Not for me

I think this series just wasn’t for me. I didn’t enjoy it at all, even though it included all the themes I usually like. The truth is, Khun Le’s behavior toward Rann put me off so much that I couldn’t appreciate their relationship.

That being said, the storyline and the acting were both very solid. Honestly, despite my feelings about the main relationship, I was still entertained while watching it.

Can Love Rewrite Destiny?

Love Beyond Dreams uses time travel and a murder mystery framework, but at its core it is a story about love, grief, trauma, and people trying to resist fate. It is a tale of a second chance, but also of how easily someone can be hurt even when love is deeply real. What truly elevates the series is its extraordinary attention to detail. The creators treat no scene, object, or line of dialogue as accidental. In Love Beyond Dreams, everything carries meaning, and attentive viewers are rewarded with layers of interpretation that unfold gradually over time.

Symbolism and meaningful details
The most important symbol in the entire story is the necklace with the red thread. In the original timeline, Rann dies holding it tightly in her hand after an attack that occurs shortly after Lene’s funeral. That same red thread becomes the catalyst that sends her five years into the past. When she wakes up again, the thread is still in her hand. It is therefore not only proof that the future she remembers truly happened, but also a symbol of fate and determination to change destiny. Red gerberas also serve as a recurring symbol throughout the series. Early on, Lene tells Rann that red gerberas are meant for someone special and compares the flowers to her. What seems like a simple romantic gesture gradually becomes a quiet expression of Lene’s love. Since she struggles to express her feelings openly, the flowers become one of the many ways she shows her affection and tenderness. Equally important is the handwritten letter. After five years apart, Rann recognizes Lene’s handwriting and immediately returns to Thailand. Instead of finding her lover, she arrives at her funeral. Only later does the viewer understand that the letter was a final expression of love that Lene never stopped feeling. She pushed Rann away not because she stopped loving her, but because “she wanted to give her a life she could not provide herself”. There are many more subtle details like this. Lene remembers Rann’s dreams even when they are separated. This includes having a car, home, the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom and Lene in her life. Over time, it becomes clear that what Rann initially interpreted as rejection was actually an attempt to secure her happiness and safety. The series quietly shows that love is not always expressed through presence, but sometimes through sacrifice.

Story, screenplay, and originality
Although time travel is not a new concept, Love Beyond Dreams uses it in a deeply emotional way. The fantasy element never dominates the narrative; instead, it serves as a mechanism to explore grief, guilt, and the desire to undo irreversible mistakes. The mystery aspect is equally strong. Together with Rann, the audience tries to uncover not only Lene’s killer but also the person responsible for Rann’s death in the original timeline. The screenplay skillfully plants misleading clues, making nearly every character seem suspicious at some point. One of the most interesting aspects is the way the series engaged its audience beyond the episodes themselves. The official production account (MeMindY Official) regularly released “case files” about suspects — including photos, descriptions, and hints connected to the investigation. This blurred the line between fiction and reality, allowing viewers to actively participate in solving the mystery. It was a clever narrative extension that kept the story alive between episodes.

Acting
Aya Orapan Phongmaykin as Rann convincingly portrays a character moving from grief and guilt to an almost desperate determination to save the person she loves. Her performance is built around strong emotional impact, as Rann carries many of the series most intense scenes involving crying, loss, and longing. From the very beginning she experiences deep personal tragedy, starting with the death of her… more on our social media @sawadeeGL

Unexpected

First i thought it will be one of the most horrible gl again since its not made by a known company. But im surprised that recently gl story lines from not so big of a company will have a better storyline than those big ones. And i fell hardly inlove with the couple and the chemistry they have on and off cam.

One of the Best Dramas of the Year

Good Points:

P’Le and Rann, the two main characters, were incredibly charming. Their reunion gave birth to so many emotions: conviction, conflict, regret, growth, and the painful feelings they had both been carrying for so long. As those emotions developed, their chemistry became absolutely explosive.

What makes them so lovable is that they hurt each other precisely because they care about each other so deeply. That delicacy, awkwardness, and emotional clumsiness between them are unbearably precious.

My favorite episode is Episode 4. The feelings Rann had been holding onto for P’Le and P’Le’s desire to protect Rann, even if it meant rejecting her, finally collide. They expose their true emotions to each other and begin to understand one another. It is a cruel scene, but also a truly beautiful one, because they face the painful reality they could no longer avoid and still manage to reach each other’s hearts.

The chemistry created by Miephat and Aya was also just as powerful as the chemistry between their characters. Miephat portrayed P’Le wonderfully: someone who acts strong on the surface, but is actually deeply delicate inside. Her emotional expression was excellent.

