Tateishi Daichi, a book designer working at a design company in Tokyo, is so absorbed in his love of reading that he has little interest in real-life romance. One day, his contact at Marufuji Publishing is replaced, and Daichi reunites with his former university classmate, Ichikura Kosuke, who now works there as an editor. When a new project — a photo book of underwater photography — begins, the two start working closely together, and the distance between them quickly narrows.
