The story follows a colorful cast of characters who engage in battles using special abilities known as "Sigils." Kaname is a university student who has led an ordinary life until one day he suddenly receives an invitation email for a mysterious app called "Darwin's Game". When Kaname casually launches the app, what he discovers is a life-or-death survival game that unfolds in the real world. As he becomes caught up in the game, Kaname adapts to unfamiliar abilities and gradually grows while forging bonds with his companions.
