In a quiet alley away from the noise of the city, mountain photographer Aoyama Yujiro spots a young girl among a group of loitering youths and instinctively begins snapping photos of her. Her name is Ishigami Akemi. This marks their first meeting. A few days later, Akemi suddenly shows up at Aoyama’s apartment. It seems that after her father’s death, she was chased by debt collectors and forced to leave home. Thus begins their strange life together under one roof.