Aya also portrayed Rann beautifully: a girl who is scared, but still gathers her courage for the person she loves, shows her strength, and stays by P’Le’s side. I think both Miephat and Aya have a very deep understanding of the characters they play and of the story itself. They are such wonderful actresses that they made me want to see them lead another series together again.

A Few Minor Concerns:

The red thread that Rann had been holding since Episode 1 was never fully explained, so I wish the story had revealed where it actually came from earlier. If we had known where the red thread came from, Rann’s rejection when P’Le gives her the necklace in the middle of the story would have carried even more emotional weight. That is why I really wanted to know the origin of the red thread.

Seven episodes were far too short. I wanted at least ten episodes. With more time, the story could have explored Peem’s past more deeply, and the sense of P’Le, Rann, and Peem as an important team would have felt even stronger. Then, in the final episode, the loss of Peem would have weighed much more heavily on the audience, and it would have been easier to feel emotionally connected to him.

Conclusion:

This series is my number one drama of the first half of this year, and I truly think it is one of the best dramas of the year.

The story carefully builds up P’Le and Rann’s emotions, then lets all of those accumulated feelings explode in Episode 4. I also loved that they did not simply become completely close right away after that. Instead, their distance gradually became smaller, little by little.

Most of all, I am truly happy that P’Le and Rann were able to reach a happy ending.

The BEST and original GL series I've ever watched 100000/10

Seriously, I'm new to Thai GL Series but this is my 10th Series. I saw a random clip of Lene was furiously dragging to car (episode 5) and I was like oh... strict mafia kinda series itseems and left.

But I watched another clip their BTS and I don't know I started that in that moment....Down in the comments someone mentioned don't watch this series in Youtube for better experience do go to Uncut version. Thanks to whoever it is.

I completed almost 5 episodes in whole night without sleeping. This is the only series where I giggled, amazed, got second hand embarrassment...my cheeks was hurt as hell as I was smiling like an idiot the whole night....

The best series I've ever saw. The things I loved about this series is it doesn't overcrowded artists like some other series, they make sure who are all needed for the scene and they only assembled there. It might look strange as the office has been operated by only 10 people but I must say it is more than enough. This story main focus is Rann and her P'le and that is how it went, without any unnecessary dragging the series completed within 7 episodes. But I wish there are some more episodes too....

Pheem make his character very strong that makes the main to cry her lungs out when he died. To talk about Main leads Mie and Aya
Someone better give them an another project. They are more like a lovers or I would even say they are married apart from dating. The way Lene world becoming bright after Rann is notable and

Aya....She made an excellent job, her role is more like a soft emotional gurl the way she carried her role Rann is appreciable.

Miephat....OHGOD gurl who are you?? Where you come from, how could be a women be so fine...as well as handsome, cool or whatever the best words. The gun firing, the fights, the dressing style you carried, in episode 2, the way you lift your sleeves(black shirt in office scene) god i died, I'm straight but for the very first time I got butterflies in my stomach and I thought like OHMY...She is my role modal...how the hell you can be so gud...The role you did is extremely beautiful and full of emotions. The love you hold for Rann is beyond my Imagination, the love scenes made be blush so hard, I rewatched it a lot of time, I wish I could talk about this series to someone so that we could discuss a lot about this, only thing is people will judge you for your taste...typical world, I wish I could born in Thailand

OVERALL...Whoever wanted a proper romance peaked series, where the main leads give a real world romance as there is some rumors of them in dating, Go watch LOVE BEYOND DREAMS, you will never regret it. whoever the partner is Boy or Gurl, make them to watch this series....
They are so underrated MieAya...let them get another project soon
this series need more recognition than most of the overrated dramas, I understand the fan followings, but I would say they are 10000 times better than LingOrm, the romance doesn't feel forced and all

DO WATCH THIS MASTERPIECE

10/10 Love Beyond Dreams deserves way more attention-it's so worth watching.

10/10 Love Beyond Dreams deserves way more attention-it's so worth watching.
Looks like people have missed out on a masterpiece. The storyline is incredibly captivating and keeps you on the edge of your seat with every moment of the couple's journey.
Trust me, this series is unlike anything I've watched before.
The whole idea of time-traveling to reunite with the person you once loved and mending a relationship that was left unfinished? It hits so hard emotionally. I'm literally getting emotional just writing this.
And that's not even the best part. The drama also blends in action and thrilling investigation scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat. Every episode leaves you wanting more.
Oh, and can we talk about P'Mie? She is unbelievably cool.
The charisma, the bravery, the way she handles every situation... she's such a badass. fr
Seriously, don't sleep on this one. If you're looking for a series that gives you romance, heartbreak, second chances, suspense, and action all at once, Love Beyond Dreams is absolutely worth watching. *
