their current timeline's story was barely interesting on the other hand i absolutely loved the 2nd couple A LOT. They did a good job. For a 1 time watch this drama is good but it might be hard to finish it.

Amazing acting couldn't save this series from the trashy script

I feel it started off pretty good. Kept me engaged. I did have a lot of questions from the start but then i thought it'd be answered later in the show but then that never happened. The show ended with 0 context or pretext to a lot of things.

The show starts with Hye Seong missing his first love I jin and ends up drawing him resulting in a time travel (Ok makes sense although they were hinting it was a breakup i felt he was dead so i watched from that pov). Everything was okay till here but then instead of saving his first love bro literally avoids him like a pest🙄 for 50% of the drama and even goes back to the original timeline.

During this time they also bring in a color blindness troupe which was totally left unaddressed till the end.
He goes back and there they show that he had actually vanished from the present (i was guessing a time pause or soul switch with the younger self but nah he vanished for hours)

Now his sis tells him U Jin died looking for him and she lied and all of a sudden bro wants to go back in time and save him🙄 he goes back. Now i get U jin was happy to see him back after days and didnt push him on the vanishing part but bro didnt doubt the sudden personality change or ask about his confession🙄. They again bring up the color blindness thing and brush it off🙃 like why?? Then finally he and Tae Jun decide to protect U jin which is okay but then he tells Tae Jun about the fact that hes a time traveler at the absolute end so when did he give him letter tae jun gave u jin?

Also how did TJ and UJ lose contact when HS was the one who went abroad to study? Also when he "time travelled" his body would literally vanish from the other universe so how tf is this time travel?? Which means young HS never existed??

There were a lot of things that were just half done. Although i initially did rate this an 8 i bring it to 6 cz the story was really trash. It was literally overrated cz the actors were really good. I watched it but I'd not recommend this to anyone.

Beautiful but pure angst

I started watching this cz of how beautiful the cast were. All pearl, peak and perth are just gorgeous and i only saw some funny clips on this series so i was like lets watch it what could go wrong?

I've cried all 12 episodes. It got to the point that i had to drop it for a while in the middle and pick it back up cz it was soo overwhelming and when i picked it up i made sure i skip. It was just too heavy. I felt this series needed some comedy elements even if it's a serious drama. That way it wouldn't be as heavy as it was.

It's the kind of drama where you'd just feel bad for everyone including the villains.. i cried for the villains thats how good it was

There's like 2% comedy 10% romance 88% angst and you dont get a break from the angst either it just goes on for like 2 or 3 eps till u get 1 tiny scene where u can breath. Should u watch it? Yes if u don't mind crying and like dramas that are sad with happy ending.

Will i re-watch it ever again? NO! NEVER

It's magical and funny kinda gives off old children's movie vibes but the editing issues are obvious

I was kinda expecting this to be on the serious romance side like "goblin" or "my demon" or "my love from another side". Ngl jeff's outfit bothered me for a while😆😆 in the 1st ep. I was bro he's an alien why he dressed like a sky kids villain. The explanation helped a lot.

The drama will remind you of old children's movies like spy kids, charlie and the chocolate factory kind. I really liked the graphics and visuals and all the magic going on. Unfortunately it's not subbed yet and the drama is in Thai, Korean and English. I can understand english and korean but thai is a problem for me so I'm gonna rewatch once subbed.

The aliens costume was not my favorite but i did like Raon's minions. They're adorable 🤭🤭

My fav character soo far would be princess. I also have a new ship which i think is gonna sail i.e. the princess and the police

When he said "Why can't a man be a princess? If you're handsome you're a prince, if you're pretty you're a princess. Like me... Well you're... definitely a prince *wink*" kyaaaaaaaa i love him i love him i love him❤️❤️❤️ just please don't be wicked.

Overall 2 episodes in and i think i like it. Hope the actors get paid for this though cz it's unfair.

Gonna update my review after i finish once and after watching with subs once again. Until then ciao

Edit: finished the drama. It is really not a serious one, more like a children's movie than a BL. We get 1 kiss which was just lips touching😆. I feel it could be a lot better if it was released back then with proper music and editing cz it's pretty obvious that they had a bunch of clips that the editing team tried their best to join without any creativity.

For the first time in my entire life have i seen a human leave earth for their partner. That was new and unexpected. I liked all the couples. CopPrincess being my fav although they barely get 30 mins in the series. I feel the series was okay, not the best. You won't miss out if you don't watch it. It's not everyone's cup of tea and the trailer and series are totally different 😆😆 not once did i see Raon in normal cloths.

