A Place Called Home (2026) - Review
Interesting movie. I was surprised to see Suzuki Airi in this kind of role, and she actually does a pretty good job. I had a completely different image of her before watching this.As for the story, it's quite realistic and depicts something that happens fairly often—especially in Japan. It's about someone who doesn't want to go to school. There are a few plot holes here and there, though. For example, how does the protagonist not realize who she's talking to? Especially near the ending.
Overall, I'd recommend it. I honestly thought it was going to be worse. I rented the movie just because of Suzuki Airi, but it ended up being a really good surprise.
