After her parents' divorce, Shiori is forced to live apart from her mother, Meiko. Hoping to reconnect with the past, Shiori and her middle school friend Nito set out to find a time capsule that Shiori and Meiko buried together years earlier. But when they dig at the place they remember, the time capsule is nowhere to be found. Determined to find answers, the two girls decide to visit Meiko in person.
