Hiro is a first-year high school student, and one day he calls his older brother, Mito, and tells him, "I've decided to kill Sugimori." Mito gives him two pieces of advice: "Do what you've left undone while you still can, and make sure you can articulate clearly why you decided to kill Sugimori so you can explain your reasons in court." Hiro tries to put this advice into practice, but the story takes an unexpected turn.
