Uncle romance with good foundation & nice kisses
I became an instant fan of Huai Wen after watching Be Your Kiss. So I became intrigued with this drama. I liked it but loved Be Your Kiss so much more.What I liked:
1. Romance - Slow burn. Arranged marriage so awkward strangers but I loved that they established the dos and don'ts at the start of marriage including the frequency of intimacy. Good kisses.
2. FL characterisation - She stood up to bullies. Loved it!
3. ML characterisation - He was kind, respectful & handsome.
4. Supporting characters - ML's family so welcoming - loved the warmth. Her close colleague was nice. I also liked his doctor friend.
5. Styling - Loved her outfits. He looked dashing in the green suit.
What I liked:
1. Antagonists - Ye Qing was possessive family friend but good that ML put his foot down. FL's family was cunning & manipulative.

Title: Zhou Zhou Ben Fu Ni (This miniseries has a very similar story with Huai Wen (as Zhou Jin Xu) and Fu Yu Shu (as Jiang Ni) , but it is way better!

Because this is one of my favorites.
I don't get all of the 6-ish ratings. I've watched this a number of times, most recently to see if I could see why the review ratings couldn't get above a 6.5. Nope still doesn't make any sense to me. For me, this is a solid 10. Maybe it's because it goes along its way rather quietly? No excessive physical abuse. No drugging. No kidnapping. No inheritance fights. No banquet humiliation. Etcetera.... There are other quieter, yet equally insidious behaviors and actions. Got to have a bit of green tea. And manipulation, guilting, and almost literal emotional blackmail, amongst some other expected inclusions.Doesn't mean there isn't a whole lot going on in a relatively short period of time. So many layers and events. Then that incredible relationship that started with two people who had no experience of familial love. The fact that they were both determined to develop a solid marriage by allowing themselves to function within a comfort zone using what skills they had was almost heroic. Takes some serious acting craft to pull something this complex off, let alone do it well.
Yep. This is still on my rewatch list. And still a 10. I hope to have several of those in my viewing future. 🎉😁🎉

Eu gosto da evolução do relacionamento do casal principal, ambos são bem inexperientes, mas a comunicação sempre é clara e procuram resolver os mal-entendidos assim que acontecem.A família adotiva da FL como sempre é podre, e a família do ML fofa.
Mas há falhas toscas no roteiro, o casal fez o exame pre-nupcial e não leu os resultados? como a chá-verde conseguiu alterar o resultado de fertilidade da FL sem eles saberem? Ainda mais sendo tanto tempo depois, já que o drama inicia-se com eles fazendo os exames.. Enfim... é pra entreter e não seguir a lógica kkkkk
