“Blind Date in Bed” the only saving grace!
AND I WAS RIGHT !! there was no big surprise waiting at the end and Last experiment is painfully boring. I wrote the review after watching first 7 episodes and nothing really changed after watching all episodes. “Blind date in bed” still takes the cake.Since it's called Love Lab, I went in expecting people to fall in love under genuinely unusual or experimental circumstances. The first story, Date in Bed, absolutely delivered. At first, I wasn't sure what to make of the concept, but as the episodes progressed, I realized it was surprisingly meaningful while still being undeniably steamy. and I found myself genuinely rooting for the couple that came out of it.
The second story, Cabin in the Woods, was the complete opposite for me. It was so dull that it nearly put me to sleep. I kept watching because I was convinced there had to be some big twist around the corner, but instead it turned into the same "my ideal type," "puppy face," "cat face" conversations that I've already seen in countless other dating shows.Honestly, this experiment could have wrapped up in three episodes, but it continued for another episode. Sigh.
And to top it all off, The Heart King wasn’t that fun either because the story revolves around just two participants and their decisions… like?? Does it even matter who the KING is at this point?
As for the couples in the group experiments, I honestly think they'd all be better off going their separate ways. So far, I just don't see many genuine mutual feelings developing between any of them. And the athlete guy, in particular, gives me really shady vibes. I'm not convinced any of these matches have much long-term potential. Adding to the list most participants from the Heart king experiment gives me weird vibes like I dunno they don’t feel genuine. Plus No end couple made me happy.

Love this Show!
This show is crazy. I love it so much. The hosts always having me laughing. Can‘t get enough of his dimples!! 🙈They are so cute together tho as hosts. love them. I didn’t know who he was at first but thought he seemed familiar, then realized he’s in one of my fave groups! 😅 MONSTA X!! ❤️❤️❤️I literally watch this at 2am & my poor hubby gets woken up from me laughing at the hosts or going crazy over the cute couples!! episodes 1-2 were nuts. omg I loved it so much. they are so adorable!! episodes 3-4 I knew were going to end on a cliffhanger. ugh! I waited so long!! 😭 I seriously adore this show, though!! and it’s not often I make it through a dating show, let alone get this excited about it. can‘t wait to see what happens!!

such a fun and unique dating show!!
firstly i really like the set up of the dating show. Normally all other dating shows are the same 1 island with 8 people on it that 'fall in love' and while that is fun it gets boring. I like the new fun concepts like blind date in bed. While the isolated cabin videos can be compared to normal dating shows I do still think they are different and engaging enough for you to watch without getting bored. Not to mention the supppeerrr funny hosts, i can't get enough of their jokes they are actually so real and make the best jokes. Final couples were manipulated by the production team
The show was not all bad. "Blind Date in a Bed" was a refreshing change. It provided something new and interesting to the dating show genre and I really enjoyed it. Also, was happy to see them becoming an official couple. "Drunk Blind Date" was also entertaining but totally unrealistic. I mean, how can you have a meaningful conversation when you're alcohol levels are at 0.8? The next date was more watchable since they lowered their levels to 0.5. Unfortunately, they kept on drinking until they were too drunk to understand each other or even remember their convos. Not surprised they didn't couple up. The other 2 experiments, however, where just too stupid. It looked to me like the production team manipulated events to make sure that the couple they were rooting for ended up together. In "Isolated Romance", they allowed Ji-Young to have a chat with Si-Hyun (granted he asked for her) then immediately had them make the final decisions without giving Hyun-Jin to speak with him. This forced Si-Hyun to make a decision without hearing Hyun-Jin's side. In the same manner, in "The Heart King Game" right after the Secret Dates, they had Kyung-Ho and Ga-Yeon arrive at the house first giving them time to be together and strengthening their relationship further (altho even before this point Ga-Yeon had already obviously chosen Kyung-Ho). The problem is they had Ye-Rim arrive next and seeing them acting all lovey-dovey hurt her feelings. The production crew just wanted to raise their ratings regardless of how it affects the participants. I really hated this part. Please don't make a second season.P.S. I gave the Rewatch Value a 1 coz they don't allow 0.

