After the death of her father, Homura Haruko travels to Kofu Island, where the villa he left behind is located. There, Haruko learns that her father was a detective and meets Kitagawa Junichi, who has escaped from a facility on the island. Her encounter with Kitagawa leads Haruko to become caught up in a certain case in which her father had been involved.
