The story is set on Tellus, a distant planet in outer space. Facing extinction due to the effects of environmental destruction caused by Earth, its inhabitants dispatch an investigator named Nizaki to determine whether Earth should be destroyed. The subject chosen for the investigation is Majima Rita, a second-grade elementary school student living in Tokyo. A mysterious “Bracelet of Destiny” worn by Rita monitors her sense of altruism.
