Through the window of a taxi stopped at a red light, Ryo catches sight of Zen and Futami standing just a little too close. Consumed by jealousy, he takes Zen home with him. Driven by jealousy, Ryo brings Zen back home with him, and unable to hold himself back at the entrance, he presses a passionate kiss on him. "Zen… stay the night with me." But that night, their miscommunication reaches a breaking point, and Zen walks away, saying, "We can't keep being together like this…" The next day, an offhand remark from Futami lays bare the very heart of their relationship. The feelings they've kept bottled up finally spill over, and Ryo at last voices what he's truly wanted to say: "Whether it's as rivals or lovers… I want to be the only one by your side." On a night when they're finally able to be honest with each other, Zen and Ryo reaffirm the strength to choose one another, and together they take a step toward the future. ima be the odd one out cause i am so freakin glad this sh*t is over - last week i stopped it at the start cause i have come to detest Zen, he acts like the arrived party - while from the start he is the selfish one that (cause he is the bottom) get's to sit around waiting for Ryo to do all the heavy lifting in this relationship. from the start - or at least when Ryo couldn't hide his feeling she was the only one that came clean & made it clear that what they had wasn't a game or a bet - he was invested & emotionally involved where Zen was concerned & other then offer his body has Zen been as emotionally candid EVER with Ryo?? nope - never. & even in this last ep he chose to get butthurt when Ryo was again the one to reach out - why play act? especially when he saw that Ryo was sick?? couldn't he put his own petty needs aside for a night & take care of Ryo? at least show him that he cared for him even a little??? the act the day after didn't sell me on how he cares - like miss me with that sh*t. so yeah i am over this BL & elated that this is over. yeah there is a special ep but i doubt it's gonna redeem Zen in my eyes - he is unworthy of Ryo & am sure i am gonna fast forward most of the ep like i did this crap finale.

Wait, I thought this had one more episode.…

Wait, I thought this had one more episode. I did not know it ended on 9. WE ARE TOO OLD TO BE THIS BAD AT COMMUNICATING. This was oddly really romantic. This was probably the best Japanese PL I have ever seen. It was romantic and well done for nine episodes. I think they are making a special episode, but I do not remember when that is coming out. Apparently, this is the final episode. I liked that a lot. I was a huge fan of the whole thing with the third guy, but it was still cute, and I am impressed by how well they did this. I thought the actors did a really, really good job because it felt very natural. Also, the Ever One, it was like in the final couple minutes where he is in his high school form and then he looks back and it switches as him. That was the cutest goddamn thing ever and that was such a nice touch. Overall, I quite like this show and I am going to write my review for it now. But yeah, this was really good for a Japanese BL and just BL in general. Of course, I have a few critiques, but this was overall really good and they impressed me with this. Okay bye!

The final scene ended abruptly, just like…

The final scene ended abruptly, just like the manga. Not that I'm complaining, since the series was the same as the manga, down to the last detail.I don't know if it's because I'm not having a great day, but it seems to me that the music was louder than usual in several scenes in the episode, which detracted a bit from the more serious scenes and broke the “immersion” a little.
