only good if you want a high blood pressure
first they seriously need to check the cast ,for their maturity level before accepting them, a huge turn off when i watch someone acting like a kid from ep 1 until the end..too much focus on a dude who isnt serious about dating , a lot of screentime about him being immature and giving false hopes. he seriously ruined the show, i started to think eliminations could have been good to kick out people who arent serious.
the only good thing is the gl part, if you want a good gl couple go on , the show overall was boring and more time was needed, 1 week? give it a month
i highly do not recommend this, next time i will be waiting until the dating show ends before i decide to watch or not

13th ep had me fuming.. I'm so done with this show!
It seems like everyone wants Seungho and Jinwoo to end up together, but with all the emotional drama going on—especially Seungho’s hurt feelings and the comparing JinWoo to Hye Yeon—it’s clear there are deeper issues. Given his age, Seungho still has some maturing to do in certain aspects of relationships.In my opinion, both of them should take a step back and move on. Jinwoo was honest about what happened & even apologized... several times. But Seungho played the victim and made things worse by comparing him to someone with a completely different personality.
If Seungho can't accept Jinwoo sincere apology... more than once, might I add, then Jinwoo deserves better and doesn't need someone who is going to continuously keep pulling the guilt trip card. The last straw for me was when Jinwoo even apologized while sitting in bed with Seungho and OMG ... I digress .. anyway:
If Seungho wants perfection and constant coddling, he might as well turn to Hye Yeon for that motherly touch, instead of guilt-tripping Jinwoo for being upfront about his feelings. It’s not all about Seungho—just because he’s attractive and people swoon over him doesn’t mean he isn’t stuck in a bit of a princess mindset.
I hope Jinwoo walks away free and without guilt. He would be doing himself a favor. Seungho would be someone that would end up stressing him out more in life. Besides don't they both live far away from each other?
At the end of the day... Jinwoo deserves better.

Eliminating Bi Erasure
I waited and waited and waited for the day I would finally see a Bi reality dating show appear from Korea. Finally, I got my wish. Was it everything I hoped for? Yes and no.I felt the openness of all the participants to meet and become close to new people and, perhaps, fall for someone while staying at the BI-LIVE house. That they felt comfortable enough to express their varying levels of attraction to people of the same/different gender, without judgment.
While I felt some participants were more sincere about their feelings than others, that didn't matter to me as much as real representation of Bisexual people being on the screen.
Unlike His Man, this reality dating show didn't set up a dialogue/prompt a conversation for everyone to discuss their experience of coming to terms with their sexuality, coming out, and/or the difficulties they faced because of it. Particularly for Bisexual people and the discrimination/pushback they face from Straight people AND the Queer community, I felt this was a huge missed opportunity to start a conversation/dispel stereotypes about Bisexual people. Additionally, I did shake my head at the times dates set a requirement to date a specific gender. I wished the date options were more free. Limiting one's options in that manner seems counterproductive to a Bisexual reality dating show, if you ask me (a Bisexual person). I understand wanting to "mix things up," but there are plenty of other ways to do that without making gender a factor. They managed it with other non-gender-related limitations they set for dates.
Any of my criticisms being said, I have to applaud this show for virtue of being such a valuable stepping stone in LGBT+ representation. Too often, Bisexual people are dismissed/ignored. It was good to see them not only highlighted but treated like others.

Stressful but entertaining!
The drama, specifically in one particular love triangle, was really frustrating, but it got me very invested and I think the point of reality TV is to have those situations anyways. More than the romance, I really appreciated the friendships between the cast, and I feel like that was the true value of the experience for them, especially for those who didn’t find partners. Unfortunately, although this was a bisexual dating show with all bisexual contestants, there wasn’t much talk about the contestants’ experiences with their sexuality as I believe there had been on other queer dating shows. It would have been really cool to see the group talk about that, but I still really enjoyed the show for what it was. I wouldn’t recommend watching if you are only interested in one storyline, but since I liked most of the relationships, I felt like it was worth my time, and it was definitely a lot of fun!Was this review helpful to you?

A mediorcely produced show full of red flags.
I will start off with what the show deserves props for:- Bi-representation in media that isn't stigmatized but instead normalized. Sexuality in the show felt extremely natural, and it felt like everyone had a chance with everyone, which created a super unique vibe compared to other dating shows.
- Decent games/ways to get characters to talk to different people
NOW, for the critiques of the show:
- The. Age. Gaps. It is extremely odd how large an age gap was allowed within the cast. We have the youngest being born in 2006 (20-21 years old), and the oldest being born in 1994 (32-33 years old). It's easier to be forgiving of age gaps in dating shows when all the cast are older, but I can't comprehend how it would be acceptable for a 20-year-old and a 32-year-old to ever be paired or even have anything to connect on.
- Dates were quite repetitive and didn't stand out much. It was essentially either a random artsy workshop, or eat by the beach.
- Production overall was just lacking on many fronts, such as shot choice, editing choices, etc.
AND NOW, for the critiques of the contestants (my main beef with the show):
- Some of the cast have the self-awareness, communication skills, and emotional maturity of a plate of stale bagels. I was surprised at how half of the cast were experts in leading people on and miscommunication tropes. And as with many dating shows, there's an emphasis on a main couple, and that couple turned out to have so many red flags --->
- Seungho: might be the BIGGEST RED FLAG I've seen in any dating show. His age really showed, and the way he played with people's feelings was arguably malicious. Flaunting the fact that someone else is interested in him, comparing his options RIGHT IN FRONT OF the options themselves, DEMANDING his partner quit smoking otherwise he doesn't "truly love him", unable to communicate seriously with anyone, egotistical, the list goes on. The way he treated Jin-woo was evidently cruel, and I am glad they didn't end up together (Jin-woo saved!).
- Hyeyeon: I liked her personality and the beginning, but when it came to Seung-ho, she became the worst "pick-me" I've seen on any dating show. In her talk with Seung-ho while he was fighting with Jin-woo, she repeated over and over "I would never treat you like that", "I love you more than him", "You deserve someone better". How terribly dishonest of a way to try to win Seung-ho over, and like Hee-jin said earlier, she is quite two-faced when it comes to love. I was so glad that she and Seung-ho ended up together because they can create a field of red flags together.
The show overall was mediocrely produced, and nothing really stood out besides the premise. But I can say that I was entertained during my time consuming this, and although I wouldn't recommend this show for its quality, I'd say if you enjoy getting frustrated and emotionally invested in people's ill-advised decisions, this would be a fun watch.
