One unfateful night, Juris (Bela Padilla), along with five other lawyers, Drei (Tony Labrusca), Bogs (Ketchup Eusebio), Greco (Kit Thompson), Gaylord (Sandino Martin), and Lolita (Ivana Alawi), accidentally ran over a woman named Barbara (Rubi Rubi) who stole a baby from the hospital. They decided to bury Barbara's body afterwards. Juris took care of the child as her own, under the thought that they killed the child's mother. The real mother, Fina (Jodi Sta. Maria), emerges and is desperate to win her child back. Follow the story of the six lawyers, who would be torn in doing the right thing or disobeying the law they swore to promote.
The film follows Jeff (Carlo Aquino), a young seminarian who embarks on a soul-searching journey to Albay, Philippines, contemplating his commitment to priesthood. The story depicts two star-crossed lovers: Marcus Hanson (Mario Maurer), a Thai superstar, and Joey Hermosa (Erich Gonzales), a Filipina baker. When Marcus decides to fly to the Philippines to escape from his career, he meets Joey. Even though their worlds collide, the two later fall in love. Based on the komiks creation of Jim Fernandez and Ernie Santiago and the 1970s film by Joey Gosiengfiao, Kambal Sa Uma tells the story of Ella (Melissa Ricks) and Vira (Shaina Magdayao), twin sisters who have some of the physical features of a rodent. When she was still a baby, Vira was given away by her mother Milagros (Rio Locsin) and ended up in the care of a rich couple in the city. Meanwhile, Ella remained with her mother and lived in the mountains away from persecution of people. Through a dramatic course of events, Ella and Vira will cross paths and their differences will lead to a bitter clash.
