An omnibus special comprised of four segments: >>Story 1: "Mother's Auction" (マザーズオークション) Kishida Ryo, aged 26, was a NEET who made a habit of secretly listing items from his family home on online auctions and selling them off whenever they fetched a good price. One day, while browsing an auction site, Ryo stumbled upon something unexpected. It was a photo of Ryo’s mother, Nobuko. Ryo stared in stunned disbelief at the listing page, which bore the caption: "I’ll be your mom!" Lately, an increasing number of people were putting themselves up for auction online; in fact, a friend of Ryo’s had even won a new mother in one such auction. The sheer volume of times that Ryo had seen Nobuko’s words—"I’ll get it right this time when it comes to raising a child"—is... >>Story 2: "Itai wa Ittai……" (遺体は一体……) Veteran detective Sakuraba Takao had sensed the scent of a crime and visited a private residence. His junior colleague, Section Chief Kuriyama Michito, and young detective Shindo Reiya had already arrived at the scene. Then, in the second-floor bedroom, the bodies of a man and a woman lay stretched out. Leaving the room, Sakuraba discovered a bloodstained kitchen knife in the shrubbery. However, when he returned to the bedroom to fetch gloves, the woman's body—which should have been there just moments before—had vanished. Sakuraba was stunned by this impossible turn of events, while Kuriyama and the others were bewildered, insisting there had never been a body to begin with. To make matters worse, the murder weapon he had found and the bloodstains on the stairs had also disappeared without a trace... >>Story 3: "Jikkajimai" (実家じまい) Natsume Saya, a corporate employee in her thirties, had just finished the funeral for her mother, Emiko—her only family—and was in the process of clearing out her childhood home in an old apartment complex. When Matsuno Satomi, a friend of her mother’s, heard this, her expression changed drastically; however, Saya, recalling the suffocating over-involvement of her mother, proceeded to dispose of even the handmade items her mother had crafted. However, when she returned home after taking out the trash, she found everything back in place, accompanied by notes reading "Don't throw this away!" and "That's sacrilege!" The following weekend, while Saya was continuing to clear things out, Matsuno visited her, bringing homemade cookies. Matsuno was overjoyed when Saya recognized the taste as her mother's cooking—a reaction that left Saya feeling unsettled... >>Story 4: "Oji-san ni Naritai" (おじさんになりたい) Eight-year-old Nuikawa Koharu owned a mysterious costume that allowed her to transform into a middle-aged man who looked incredibly realistic. After having her younger sister Chinatsu—who was two years her junior—zip up the suit, Koharu headed to the park in the guise of the middle-aged man. Her goal was to speak to her father, Mamoru, as an adult while he was on his way home. Although Mamoru doted on his daughters, he often treated his wife, Satoko—a full-time homemaker—coldly. That night, too, he berated Satoko for attempting to apply for a part-time job. Witnessing this scene, Koharu resolved to take a stand.