The last part should be a separate dating show
Omg! I just finished this and especially the last part of this show, the King’s Game got me in a chokehold!!!!! I was rooting soooooo much for Yerim it hurt my heart and made my blood bloid when I saw how Ga-yeon was manipulating everyone around her just so she could get with Kyung-ho! I still do think that Kyung-ho is also kind of a red flag, I still think that the way how Ga-yeon was leading Jung-min on was CRUEL!!!! Kyung-ho was literally ghosting Yerim and Gayeon was manipulating… Well I guess it’s two red flags made for each other 🤡🤡🤡She basically just went with him at the beginning because he was the only one who chose her and she was left alone with him at the house… It makes me so mad! Jung-min is so naive! Just by looking at her I knew what a person she was! You can tell by her eyes. She is literally a fox in human form aka gumiho! I would have never trusted a person like her…
And she kept on going on and on about how she was looking for someone grounded and safe and how she doesn’t do skinship before dating… 🤡🤡🤡 yeah ofc! who are you kidding girl??? Your words don’t match your visuals! If she was really looking for someone seriously she would have never fallen for someone like Kyung-ho who obviously was very aroused during their first date. She knows how to control men with just her eyes and the way she talks. She knows exactly how that makes the men feel like. I could feel the sexual attraction through the screen. Kyung-ho looked like a hungry wolf and Ga-yeon like a sly fox, luring him, knowing exactly where the delicious meat was hidden… She can say whatever she wants, I am not buying it!

Last experiment is such a Bummer!!
I genuinely wanna know exactly WHAT WAS THE EXPERIMENT in the Heart King Game???Six whole episodes for ONE experiment and somehow, there was barely any experiment in it! Honestly, it felt way too stretched out and this feels like every other dating show.
Also, Kang Ho and Ga-yeon need to get a room ASAP! Just send them somewhere private because they seem like they might pounce on each other at any moment. Plus Gayeon was never genuinely into Jeongmin and eventually will do him dirty. Poor guy deserves so much better he’s way too genuine.
And Yerim, girl… GET A GRIP! I honestly wish she had played it cooler and not given Kang Ho any reaction. But I guess she couldn’t act unbothered while watching something happen right in front of her. Thou I love how cutee and naive she is.
As far as other participants are concerned we barely see them! Soo I am gonna pass on the last episode bcz idc anymore and no couple is worth rooting for.
The first experiment was actually a REAL EXPERIMENT, and I loved it. But after that, all the experiments were mostly a letdown and not because the couples didn’t end up dating, but because none of them really felt that unusual or exciting. The drunk blind date was interesting too, but the experiments involving multiple people were just straight-up bizarre.

Such a fantastic idea, wasted on such an average execution.
It’s just like many K-dramas that begin with a unique concept and a highly promising premise, only to eventually fall back on the same old clichés.The "blind date in bed" was incredibly unique and refreshing. What I loved most was the idea of two people building a connection based solely on how they felt about each other, without outside options or love triangles getting in the way. Finally, a dating show that wasn't treating romance like online shopping. I was hooked.
The so-called "isolated romance" turned out to be about as isolated as a group project. The chip giving segment was just another recycled confession activity we've seen a hundred times before, and suddenly all that originality collapsed. The show traded its biggest strength for the safest, most predictable formula.
The biggest disappointment in isolated romance, was the chemistry or rather, the complete lack of it. there were almost no heart-fluttering moments. No lingering eye contact, no butterflies, no unforgettable conversations that made you root for anyone. The only heart fluttering moment I remember was Hyun Ji holding Si-hyun’s hand after they’ve just met, that was out of the blue and exciting.. The end couple was even more insane and not in a good way !! Like are you kidding me !
The 4th experiment, King of Hearts, was… alright. But honestly, where was the love??
Everyone was giving player energy except Yerim. The amount of planning, plotting, calculating, and scheming just to decide who goes on which date… meanwhile I’m here wondering, “Does anyone actually LIKE anyone???”
Maybe it’s just me, but that didn’t feel like a love experiment. And the chips??? They were supposed to represent feelings, but half the time it felt like people were just handing them out like loyalty points.

All in one dating show
Love love the production!!! This show has everything that a dating show has to provide and honestly as of now(ep3) there's not any crazy evil editing just to fit some kdrama narrative which is great. They all shown as real people not some mcs/villains so kudos to the PDs for keeping it genuine atleast for now.Loved the 1st couple and the theme, it's something i haven't imagined to be this wholesome. Just when I thought nothing gonna top it, here comes the 2nd troupe. Looks like the regular dating show troupe but it's quite exactly not especially the dynamics.
I only recently started watching dating shows starting with SI5(it's great until the end and pulled in many new audiences to the dating show world) and there are very few dating shows that's actually enjoyable without skipping much scenes(like my sibling's romance, LC in bali) and this one definitely goes in the list! I'd recommend it.

A good experiment
The “Meet in bed” couple had the heart racing with enthusiasm. Each interaction had an energy of yearning. The audience (myself) is engaged in having them become a successful couple in their relationship. The “Cabin on the hill” couples challenged the dynamic of natural instinct, where our innate ability to win over a mate is displayed. The mind overtakes the heart, in which reason gives way to connect themselves with superficial human identifiers. The authenticity of each participant is exposed.
