Japan Does It Again: A Weird, Naughty, Steamy Butt BL That Somehow Actually Works!
Sometimes a short series can be far more entertaining than a typical 45-minute drama, and Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good? proves exactly that. At just 13 minutes episodes, it wastes no time pulling you into its hilarious, romantic, and unexpectedly steamy story.Ainosuke only wanted to experience one very specific fantasy 🍑, but he definitely wasn't expecting it to come with a CEO. After a chance encounter turns into a passionate night, he discovers at his job interview that his future boss is the same man. 😂
One detail I really appreciated is how well the casting reflects the story. Sho Sakai is 25 in real life, while Kimisawa Yuki is 41, creating a 16-year age difference that closely matches the characters' relationship. It makes the age-gap dynamic feel much more believable. Kimisawa Yuki is incredibly handsome as the tall, muscular, mature businessman, while Sho Sakai perfectly captures Ainosuke's youthful charm and innocence.
Their chemistry was instant. They meet on the train, cross paths again at a café, and things escalate quickly. The intimate scenes were passionate, realistic, and filled with convincing kisses that made their attraction feel natural rather than forced.
The biggest laugh came the next morning when Ainosuke rushed to his job interview, only to discover that the man he had just spent the night with was not only his future boss but also the company's president.
Overall, this was a fantastic series. The acting is solid, the chemistry is excellent, and the blend of workplace romance, comedy, and steamy moments makes it incredibly entertaining.
This series is so funny and naughty. I'm obsessed. But waiting 168 hours for a 13 minute episode should actually be illegal. 😂
Japan always manages to surprise me with their weird and unconventional BL stories, and I'm completely here for it. I can't wait to see how this heartfelt CEO-and-university-student romance develops.

Apparently Sexy Butt's R Good
What do you say about this BL with such a Cringe in your face or butt however you'd like to frame it TitleI shrug cause it happens to be very entertaining - it's like Soft Porn but like most BL's it doesn't cross the line into Crude -- at least not in my opinion The characters are endearing You have an CEO who is Gorgeous haven't a clue where this guys been hiding cause he is 41yrs old & I think he's Fantastic would have thought he would have tons of Leading Roles but maybe we will see more of him now-- Nothing like a good BL to jump start a career & I hope is does I have seen Sakai Sho in a few roles I really liked him in the BL Living with him some say he over acts I think there are worse things & his looks/actions kinda go to the dramatic he makes the perfect Twink
I like the dynamic because let's face it -- it is very realistic many a young person gets with a much older established mate & if it works it works This pairing works It is a good watch, so far it's entertaining & I will watch the rest of the series for sure

First Impression: Are the Sexy Buttocks Not Good
Overall: the first episode was good.10 episodes about 13 minutes each. Airing on GagaOOLala https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/8151/are-the-sexy-buttocks-not-good-2026-e01 (not available in Taiwan, Japan or Korea)Content Warning: groping (not between the MLs)
What I Liked
- age gap/experience gap
- intimacy
Room For Improvement
- borderline victim blaming with telling him not to be on the dating app on the train
- (neutral) one character has an overacting style that I've seen in several Japanese series

A surprisingly funny first episode.
The story begins with a college student who is simply curious about sex rather than romance. His curiosity leads him into an unexpected encounter with a sophisticated older man—who later turns out to be the president of the company where he gets a job.The setup is outrageous, but the comedy keeps it entertaining instead of awkward.
I haven't read the original manga yet, but the casting immediately caught my attention. Sho Sakai perfectly fits the innocent yet curious Ainosuke, while Yuki Kimisawa has exactly the mature charm needed for the company president.
After the success of Fukami-kun, it feels like Japanese BL dramas are becoming more confident with slightly bolder themes. I'm looking forward to seeing whether this series develops beyond its provocative premise.

First Episode
It was funny. The male leads are handsome and their interactions are a little bit romantic. Sure there's an age gap, but it doesn't feel like there is a huge gap. The train scene isn't fun with the groper, but it's part of the story and it's short. I don't think it was victim shaming by warning him to be careful about not letting other travelers see what apps he is using.I'm looking forward to the rest of the episodes!

Excuse Me While I Laugh… This Show is Silly
What did I just watch? I can’t even stop laughing because huhhhh???!!! LMFAOOOOI don’t even know what to say, it’s such a silly show, that’s just all it is. Now, to satisfy the curiosity of those who want to watch (it’s an older man falls in love with a younger cute guy trope) but it’s so untypical.
The first episode is …ummm silly?? or what’s another word for silly? It is just that.
I can’t even tell what else the other episodes would have but I would keep watching lol
Don’t want to experience this alone so you better watch it too. (P.S: do not expect too much; it’s silly but kinda works lol and catchy story too)
