must say i kinda donno how to feel - it wasn't boring & i like most of the character's i've seen so far - just feel like i don't have enough info to get where both mains r coming from. especially Moth - why is he so anti to anyone trying to hit on him?!? & i get that he knows his bff has a crush on him, but like his bff - they r both avoiding the subject so they can remain in each other's lives. so would love more of a backstory to set the stage. also what is different in Dean's approach that Moth doesn't mind & is even open too - cause Dean isn't hiding the fact that he is a bed hopper, he is out & proud. Moth on the other hand isn't in the least - not even to the one-night-stand part of gay life. he living like a recluse monk - pushing everyone away regardless of what they r looking for. so would be great to know what is motivating him this time to seek out Dean.

Episode 1 was all about that push-and-pull chemistry between DeanMoth . Both of them are such complex characters in their own ways, yet somehow they feel like they’re perfectly made for each other. The contrast between them makes their chemistry even more fascinating to watch.

EP1 of You Maniac Series immediately set the stage for a messy push-and-pull dynamic that I know will carry into future episodes. Watching Dean and Moth clash while simultaneously being drawn to each other felt like the beginning of a toxic dance, where attraction and manipulation are constantly intertwined. It gave me the sense that every episode will escalate this tension, making their relationship less about love and more about control.What struck me most is how polar opposite Dean and Moth are, yet they’re both using each other for selfish gain. Moth is trying to shield himself from Pun’s feelings by pretending to be with Dean, thinking it will stop Pun’s crush, while Dean is blatantly using Moth as a way to get into his pants and to win a bet with Ten. Neither of them cares about the consequences, and that selfishness makes their dynamic both fascinating and disturbing to watch.Pun and Ten aren’t innocent either, which makes the whole cast a parade of red flags. Pun’s controlling behavior, especially his line “I will not sleep until you come home,” crossed a massive boundary for a supposed friend, while Ten’s stalker tendencies add another layer of toxicity. Seeing all four characters embody different shades of manipulation and obsession reminded me of real life, because we’ve all seen these types of people: the controller, the stalker, the manipulator, and the one who plays victim while exploiting others.

EP1 was set on high with how amazing the series was going to be, traier got me hooked EP1 had me gasped for air. From the start both the push and pull from DeanMoth was hard to ignore as an audience. I really loved the coloring of the EP where Dean had Yellow and Black lighting while Moth had Blue and Grey. their personalities were also different from each other. Especially Dr. PUN was the MOST RED FLAG of the episode. His message of "I won't go to sleep before you come home" was really nail on the coffin for me, like he is a wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. i really hope this PUN situation resolves, however DeanMoth and Ten are all behaiving like a red flag under a guise of doing something good. IT'S A LAYER UPON LAYERS EPISODE. Please go watch it

Honestly seeing it's plot trailer 1 year ago I was excited but people said they changed it's intensity and seeing it's new poster I also thought but believe me it's amazing . I am not a fan of red flags but yeah they are doing an amazing job it's interesting , cinematography is really good and their acting is just top noch. believe me if u haven't seen pls give it a try

YM Ep1 completely exceeded my expectations! The chemistry is already off the charts, the dialogue is so fast and sharp, and the comedy hits every single time without feeling forced. I love how it doesn't take itself too seriously while still making you instantly obsessed with the characters and where the plot is going. Honestly, if the premiere is already this chaotic and fun, we are in for such an insane ride this season—I'm officially hooked and need Episode 2 immediately!

Dean and Moth are real humans that I can relate so much, while i am watching ep 1, I already thought dean is similar with one of my friend, moth's one of behavior is like me etc, The characters are real familiar with us and the actors really did a good job at acting, not award feeling any, really love it, now I really want to know what is the lives of DeanMoth and what will they become at the upcoming eps!!!!

