Tateishi Daichi, a book designer working at a design company in Tokyo, is so absorbed in his love of reading that he has little interest in real-life romance. One day, his contact at Marufuji Publishing is replaced, and Daichi reunites with his former university classmate, Ichikura Kosuke, who now works there as an editor. When a new project — a photo book of underwater photography — begins, the two start working closely together, and the distance between them quickly narrows. Yet, the closer Daichi gets to Kosuke, the more his chest tightens with memories of their university days… because for Daichi, Kosuke is the one person in his life he most wanted to forget.