Soo much potential went downhill mid series.. i barely stopped myself from dropping this one

Ok had to review this one while it's ongoing. It's good. I started watching this because it had a unique plot. Romance between a "ex-porn star" and a university perfect guy. Being Tae's 1st drama as a lead he's done an amazing job potraying ice. Yes he still looks a bit stiff during the NC scenes but not like their chemistry sucks. I hope to see more dramas of them together. I've usually seen tae do happy go lucky characters so this one was something new i saw in him. I think he'd do well in sweet innocent kinda characters too🤭🤭 cz his doe eyes is really adorable. Especially in the lollipop scene in ep 8.

As for Ja we all know no one can beat him when it comes to green flag characters he's done a good job as saint. But i think he has potential in toxic characters too. Saying this cz he did well as Kit (the character he plays in the short movie) we gotta see him play 1 toxic character. He was really good.

Overall the story is really good it shows how SA victims think and the problems they face really well but yes there are scenes where it was kinda confusing like cut off but then they do explain why it happens but then you might feel weird till the explanation comes in. Like saint ignoring ice and also flirting with him at the same time cz of the father's spy. I was like whats the point of ignoring ice if you're gonna flirt with him infront of the spy😆😆 The actors are good but overtime especially after ep 8 the director and screen writer has messed up and it's like you get the story but you feel it could be done better.

And yes our 2nd couple kinda dumb but kinda cute pair🤭🤭 I'm loving their story too.

Ok I'm at ep 10. After ice and warm's breakup the story gets dragged. This should have been a 10 ep drama but it's 13 so they're just dragging it to the end to fix the father problem.

Finished the drama. Skipped till the end🙃... there was nothing much going on anyways so.

Overall watch it. If u liked fortpeat in love in the air. This is similar probably a bit intense than their story at times but then it kinda goes downhill after a point, u won't regret it not watching it and if u do u gotta skip a lot after WarmIce breakup.

Started off strong ended in the ditch

I can't believe the amount of hate this drama is getting for being cliché. I really wanna ask everyone to not go with the rating and give this drama a go. It has the 2010s vibes. Like the old OG kdramas with the bad boy who hurts the good girl and regrets it later.

We don't get such dramas nowadays so i loved it🤭 kinda took me back in time. Compared to BGMB i think they have improved a lot when it comes to pacing. Every episode made me wait for the next episode and I'm kinda wishing i watched it after it was completed😭.

I like all the toxic characters. The acting is good. Direction is good. Pacing is good. Story is cliché but good. It doesn't look cheap. People are just hating on it cz they're not popular actors and i guess they wanna feel superior by commenting trash about the series🙃. I've seen many dramas that are unbearable and boring but high rated cz they like the actors. Well watch it you wont regret it

Edit: Finished the drama more like watched it cz i was curious how bad it could get. It's messy super messy like 3 off 4 characters are 🚩🚩. Toh might seem innocent but nah he's not he's just potrayed as such. Teh is probably the worst brother one can have and jimmy is a red flag nothing more to say about him. Fah is the only sensible character you'll find in this show and I LOVE HIM!! I also loved Freeze another green fla and normal person in the bunch. Totally shipped FreezeRun. Run deserves a green flag after all he went through.

The redemption arc we all waited for never happened instead Toh served himself in silver platter to Jimmy. I really feel Jimmy doesn't love Toh he likes him and is used to him but doesn't love him. These 2 red flags literally deserve each other. Now they can just hurt each other instead of others.

I'm speechless... it was just too good

I was halfway through the movie when i read spoilers saying it was a sad ending. I was like "shit if i knew i wouldn't have watched" but then thank god i watched. It was beautiful. Started with a playful banter then made me cry ugly and the ending couldn't wipe the smile off my face...
Now i get others when they said it was not a happy or sad or even open ending but a perfect ending. Especially when the manga is ongoing they've not stepped in and created an ending. I do hope Shiguki wins before he retires.. cz he is the most relatable character to me cz I'm exactly like him. I'd work hard even if it'd kill me and go by the rules. I can reject the person i love if i feel I'd love him too much and there's a chance that I'd get hurt. Everything he did was soo relatable. Like how he never gets his love cz he's perfect...

As for Suzuki he was gorgeous and seemed like a real professional dancer the whole movie... i could feel his playful side and the reason both of them fell for each other..

As for the ending i guess we'll have to wait for the manga to end to know what happens... i think it'll be a happy ending manga❤️

Glorified cheating

If you're watching this series I'm guessing the accidental kiss is what got you in. Although the acting was pretty mid i had rated this a 6 for the 1st 2 episodes until the Top's boyfriend showed up. At first i thought the bf should be the issue but nah apparently the top was dating a guy already when the bottom accidentally mistook him for his ex and kissed him. It didn't end there the top goes on and flirts with the bottom🙃🙃 until his boyfriend shows up then when the bottom leaves him after knowing hes in a relationship he goes to the bottom's house and sleeps with him like wtf🙃. P.S the bottom and the top's bf are friends and they still decide to cheat behind his back. When the bf gets to know they breakup and theres no apology either

Both the leads are bloody villains. I feel this was a rage bait ngl. Its not worth it