I love William and Est, and their chemistry is definitely there, but after Episode 1, I honestly do not understand the 10/10 ratings already calling this a masterpiece. The episode felt weak on story, and at times it felt like GMMTV was using the same familiar formula again. I am happy to see them together, but loving a pairing should not automatically mean loving the series. I will keep watching because I want to see where the story goes, and hopefully it gets stronger. For now, great chemistry, great cast, but not enough plot for me.

ngl i went in without any thought simply because it was trending but i was totally gagged what a duo they know how to act , that chemistry those micro-expression their characters are so expressive with their eyes even in parts where there was no dialogue i could understand what they felt this is not typical red flag story its very deeply human emotions potrayal in a realistic way but they are serving visuals acting dialogues and especially chemistry i can understand now why they say WilliamEst are Goats in kissing their vibes just match each other excited to see how it will progress further

Phenomenal start! I was hooked from the beginning all the way to the end. Loved the introductions for all the characters. The styling is amazing; everyone looked so good. The lighting is werkkiing especially in the club scenes. The interactions between Dean and Moth are thrilling; William and Est have such amazing chemistry together. Loved seeing the friendships between Dean and Ten & Moth and Pun. They feel genuine. Loved the setup and pacing for this episode; the springboard for the next episode has me on the edge of my seat....(The OST is stuck in my brain! It's so good!)

Firstly I'm a casual bl drama enthusiast and I really love discovering some good ones. I usually don't leave reviews but I really thought I had to leave one this time because this is the first bl cp that I'm really rooting for and hoping that they they reach even greater heights. Everything about their acting and Chemistry is top notch. And if I'm not mistaken this is their second lead series so just imagine how much potential they can further develop.

Cinematography/Lighting/Editing/Color grading/Music of the entire episode were peak, especially the scene when Moth was drunk dancing. The pacing was great, timeline presentation was great as well. You might wonder why Moth did this or that, but you won't be confused. Acting of every single person was on point, just 40-ish minutes passing by like in the end I just cannot wait for ep2.

No one portrays yearning and scorching chemistry like WilliamEst. The story got of to a really strong start and set up a future arc of a lot of angst and push/pull. The production was amazing, the camera angles and the lighting set the tone.

After watching on saturday i didnt have time but right now thinking back, i still love the first episode! The characters felt very fresh with william and est! Also they really fit this role amazingly!! The whole cast done great! Love moths way of dealing with people but i also feel for him cause his friend likes him and you can see he keeps sliding in the word friend when he talks to him. And dean.... well this is gonna get real interesting someone who seems to enjoy being a free bird and not tied down is now put in a position that requires he put more effort than he has previously had to do.... so excited for this series and the cast!

How should i start? From the moment Moth entered the scene to the Public Restroom kiss!!! Everything for first 5 secs was like i am in a cloud 9. William delivered the RED FLAG guys so amazingly and all of the cats was so good to watch. the OST. is so GOOD, like these four lines was representation of eachothers characters: Moth: "If you wanna play, i can do the same" Dean: "you playing with fire, you picked the wrong player" LIKE EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH AND LOCKED IN WITH YOU MANIAC

Other than the fact that things REALLY take their time in Thai BLs to make up for the 45-minute, 12-episode run, one thing I wanted to point out is the smoothing filter they added to this. It makes their skin look like wax, and I really hate it. Some GMMTV BLs do this, but overall, like 99% of DMD BLs seem to use it, and I’ve never thought it looked good.The heavy, idol-like makeup the characters are wearing all the time is a bit much too. They just don’t look like regular people. It’s small things like these that can really take me out of an otherwise good show.Other than that, the main leads have good chemistry. It’s the first show of theirs that I’m watching, so hopefully that stays consistent.

Episode 1 starts with a wonderfully playful setup. Moss rejects anyone who approaches him because of his looks, while Birdy is a natural charmer who can captivate almost everyone he meets.To help his best friend Ten, Birdy casually decides to seduce Moss. But instead of pursuing him too aggressively, he flirts like someone waving a toy in front of a cat—he catches Moss’s attention, then immediately pulls away. Moss pretends not to care, but he is clearly intrigued.After the innocent romance of ThamePo, William and Est return with a much more mature and dangerous kind of chemistry. This was fun from the very first episode.

pleasantly surprised. dean's such a douchebag, i love him already lol. love the acting from the two main leads and the chemistry between them ! also i'm a big fan of shows where characters actively use their phones/socmed (idk how to explain it lmao), feels more immersive.can't wait to watch next week's ep :)

I spent some good 10 minutes just in the first part before the intro😭 I love how this episode all about the dynamics of the main characters and the people & environment surrounding them. I loved the playful but loyal friendship dynamic of Dean-Ten!!! And my eyes literally got teary at scenes of Moth-Pun🥹 Their type of friendship is so precious!!! I'm really loving how we really didn't see anything in the trailer before compare to the actual plot that got unveiled in the first episode. I'm so looking forward to all the upcoming episodes. You can bet I'm gonna rewatch this one episode the whole week until episode 2 comes out🙂↔️
